Delamere: Private Rehab Clinic & Addiction Treatment

Delamere was here for me at a crucial turning point in my addiction. I was spiralling quickly and I needed help. I was here within 36 hours of my initial call. The whole process has been planned meticulously- from being collected at home by Bernard, who really set my mind at ease. A lovely warm greeting from Kerry and John who showed such kindness when I arrived. The nursing team who offered more than just clinical support. Kiyah especially in my first few days here was such a support and offered me lots of good advice when I was still questioning what I was even doing here (it was the weekend when I arrived so this was very valuable to me with not many other staff about). All the staff have been amazing, and you can genuinely see the passion they have for the amazing work they’re doing here. The programme here is well thought out with a gentle progression through the material whilst your body and mind are adjusting to detox and settling into a good routine. Above all I have really appreciated the break from everyday life and the community and support I have here with the other guests.

Delamere is a place of excellence and caring with superb staff. The therapy is professionalism of the highest quality by staff who have compassion and understanding. From personal experience from my four weeks of my stay at Delamere I am leaving with an enthusiasm and positivity to embark on the rest of my life with renewed confidence.

Lift not working for six weeks at least, cleaners carrying large carts down the staircase, ridiculous. 72 year’s old lady with a cane expected to carry washing up and down staircase, how can she hold the banister ! Steps outside no handrails. Signed waver will not save you in court

Have had a lovely experience here. I have been properly looked after throughout my stay here and the staff have been amazing. I have particularly enjoyed my 1-1 sessions and the process groups (of which I think there should be at least two more of per week, I have heard almost everyone say they get the most out of those group sessions).

Lovely place. Lovely staff and overall experience. Really classes and got a lot out of the sessions and therapy. Feeling very positive about leaving and that I have the tools I need to manage.

Honestly, finding Delamere was one of the best things that has ever happened to me. When I first arrived, I was extremely nervous and anxious, not knowing what to expect. But from the moment I walked through the doors, the team at Delamere did an amazing job of making me feel welcome, comfortable and at ease. I built some incredible connections with both the staff and the other guests during my time there, but most importantly, I formed a really special connection with my mentor and therapist. Their support, understanding and guidance helped me open up, understand myself better and start making positive changes in my life. Delamere gave me so much more than I ever expected. It gave me hope, confidence and the tools to move forward with my life in a much healthier and happier way. I’ll always be grateful for my experience there and for the amazing people who helped me along the way.

Not enough positive words to do Delamere Health the justice it deserves. The facilities are wonderful but the most wonderful part of Delamere is the staff. Every single member is so genuinely caring and supportive, they offer a feeling of safety which is so important when going through this process. I couldn’t recommend Delamere enough.

My time at Delamere has been an absolute pleasure, everything from staff to guests, to the facilities have been excellent. The fine detail of the sessions and how to deal with your problems moving forward is amazing. I would highly recommend Delamere to anyone.

Excellent all round from admission to clinical care and evidence-based treatment/therapy. Great building, surroundings and food. Guest liaisons staff always helpful.
