Delamere has been a godsend to me. From the first moment I contact them to the final day of my stay, they were warm, professional and caring. Each and every member of staff, from the cleaning teams to the senior leaders has the best interests of guests at heart. Delamere is a caring and friendly community which focuses on the needs of the individual, but in such a way that the programme does not feel over-medicalised. The care and attention given from the nursing team is second to none and nothing is too much trouble. They explain everything to you in a way you can understand and always have time for questions or queries. The guest liaison team are approachable and helpful as well as supportive and kind. The quality of the group session is excellent and well-thought through to support you on you recovery journey. This is exemplified by the outstanding quality of therapy and mentoring I received throughout my time at Delemere. The chefs are excellent and proved a nutritious and balanced diet which is excellent quality. The team as re also friendly and welcoming. What was special about Delemere is the personal touch. Every member of staff knew your name and was happy to chat about any issues you might have at any time of day. I cannot thank the staff enough for the opportunity they have given me to get my life back on track. I wholeheartedly recommend Delemere for anyone needing their expertise and support.

I underwent ACL reconstruction with meniscus repairs under the care of Mr Mazin Ibrahim, and I am now around 9–10 weeks post-surgery. From my first consultation through to surgery and follow-up, I found Mr Ibrahim to be highly professional, knowledgeable, and reassuring. He explained my diagnosis and treatment options clearly, took the time to answer questions, and never made me feel rushed. The surgical plan was well explained, and the procedure itself went smoothly. Post-operatively, my knee has been stable, and my recovery has progressed as expected with no complications so far. Mr Ibrahim demonstrated strong expertise in knee surgery and a calm, confident manner that gave me trust in the process. I felt well supported throughout, and the communication between himself, the hospital team, and physiotherapy was excellent.

Consultant Review – Mr Chris O’Neill I attended a follow-up appointment with Mr Chris O’Neill at the Belfast Private Hospital following my recent hip surgery and was extremely pleased with the care I received. The consultation was thorough and reassuring. Mr O’Neill carefully examined my wound, assessed my leg movement, listened to my concerns, and clearly explained my progress and expected recovery timeline. My overall experience was excellent, from the reception staff, being taken to the room, the 1:1 pre-operative discussions with Dr Lowe and Dr Barnard, to the nursing staff (continuity of the nursing staff and Daisy's approach and empathy), the theatre team and the post procedure care. I mentioned to Dr Lowe how impressed I was with the communication between the theatre team, which provided a great deal of confidence. I should also mention how well they communicated with me on a 1:1 basis explaining what they were doing.

Mr Shafiq is a highly skilled surgeon, he has literally turned my vision back to my late 20's before I was required to ear glasses. The facility is far superior to your average NHS hospital. This is GP services as they should be. I booked on Sunday afternoon and had a good selection of appointments for Monday morning. I was seen on my appointment time. The fact that the appointments are 20 minutes long allows the GP time to be very thorough and explain in detail your condition. Over four visits this year, I have always seen the same GP, which builds the connection that the excessively busy NHS service no longer provides.

I had to have 4 visits to get a crown fitted on a rear tooth. Hours after the first temporary crown was fitted it fell off. I attended the surgery the following day to have a second temporary crown fitted but was not informed that, as it was a different Dentist, this would incur a separate charge which is not good practice. This second temporary crown also fell off after a couple of days.
