I then sought a private consultation with Mr. Anil Tailor, whose NHS experience and credentials immediately reassured me. Even my initial call brought comfort—Mr. Tailor himself answered, calmly and kindly. After reviewing my scan, he suggested bringing my appointment forward, which was greatly appreciated. At the consultation, his warm professionalism stood out. He performed the necessary examinations (with a nurse present) in his own office, then took time to explain everything clearly—using hand-drawn diagrams and plain language. I left feeling informed, confident, and, for the first time in weeks, able to breathe again. Surgery was arranged within two weeks. Mr. Tailor guided me through every step—from pre-op assessments to insurance support—and on the day, explained everything once more with clarity and care. His willingness to respond promptly via WhatsApp was an incredible source of reassurance. At my post-op review, he again took thoughtful time to discuss my new hormonal plan. I cannot recommend Mr. Anil Tailor highly enough—for anyone seeking gynaecological oncology expertise or compassionate, expert gynaecological care. He is truly exceptional.

Mr Robert Gleeson

Mr Gleeson did a reconstruction ACL surgery on my left knee (previous ACL surgery was 12 years ago, and then re-tore that same ACL rock climbing). All my options, pros/cons, and risks were clearly explained, and it was clear that Mr Gleeson wanted what was best for me. I chose to have the reconstruction surgery, and felt safe and informed throughout the whole process. While I'm sure this is unique to my own circumstances, I found that: the pain post-surgery was very minimal when managed with medication, and my recovery was smooth and fast. As I write this review about 7 months later, I am back to cycling, running, and hiking. I wanted to regain functionality to live an active life (I'm no star athlete, but in my mid-30s and enjoy the outdoors). The muscle mass on my left side is still not quite a match for my right side, and I know a dedication to physical therapy/training could fix this. My goal was to get back to the level of being able to enjoy moderate activities that I was at before, and I have achieved that, thanks to Mr Gleeson, and my lovely physical therapist!

From the minute I arrived for my operation I was looked after by friendly professional staff. I was desperate to have the operation to replace my hip as I had been suffering for months due to misdiagnosis by my GP. From seeing a consultant privately the waiting time was 5 weeks, which was amazing. I had a spinal block & was asleep throughout the operation. The post operative care was excellent & pain relief was discussed with me until I was happy with the medication prescribed. The reception staff on the ground floor are very professional and helpful A couple of the ladies on the 3rd floor are not so professional, it’s happened a few times during my visits over the past 6 months were they can be heard moaning between themselves about patients being sent up early from the ground floor reception, I can only imagine them moaning about me arriving 40mins early, hence why I opted to stay on the ground floor reception until nearer my time slot This doesn’t involve the lady who works directly for Ali, she is more than helpful

Mr Rahim Kaba

Mr Kaba may not appreciate the full extent of my appreciation for his providing a diagnosis and treatment strategy for my deeply bothersome urinary condition. Whereas the NHS had completed many tests, 20 months after my GP referral, I was still unable to secure an appointment to meet with a consultant to obtain a diagnosis. Mr Kaba carefully reviewed all my test results and listened to my concerns, and immediately relieved my anguish.

The gastroscopy procedure was very quick (a lot quicker than I expected it to be). It only took about 5 mins, but I thought it'd be about 15 mins. I had the conscious sedative and throat spray, but I wasn't even drowsy after the appointment at all. I was walking and talking perfectly and was wide awake.
