Name: Patricia H. H. Patient ID: xxxxxxx Consultant: Mr Graham Bailie On Monday 8 December 2025 I visitied No. 6 Lisburn Road to have my wound reviewed. I recently had a full hip replacement with a wound on my hip with approximately 10 staples. The wound was reveiwed and reported that it was mending very satisfactorily. The original dressing on the wound was 30cm x 10cm. When the nurse was finishing examining the wound, she replaced the dressing with a smaller one - 15.5cm x 8.5 cm. She Spent some time stretching the smaller dressing to get it to cover all the staples in the wound. That evening, I experienced great pain with my wound. When I touched it through my clothing, the skin was extremely tender. Eventually, I removed the dressing to find extensive bruising at either side of the wound. It appears, that by stretching the smaller dressing to cover the staples, the wound itself had become extremely aggravated and angry. I replaced the dressing with a larger dressing. Within a few hours, the pain had subsided. However, 4 days later, the bruising is still present. I cannot understand why the nurse chose to use a smaller dressing which obviously caused great discomfort/aggravation to the wound. Having made a great recovery since the operation, this was a major setback to such a successful recovery.

O 13 December I attended for a pre-med prior to spinal tap. Very good treatment until advised that the spinal tap cancelled due to my ECG. I was urged to immediately contact my GP or A&E. At Worthing A&E I was advised that due to current medication that I am taking for this issue it would have been OK to continue with the spinal tap and it was suggested that One Hospital refused to continue due to your lack of facility if the op went wrong. The journey to One Hospital, 90 miles each way, the time taken for that journey and the pre med followed by 2 hours in A&E was expensive. Before attending One Hospital I had completed a form at your request which listed the medication that I was taking and the reason. Why was I invited to that pre med? This is the second time that One Hospital have refused to go ahead with an operation that was subsequently completed by NHS without a problem. I now have no confidence in the One Hospital and will not seek further appointments.

I have been seeing Dr Toth for the past year - it was a follow up from a diagnosis of an autoimmune condition I received some years ago - his diagnosis. He is very thorough, extremely professional, very personable, considerate and understanding. My first visit to him was not long after my mother had died and I was upset and he was very understanding and gave me time to talk about it. He carried out a full blood screening (among other things) which highlighted areas which required attention. The money you spend on a consultation is very well spent, the timing of the consultations means that you have time with him to talk through results and why he considers what the next steps are that should be taken. I highly recommend him.

Outstanding Service and Kind Support I would like to sincerely thank the team at London Blood Tests for their kindness and professionalism. From the very beginning, they were extremely helpful in arranging the appointment, responding promptly to my questions, and making the whole process smooth and reassuring. Their communication was clear, respectful, and genuinely supportive, which made a big difference for us. It is rare to find a service that combines efficiency with such a warm and caring approach. I am truly grateful for their help and highly recommend them for their excellent service and human touch.

My overall experience was fine. The problem I have is I was not measured for the compression stockings resulting in a sore behind my right knee. I also had three grooves around my left leg which fortunately have not caused me any problems. It would be helpful to future patients if more care was taken when measuring for these.stockings maybe having measurements double checked. I am having very good treatment on my sore from Lynsey who has worked wonders to help my leg heal. I would like to thank Mr Patko who did a marvellous job on my replacement hip which has given me no problems whatsoever.

Always an absolute pleasure coming to Vermilion, the staff are just on another level. I honestly think you wouldn’t get that kind of treatment anywhere else in the country. Customer service is first class. Everyone, from the admin teams and front of house, to the Drs and Hygienists. Had my third Hygienist appointment with Debbie last week, she is absolutely amazing, always feel better after seeing her (mentally and with a sparkling mouth 😂). Also, Dr Martin Morley is also such a great guy, so easy to talk to and great at what he does. Best dental team, hands down.

I would like to commend Paul Stimpson on his ability to put the patient at ease, while conducting a very professional investigation of their symptoms. His clinical examination is both thorough and unhurried, and is accompanied by a full explanation of what is happening throughout the various examination techniques, investigative procedures, and treatments. The consultation was very worthwhile and left me with a clear view of what was causing my symptoms and how they could be resolved.

I was quite anxious at the prospect of needing a hip replacement and put it off for as long as I could. But when I met Sam Heaton he was very approachable, kind and reassuring. He made me feel confident that I was in good hands. On the day, he and his team looked after me really well and did a brilliant job with my hip. Eights weeks on and I am completely pain free and have my life back. If I ever need the other hip doing I would definitely go back to Sam.

Grace waudby took my initial assessment on a video link she took her time and explained every and asked about everything. The assignment was supposed to be 30mins it took longer. When I went in for the viscual assessment she came and introduced herself again. Which was nice she did but never had too. That show me that she is very thoughtful and caring about my journey though this hard process thank you grace all the best in your future

Recently had a right hip replacement on November 17th. Mr Ihsan Mahmood was my surgeon. On consultation, Mr Mahmood explained how the procedure would go, he listened and answered my questions, and on the day of the operation all the staff…. Especially my anaesthetist were so reassuring and put me at ease. Everything went well and I’m in recovery. Would recommend Elanic to anyone who requires a hip replacement. Very happy so far.

I had to have 4 visits to get a crown fitted on a rear tooth. Hours after the first temporary crown was fitted it fell off. I attended the surgery the following day to have a second temporary crown fitted but was not informed that, as it was a different Dentist, this would incur a separate charge which is not good practice. This second temporary crown also fell off after a couple of days.
