We had an outstanding experience at New Victoria Hospital when our 5-year-old son attended for an adenoidectomy. From our very first phone call, the staff were helpful, professional and welcoming. The reception team were especially kind and reassuring to our son, who was naturally a little nervous. On the day of the procedure, everything was very well organised. We were kept fully informed and felt well cared for throughout. The hospital itself is clean, comfortable and well equipped. The nursing care was exceptional. Jasmine, who looked after our son, was kind, calm and highly professional. She made the experience as positive as possible, explained everything clearly and gave us very helpful advice for caring for him at home. The anaesthetist explained the process in a very child-friendly way, which helped our son feel at ease. The team handled everything so gently that what could have been a frightening experience felt calm and well managed. Overall, the care and service we received were excellent. What could have been a very stressful experience was made to feel smooth, calm and reassuring throughout. Our son’s recovery has gone very well and we are already seeing a significant improvement. We are extremely grateful and would highly recommend New Victoria Hospital to other families.

His manner with my son was particularly lovely – he spoke to him directly in a gentle, age-appropriate way which helped him feel at ease and not frightened. This made a huge difference to both of us. We felt completely confident that our son was in safe hands under his care. The operation and recovery have gone very well, and we are already seeing a significant improvement. I was surprised that the rooms in the London Clinic were old, but as I did not stay overnight, it was not an issue. The staff were very friendly and efficient, however sometimes too friendly as the man who wheeled me in for my second eye (cataracts), was chatting away, when I had been sedated. As a result, I was wide awake, especially as the darkened room I lay waiting in before for my first op (with heated blankets) was not ready, and so I was in the bright lights, with people around talking and then I walked into the surgery. So the second eye op at the London Clinic was not a great experience, compared to the first, which was seamless. The food (if not the coffee!) was good afterwards and the staff attentive and responsive.

I immediately felt at ease as soon as I entered the Reception area. The Receptionist was friendly and welcoming, and I was called to see Mark after only literally a couple of minutes wait. I have been suffering neck and shoulder pain for some weeks now and my wife, who has used the Clinic for other treatment, suggested I make an appointment. Mark was thorough and considerate in getting my medical history, and equally so during my first session of treatment. I was treated with the utmost courtesy and patience, never once feeling uncomfortable or under any pressure. I have felt a significant benefit after just this one visit; as my wife said when I returned home: "You're standing up straight!"

Mr Clamp saw us for neck pain and pain in arms. We had already had a scan so we were expecting results. What we got was a very thorough examination, then results and then ways to improve the symptoms. Mr Clamp was very understanding and listened to the concerns also being very aware of how the problem may affect other aspects of life. The information was very clear and concise and left us with a very clear way to help the problem. We left knowing what the problem is, how to work at improving the symptoms and feeling confident that if we needed to go back then we could. Mr. Clamp was very professional, calm and understanding all the way through the consultation.

My Patient Transport was late, but the staff understood it wasn't my fault and fitted me in within 15 minutes of my arrival, which I was very grateful for. Mr Reddy was lovely (as always) and always explains and discusses things in detail. There was a mix-up with my return Patient Transport, as I got lost after going for X-rays and ended up in the Renal Unit. Simone Brown was extremely pleasant and went out of her way to help sort things out - she is a credit to you.

He followed up the next day with a phone call to check all was well and that I had no problems or queries. The experience could not have been better.

I was explained what was going to happen and my doctor came in before i went to op to explain everything and if i had any quetions etc. Very relaxing and set me at ease. The staff were all so kind and helpful. They seemed like angels. Before surgery I was crying as I was nervous and had to wait 7 hours in my room(7.00 a.m. to 2.00p.m).everyone, the nurse who held my hand before the anaesthetic and the whole team made my operation possible and relieved the trauma I was feeling. After the operation the care was wonderful and I never doubted I was in good hands.
