The hospital was very clean, staff were very friendly and helpful. The procedure staff were particularly nice and professional. I was very happy with the procedure and the level of professionalism and also good bedside manner. One/two areas which could be improved if you are interested : 1. Pre-procedure information suggested an overall time from entry to release of approx 2hrs. With a 6pm admission time, I assumed I could arrange a collection for 8.30pm with some time to spare. However, on arrival, after approx 1hr 15mins it became apparent that the admission time of 6pm was a general time for 3 patients to be admitted and seen that evening between 6-9pm. I happened to be patient no.2, so was seen around 7.30 and released around 9, meaning I could not use the lift arranged (my wife &kids were ok til then, but not after). This then presented me with a choice of either taxi home or to ask someone at short notice to come and collect me. Had I known the range of procedure/release times in advance, I would have arranged a different, more appropriate, lift from the start. This leads to point no.2 2. I was not made aware of the choice on whether to have sedative or not. The literature states "you will be given a sedative" not that you have a choice. After the delay above, this then created a difficulty whereby if I took the sedative, I could not legally be released to an unknown taxi driver and would have to arrange another lift at short notice or not take the sedative. I opted to not take the sedative. Had I known this option was there, I could have driven myself to and from the appointment. It also would have saved my wife and kids spending time in the car on a busy evening. In connection with this, during the appointment, it sounded like release/recovery after the sedative was likely to be several hours, so release before 10-11pm was unlikely from the start and it was always probably going to be later if I took the sedative. Please don't take the above as criticism, just highlighting that making the choice on sedative clear would have allowed me to more easily plan both my transport. Also providing a bit more detail on the admission/procedure time range and release time range would have allowed me to more easily arrange appropriate transport. Basically, more information would have made things a bit easier is all

I feel very fortunate to have had my chemotherapy and radiotherapy at GenesisCare Cambridge. The standard of care is excellent and everyone at the clinic is friendly and welcoming. While spotlessly clean with fantastic facilities the centre doesn't feel overly clinical. I really like the holistic approach to treatment at GenesisCare and particularly benefited from the exercise medicine clinic which took me from gym phobic to regular gym goer with huge benefits for my physical and emotional wellbeing. GenesisCare go above and beyond to make treatment less arduous, from providing really comprehensive support to prevent or mitigate unpleasant side effects to offering a complimentary taxi service to and from radiotherapy sessions. Another plus of GenesisCare is that the consultations are never rushed - there is always time for questions and I particularly appreciated my consultant taking time to talk me through the treatment options and providing really clear answers to all my questions.

Miss Choudhury is the most amazing, kind and wonderful doctor, surgeon and person. She has always made everything clear and listened to any family problems I have. My operation date was changed as Miss Choudhury completely understood my difficulties regarding family. I really cannot praise Miss Choudhry enough. I’ve always felt completely at ease with her and very comfortable. She always shows genuine concern and I really cannot express my self enough in praising her. She removed half of my thyroid and the scar is virtually invisible as she made the incision in one of my natural neck creases. I cannot value Miss Choudhury by giving 5 stars- she deserves many more as a doctor and person and for her approachability.

I am writing this review after my second video link conversation with Dr. Jeczmien. He didn't make me feel inadequate which enabled me to open up to him. It has taken me years to admit to myself that I needed help and I have finally found and taken the first step to hopefully stop chasing my tail and start to lead a normal life. If this review helps you to also take the first step to reach out for help I am over the moon for you. I was diagnosed as dyslexic at the age of 8years - I am now 46 years old. I didn't want another label but at least I now know I am ADHD a whole weight has been lifted and I am looking forward to try to have an organised life in the future.

My overall experience was fine. The problem I have is I was not measured for the compression stockings resulting in a sore behind my right knee. I also had three grooves around my left leg which fortunately have not caused me any problems. It would be helpful to future patients if more care was taken when measuring for these.stockings maybe having measurements double checked. I am having very good treatment on my sore from Lynsey who has worked wonders to help my leg heal. I would like to thank Mr Patko who did a marvellous job on my replacement hip which has given me no problems whatsoever.

From the moment you meet him, you immediately feel at ease. He is always proactive and you clearly know at the first meeting that you are in safe and competent hands. He has been a life saver for me! We have personally recommended him to friends, and they too are as impressed as we are!

I have had a niggley back for some time due to swimming and playing netball and not done anything about it. However I have got much stiffer and one side of my lower back became painful so reached out to Oseteopath West. Lisa diagnosed my sacroilliac joint was disfunctioning (lol) and did some.hands on treatment and dry needling. All I can say is wow as the pain has gone and more importantly I know what is going on and what I need to do to.prevent this on going. Thank you Lisa for your professional service. I will be back if I need to and will definitely recommend your services.

I was very stressed as I needed to complete my stress test for DVLA in time otherwise I would my driving license. I was waiting for an appointment in other hospital for over 6 weeks and got cancelled, hence my wife contacted Dr Khwanda’s secretary. We were very surprised to have received a call from him something you rarely see in the current NHS nowadays. He was very humble and down to earth. He listened and was very sympathetic. I was overbooked for an early morning slot and performed the test himself. I luckily got this completed. We are grateful for his help.

Dr. Siddika is very professional, friendly, kind. Throughout the process from initial consultation to operational procedure, she is extremely caring. I was very concern at the beginning as I have had quite bad experience in the past. Her patient explanation and kindness already made me felt half relieved during the consultation. Unfortunately, the registration form I had completed online for the consultation seemed to have gone missing. The form that was presented had an address from over 30 years ago!! Not a good start, but thereafter things went smoothly. However, when an invoice recently arrived for a previous stress test and blood test, no account had been taken of the fact that I paid for the stress test on the day I took the test. Overall, there have been some administrative failings.
