Mr Jackson is a Consultant Ophthalmologist with specialist expertise in catract and oculoplastic surgery. He has been a Consultant at Worcestershire Acute Hospitals NHS Trust since 2015 and currenlty serves as Clinicl Director for Ophthalmology.
Mr Jackson graduated from the University of Bristol with a medical degree and also obtained a First-Class Honours degree in Anatomy. He completed his specialist ophthalmology training in the West Midlands before undertaking an advanced Fellowship in Oculoplastic Surgery in Leicester. In 2013, he was awarded Fellowship of the Royal College of Ophthalmologists.
Mr Jackson has extensive experience in the diagnosis and treatment of cataracts and oculoplastic conditions. His specialist interests include cataract surgery, eyelid disorders, watery eyes (lacrimal conditions) and orbital diseases. He is dedicated to delivering high-quality, patient-centred care, tailoring treatment to each individual's needs while ensuring patients feel informed, supported and confident throughout their care.
Alongside his NHS role, Mr Jackson also offers private consultations and treatments at Newmedica Worcester, providing patients with timely access to expert ophtalmic care in a modern, purpose built setting.

I had my second cataract done. Very professional and friendly too.
From start to finish it was a very relaxing Experience. The whole team were very proffesional put me at my ease as iwas a bit nervous.explaing what the procedure stage by stage will be.even tho they are very busy giving the time to make sure you were ok.i went there at 8.15 and was out for 9.15.the operation only took around 10 minutes wich was painless,also had tea and biscuits wich was a nice touch, every one of the team were first class at what they did easy 5star.you could not get better treatment anywhere thankyou.. The cataract operation went very smoothly and was completed in about 10 minites.
