About Dr Daniel Fishman
Dr. Fishman has been a Consultant Physician and Rheumatologist since 2001. He investigates and treats all forms of inflammatory and degenerative arthritis, as well as back pain, osteoporosis, connective tissue disease and soft-tissue rheumatism, such as fibromyalgia (which is one of his clinical interests). He has particular experience in the field of Paediatric and Adolescent Rheumatology.
As well as being a full-time Consultant at Luton and Dunstable University Hospital, he is also the Clinical Director for Rheumatology, leading the adult rheumatology service and setting up the paediatric rheumatology service. Additional positions held have included Secretary of the East Anglian Rheumatology Society, Eastern Regional representative on the Executive Committee of the British Society for Rheumatology and Eastern Regional Speciality Adviser for the Royal College of Physicians.
It is also of note that Dr. Fishman can treat all forms of degenerative and inflammatory arthritis with joint, tendon and soft tissue injections to patients of all ages and is trained in the use of diagnostic ultrasound.

Dr Fishman graduated as MB BS from St Mary's Hospital Medical School (now part of Imperial College) in 1988, having also taken an intercalated BSc in Neuroanatomy during his medical studies. He obtained membership of the Royal College of Physicians in 1991 and was elected as a Fellow of the College in 2006. In 1999, he was awarded a PhD from the University of London for Molecular Pathology research related to Juvenile Arthritis.

Appointment on time, I was given the time to explain my situation fully & examined carefully. Dr. Fishman was very professional & caring, he took the time to explain his diagnosis & the treatment he was proscribing.
This was my first experience of the private sector, and it was a positive one. Dr Fishman made me feel at ease and listened carefully to my problem. Based on my symptoms, he made a confident diagnosis and discussed a treatment plan. He also discussed next steps I should explore with my GP. Within a couple of days, my symptoms were reduced with the start of my new medications. I'm really happy with the outcome of my visit.
I visited Dr fishman presenting with fatigue and he explained that it's likely I have chronic fatigue syndrome and he explained what that involves and what the Next Steps would be and help me understand why it re why it's unlikely to be something else and his explanations were useful
Dr Fishman was very understanding, empathetic and professional. He put me at ease throughout my consultation. He listened to my symptoms fully and did a thorough examination. He was able to provide a diagnosis and explained the diagnosis to me. I felt heard and understood. His follow up letter was very detailed and thorough.
Daniel Fishman was easy to talk to and super helpful by gettting me seen straight away with the imaging department.
