My experience at the Fitzrovia private maternity suite at UCLH was exceptional from start to finish. The room's were spotlessly clean, comfortable, and calm - exactly what you hope for during such an important emotional time. The food was genuinely excellent, with a great variety of choices, which made a real difference during recovery and long days on the ward. Most importantly, the staff were absolutely amazing. From the midwives and healthcare assistance to the catering team, every single person was kind, caring and professional. The midwives were extremely knowledgeable and always on hand to support and reassure, no matter the time of day. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble. What truly stood out was the continuity of care even after discharge. The midwives remained available to support me with breastfeeding and post cesarean aftercare, which was invaluable and made me feel supported well beyond my stay. I cannot fault the Fitzrovia private maternity suite at UCLH. The standard of care, compassion, and attention to detail where outstanding, and I would highly recommend it to anyone considering private maternity to care.

I can’t recommend Mike highly enough. He helped me enormously with severe sciatica down my right leg about four years ago, and I recently returned with a new injury on my left lower back. Once again, the results were amazing, I felt a huge improvement and pain relief within the first session What really sets Mike apart is that he makes sure you are comfortable and he clearly explains what’s going on in your body. He helped me understand how stiffness in my upper back was causing my lower back to compensate, especially during backbends. He also gave me really practical, targeted exercises and stretches to strengthen my lower back, glutes, and upper back, which have made a big difference. Knowledgeable, effective, and genuinely invested in long-term recovery. I wouldn’t go anywhere else and have recommended him to all my friends.

My experience of the hospital was very good. The staff were amazing especially Jayne on Day surgery and David at the ward at night. The only downside that came to my attention is being told that there was no lactose free milk for my tea. The lady, I did catch her name, told me that she wasn’t aware of my overnight stay. She asked me if I was aware that I was staying overnight and I replied ‘yes’. She then went on to ask if I had put it in my forms prior to attending and I said yes. She kept on going on it wasn’t her fault she had been told. A bit of advice would be that she overshared. She clearly sorted the problem as the following morning someone had picked up the milk and I had it with my tea.

Dr Charlotte Frise is an excellent doctor. Despite the multiple complications I had, she had time for me even when she was off duty. She saw me through until I sailed through. I was never afraid at any point even when I couldn’t breathe and had oxygen of 80% on room air, I was motivated. Her smile was always soothing and reassuring, it felt like family. She treats patients like family and it’s heartwarming in difficult times. I begin to tear up when I express how I feel about the care she gave me. Am very impressed and grateful for her services. The NHS is blessed to have doctors like her.

I contacted Dr Nikki after being told a n NHS gynaecologist appointment wait was 64 weeks. It was super easy to make an appointment, find out costs and provide information prior to being seen. It was so nice to be able to spend time with Dr Nikki explaining my issues and actually being listened to. Options were discussed fully, blood tests taken immediately, prescriptions issued and delivered the next day. My follow up was arranged promptly, test results discussed and options openly discussed again. Dr Nikki and the services she offers are so needed for women today.

I was welcome by the receptionist. I saw George Dashfield, Audiologist . George made me feel comfortable and relaxed. He carried out my balance testing explaining each one in detail which I really appreciated. He was very knowledgeable and was able to answer all my queries . He was so thorough and guided me throughout the examinations. His manner is impeccable . By far one of the nicest professional I have come crossed in some time. Would definately recommend this service to others. Thank you.

Thyroid blood test. Never been before. Autistic so some challeges : a sign on door to push would have helped, it was intimidating, couldn’t get in straight away. An area with reduced lighting to wait would have reduced my overwhelm, was very close to waiting outside. Became very overwhelmed trying to explain which test I had booked, knew there was a fault on the website. Although the situation was rectified satisfactorily, it was still an overwhelming, triggering experience.

Mr Ali Abdelwahab made sure I knew what he was talking about. Today's visit, i was waiting just under an hour, which isn't his fault as he has other patients with complex needs, I appreciated him not rushing me off because he may have been behind. I can't fault him one bit. I highly recommend him, he also kept asking me if I had any questions before proceeding on with the appointment. He gave me suggestions so that my injury doesn't come back, which is very much appreciated.

I have always been happy with the service and patient experience at the London Clinic. However, when I went for my MRI on a Saturday morning, MRI department was closed and there was no information about it. I had to go around the hospital to try and find out what was going on. After about an hour I was finally sent to another MRI scanner on a different floor . The clinicians there were lovely and very apologetic about the experience I had although it was not their fault.

I found the number of emails related to the appointments to be unnecessary and extreme. I was asked to complete a pre appointment questionnaire online. I did so and then received 3 further emails and a text message asking me to do the same. I have also received 4 emails asking me to give this feedback. Please look at your system. Filling your clients inboxes with multiple emails is not helpful for anyone.

Ms Ng is a professional surgeon who I would highly recommend. She explained my condition to me in the simplest of terms, and informed me of my options. She carried out my procedure with expertise and resolved my eye condition perfectly. She has a lovely manner and a great personality making my dealings with her very easy. I would not hesitate to recommend her to any of my friends and family!

My consultation with Dr Hardy was very thorough and I felt she really listened to me. She was so professional, but also extremely kind. I left feeling informed of my options and what I really liked was that she gives her professional guidance, but ultimately will work with me to come up with a treatment plan that I feel comfortable with and want to pursue. Dr Durrani diagnosed ostio and rheumatoid arthritis in both of my hands. During my first appointment he prescribed medication and explained everything to me in easy to understand detail. I cannot believe the difference in my hands after five months. I have gone from not being able to do anything to being in a position to do all the things I used to do. I cannot thank him enough.
