The doctor has been fantastic as always. Im fully satisfied with his consultation. The operation outside the consultation was the challenge for a patient. After the consultation I was instructed to go to the reception and wait. I was waiting in the reception from around 19:15. A few other patients there were all called and gone and I was alone in the reception area when the receptionist finally spotted on me around 19:50, asking me if I was waiting for a consultation. I reminded them that that I had already finished it and waiting for the next step. They found in the system that they needed to make an appointment for ultrasound and injection for me. On the ultrasound and injection date. The appointment was 11:00. I arrived at 10:45 as your hospital request to the patient and started waiting. At 10:55, staff told me that the entrance area of the ultrasound treatment room had an urgent repaired work in progress and asked me to wait for 15 mins. The staff came over again telling me that it would be pushed back to 11:30.. At 11:35, I was finally invited for the ultrasound. All the staff were friendly, very apologetic and sympathetic. I just wanted to share that there was room for the operational improvement. Thank you for your service.

He immediately put me at ease, never made me feel rushed, answered all of questions, from the intelligent ones through to the absurd and ridiculous ones, explained everything in a way I understood, was clear in identifying the options I had, and at all times made me feel empowered to make decisions with his support and guidance. He wanted to know and understand me, and managed to build a picture very quickly. His aftercare was equally brilliant; knowing I was concerned he made time on a busy Friday to call me with my results to put my mind at ease, we discussed the future and options, and everything was done in a clam, intelligent and supportive way. His team reflect their leader, and are kind, supportive, warm and friendly. I couldn't have felt more supported throughout, and cannot thank him - or recommend him - more.

I saw Dr Ravi Popat for a knee consultation and I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. From the start, he took the time to properly listen to what had been going on, asked the right questions, and explained everything in a way that actually made sense. No rushing, no generic answers. What really stood out was how thorough and reassuring he was. He went through the scan results carefully, talked me through the options, and made sure I understood the pros and cons before moving forward. I left the appointment feeling informed and confident, not stressed or unsure. You can tell he genuinely cares about getting the right outcome for his patients. Professional, knowledgeable, and very approachable. I’d have no hesitation recommending him to anyone dealing with knee issues.

I was really please with the quality of service at Medneo Great Portlane Street and the speed at which I got my results. The medics seemed very professional and made me feel calm. I wish I'd used the service sooner as before getting a private MRI which I paid for myself I had had a number of physio treatments and exercise plans which may my injury worse due to them not knowing what was actually wrong. They were working blind as it were. And the NHS wouldn't put me on a waiting list for a MRI through them. I got a 3T scan which I believe shows a bit more than a 1.5 scanner which cast me £299. If you can afford it it might be the right choice for you. I would definitely go to these people to have a scan again if I develop another injury.

Everything went ok but if I had one criticism it would be I felt that the surgical area was very busy and needed more nurses . I was left in my room with no one coming in for quite a long time and although offered a coffee after the procedure I eventually had to ring my bell and a Dr came and brought me a coffee . Luckily I am not a nervous patient but if I had been there wasn’t enough contact with nursing staff . They’d appear and say they were going to do something and then disappear and not come back .

I have been twice to see Mr Duncan. Once for an initial consultation and today for a follow up review. I have always found visiting Spire to be relaxed. Mr Duncan is a friendly, kind professional who always has time to sit and listen. He is very knowledgeable and has completely changed my life. That sounds dramatic!! But it’s true. When no one else seemed to listen or care about my condition, Mr Duncan did. Additionally, his secretary is very efficient!! This makes an all round great experience.

The atc was very chaotic ( I can understand as day ward) but lack of info for relatives was bad. Main recovery ward was amazingly caring and sensitive. Can not fault the nurses ( student) on G5 absolutely brilliant. No matter how busy they were always patient and sympathetic. As a parent of a 17 yesr old having major surgery I was comfortable leaving him. The surgeon was also amazing and caring he also made sure to include me ( even though patient classed as adult)

During my appointment, I was recommended a series of creams, and I did purchase them. I was a bit taken aback by the total expense at checkout, as the cost wasn't explicitly mentioned or discussed during our consultation. I was simply asked if I wanted to purchase them here today. It would also have been helpful for me as a patient to understand if there were any alternative products available through NHS, even if they weren't the primary recommendation.

Saw Dr James Thing and must say the experience start to finish was excellent, pinpointed problem areas and carried out scan and targeted areas that were problem and treated, now no longer need splin or pain relief. So much more movement in knees too. Would highly recommend.

A very calm, reassuring and friendly atmosphere. The New Victoria also had the necessary scanning and blood testing facilities just a few steps away from the consultation rooms. The hospital is well served by the 57 bus route but also has facilities for dropping patients off and also limited parking.
