I was referred to the Horder Centre for hip surgery as an NHS patient and the difference between that experience and my experiences in NHS hospitals couldn't have been more different. As it turned out, I also had two brief stays in an NHS hospital at around the same time, and experiencing a busy trauma ward in the Royal Victoria hospital in Brighton was pretty terrible. Unusually, I ended up having to have two operations in Crowborough on the same hip, so I was there for several days in all, and though no one really wants to be in hospital they do make every effort to make your stay as comfortable as possible. You get a single room with a TV (Freeview) and your own en-suite bathroom and fresh towels are brought every day. For a start, the staffing levels were brilliant. Someone was always on hand if I needed pain relief or anything else for that mattter. For every staff shiftI was allocated a care worker and a nurse, all of whom were absolutely lovely. They will help you with anything including a bed-wash or shower and if you have any questions they can't answer themselves they will find someone who can. I was regularly offered pain medication and if I felt I needed some in between rounds I had only to ring the bell beside my bed and I was usually able to have it. The food is good and plentiful and the menu choices provide plenty of variety. The staff who bring round the food as well as a trolley offering hot drinks or fruit juice are cheerful and friendly as well as punctual. Even the housekeeping staff were lovely. Although I'm sure all the staff were busy (for example, the care assistants take care of 6 patients on each shift), no one ever seemed to be under too much pressure and they always had time for a chat. They will arrange transport two and from the hospital if you need it, whether in an ambulance or by car, and even the drivers love working there. Some of the staff I met have worked there for many years, which speaks for itself. If I were referred to the Horder Centre rather than an NHS hospital or further surgery at any point I would feel confident that I would be well taken care of.

I go to alien aesthetics in worcester and i honestly couldn’t recommend them enough they are so amazing and trustworthy ! What I really love is that they will only ever do what’s best for you. They are honest and will tell you if it’s too much for your body to take all at once. They genuinely care about achieving natural , balanced results rather than just saying yes to everything and take your money. Even a colleague at work goes there and a family member and they could not recommend them enough either. We all agree the whole team is so professional and friendly and genuinely care about getting the best and safe results for yourself individually The team make you feel completely comfortable , they explain everything clearly , and genuinely care about your results . Everyone is so friendly and kind to talk to. I always reccomend them to anyone considering getting filler or botox procedures, or anyone who wants a dissolve and to start fresh after bad experiences else where. So many places offer cheap deals but cut corners. Alien aesthetics are so professional, safe , and absolutely worth every penny. I would not choose anywhere else ! and everyone who is choosing to start there journey should honestly spend that extra bit of money and go to alien !!

From the moment I arrived at the hospital early in the morning, I was met with such warmth and professionalism. The receptionist who checked me in was friendly and reassuring, setting the tone for what turned out to be an incredibly positive experience. Every single member of staff I encountered from the porter who kindly took me to my room, to the nurses who introduced themselves and made me feel completely at home. Their kindness, professionalism, and genuine compassion made what could have been a daunting experience feel calm and positive from start to finish. I have had fixed braces and am in the process of finalising my teeth implants with Dr Una so that I will finally have the smile I want. I have found Dr Una to be both technically skilled at her craft and very approachable and caring - ready to answer questions to any degree of depth. My whole treatment program has not been straightforward but she has dealt with it systematically and outcomes have been good. I have had the implants and am now waiting for them to heal so that I can have my crowns in the next 4-6 months. I have confidence in her ability and the way that she works. That was important to me in choosing someone to do my implants which is after all a surgical procedure! From my experience with her I would recommend her.
