I was referred to Genesis by the NHS consultant oncologist to receive radiotherapy and hormone treatment for for my diagnosed advanced prostate cancer. I was seen very quickly at the Newmarket (Cambridge) branch of Genesis. The facilities are modern with state of the art CT and radiotherapy equipment. At all times the staff of all disciplines and specialties were extremely helpful and understanding. After 4 weeks (20 sessions) of radiotherapy my regular attendance finished. However I will continue to have regular reviews there with the oncologist and be given the specialist hormone therapy and other pills to be taken for 2 years. Another impressive feature at Genesis is the inclusion of gym sessions under personal guidance from two expert trainers. This is most helpful in countering the muscle loss resulting from hormone therapy. I am continuing with these sessions for some weeks after completing my treatment. In summary, Genesis Care has provided the highest possible standard of specialist cancer treatment and I would strongly recommend this organisation when radiotherapy treatment is needed.

She was extremely thorough with her diagnostics, explained everything to us very clearly, and guided his recovery in a way that made us feel calm, reassured, and well supported throughout a very stressful time. She was also incredibly generous with her time, answering multiple follow-up questions via email, which was immensely comforting for us as anxious parents. We have been seeing her for over six months now and I would highly recommend her — she is knowledgeable, caring, and someone we trust completely with our child’s care. I would also like to mention Sophie, the clinic manager, who is consistently helpful, professional, and responsive, making the overall experience at the clinic even better.

From the moment I arrived, the staff were incredibly attentive and helpful. They were constantly checking on me to ensure I was comfortable, and they never made me feel rushed; they absolutely made sure I was feeling good and stable before they let me go home. The facility itself was impressively clean, which made me feel much more at ease, and I was pleasantly surprised that the food was actually great! Prof Chris Eden was all that I had been led to believe, understanding and sympathetic but wholly focused and professional. He explained the process and outlined the risks of the proposed surgery in clear layman's language that I could understand.. He did not sugar the pill! He carefully reviewed my medical history and identified several issues upon which he has requested additional investigation. I came away totally confident not only in his personal ability but also in the decisions that I have now made regarding my treatment plan. First impressions are very good.

Had an immigration medical appointment for Australia. I was running late and had to reschedule my AM appointment. Sent an email as the call option was automated message but the email was promptly replied and I was rebooked for the next available PM appointment. It meant I had to wait longer but they were swift to accommodate me and the services from reception to chest X-ray and GP examination was brilliant. I was offered the Polio vaccine and a painless blood tests. Overall I recommend 100%.

The procedure was so quick from the start to finish. Very pleasant staff. The good thing is I wasn't waiting too long so I was straight in & out within an hour & a half. Dr. O'Donnell is very efficient & brilliant at what he does. He is a very nice person very down to earth. Highly recommend him if you're thinking about going to get any type of bein treatment at all. Nothing was awkward at all & I was made to feel very comfortable.

The clinic is easy to find, just off the motorway. I was made a cup of tea when I arrived. The doctor was very pleasant and patient whilst I listed my many and confusing health symptoms. I felt listened to and understood. It was so good to have the time to elaborate in a way that you cannot in a traditional doctor appointment. think we have a plan going forward which will help. Fingers crossed.
