I had knee surgery with Mr Bailey in June of this year. It was my first time being treated by him, despite having had three previous knee surgeries over the past 14 years post a ski accident. Without question, his surgery was the best experience and outcome I’ve ever had. His manner was brilliant, calm, reassuring, and genuinely supportive. I felt completely confident throughout the whole process. My knee has felt the best it has since I was a teenager, before my ski accident. Thanks to his exceptional skill and care, I was able to run a 76-kilometre ultramarathon in November, just five months after surgery and finished in 9 hours and 21 minutes. I consider that an incredible testament to his work. I’m now returning to him for treatment on my other knee and I recommend Mr Bailey to absolutely everyone.

Dec 15 2025 , 6 months after ankle fusion . I was dreading the operation it’s about 2 hours long I didn’t feel a thing I opted for a epidural the operation went well , the recovery isn’t easy boot for 3 months and then gradual weight bare , yes at the beginning it’s sore my fault I don’t do pain killers , I opted for a knee scooter to get around (brilliant) after about 14 weeks I could walk around carefully I did everything by the book and now 6 months on my pain is gone ,I mcan walk about 2miles easily per day . Before the operation I didn’t want to do anything I just wanted to get where ever and sit down as I was in such discomfort for me it was the best decision I have ever made . As for Mr Peter Robinson he a lovely gentleman I would trust him completely . Jeremy R

There was a massive time delay in getting my discharge letter/documents After lots of emails to Binley and Coventry ( possibly some to “ differing addresses “ , I admit ) phone calls ( no call backs as promised) I eventually received an email from Binley with the discharge document attached IT WAS WRONG ! I have asked for another ACCURATE letter I feel “ a look into “ your ADMINISTRATIVE SYSTEMS should be immediately undertaken Angela said she would “ close my file “ , perhaps a shade early considering the happenings By the way your documentation quotes a 15 minute walk from Coventry Railway station to your Binley site …..,…… MORE LIKE AN HOUR ! Tucked away, the clinic had a bright and airy interior. A warm welcome greeted me at the door and I was swiftly directed to reception. Unlike some medical waiting areas it felt comfortable and homely. I noted they had security was at the entrance, which was reassuring. A cheerful receptionist checked me in efficiently. The waiting area was pleasant, offering a variety of hot drinks including still and sparkling water, biscuits and snacks. I asked for a taxi on leaving and the lady at reception explained they didn’t have a direct telephone number, but would get a colleague to wave one down for me. Very thoughtful.

I was thinking about having a breast reduction and tummy tuck for a few years following 3 caesarean births. I phoned river medical, on a friend’s recommendation, and never looked back. Mr Hodgins is highly professional but also very easy to talk to, I didn’t feel embarrassed asking any question. He left no query unanswered or worry unresolved. I am 8 weeks post op now and am absolutely thrilled with the results. They are so much better than I could’ve imagined! My only regret is that I waited so long! If you are thinking about getting this operation, my advice would be to make an appointment with the team

My overall experience was excellent, from the reception staff, being taken to the room, the 1:1 pre-operative discussions with Dr Lowe and Dr Barnard, to the nursing staff (continuity of the nursing staff and Daisy's approach and empathy), the theatre team and the post procedure care. I mentioned to Dr Lowe how impressed I was with the communication between the theatre team, which provided a great deal of confidence. I should also mention how well they communicated with me on a 1:1 basis explaining what they were doing.

My daughter had her tonsils removed here last week. The whole experience was amazing. The room that she was brought too was lovely and so clean . The staff were all so nice and put her at ease . She wasn’t scared at all and didn’t want to leave when it was time to go . I couldn’t recommend this place enough. From the catering staff, nurses , anaesthetist and Dr Greg McBride himself , I couldn’t have asked for a nicer bunch of people to care for my daughter.
