I have been a patient of Dr. Urquhart for several years while working through the long-term effects of complex trauma, late diagnosed neurodivergence and profound life challenges. Through analytical psychotherapy and EMDR, he has helped me find steadiness during some of the most difficult periods of my life. His ability to understand what lies beneath the surface, to hear what isn’t said and recognise what others miss, has been central to my progress. Our work together has also helped me uncover the root causes of physical symptoms I had struggled with for most of my adult life, which no medical practitioner had ever been able to explain. Since addressing these issues in therapy, these episodes have significantly reduced. What I value most is his calm, steady presence and his deep understanding of human needs. Perhaps for the first time in my life, I'm beginning to meet myself, and learning to accept myself for who I am. The transition to Mourne Private Clinic has been seamless. The staff are warm, organised and professional, creating an environment that supports the therapeutic work beautifully. Dr Bhattacharyya recently carried out surgery on my left knee involving PCL reconstruction with an allograft and repair on my medial ligament at Ross Hall Hospital in Glasgow. His initial assessment and advice of my injury was thorough, easy to understand, and really helped me feel prepared and confident going into the procedure. Everything about the surgery and procedure he was undertaking was explained clearly, including what to expect and how to manage the days leading up to surgery. The surgery itself went well with no complications. Post-op, the guidance and reassurance I have received so far has been excellent. The explanations about recovery, mobility, and rehabilitation were practical and supportive, which made a big difference in helping me navigate the early stages of recovery. I’m three months post surgery, the wound has healed very well and the knee is recovering great. My mobility is continuing to improve and I’m very pleased with how things have went. I’d like to thank Dr Bhattacharyya for the high level of care, professionalism, and expertise and that has made what could have been a stressful experience much easier.

The food is world-class, with a wide range of options and affordances for those with dietary restrictions. The suite of experiential options will introduce you to new therapeutic experiences, many of which you may take away with you. The curriculum is focussed and has real depth, and is taught by professionals with real experience of addiction. The clinical staff are wonderfully attentive and caring, and will move mountains to make you comfortable. I am so pleased to have made the decision to stay at Delamere and would recommend it whole heartedly to anyone who wants to make a change.

As per usual every part of my visit is very professional and all the communication is prompt and informative, it is good to receive a copy of the progress. My last visit was on Saturday 6th December and it was a review of the laser treatment on my left eye - I was delighted when the review confirmed that the pressure on my eye had fallen to normal - this was a 50% reduction. I only had to put one eye drop at night. This was very professional and I have a six monthly review in my diary for 2026. I would have no problems at all in recommending Cathedral Eye Clinic.

I had a cancellation MRI which might explain why I wasn’t sure what to do. Had to wait 30 mins. Mobile units were ok but slightly disorganised. Reception lady was very professional but man who took over wasn’t easy to understand. I had to ask him about clothing to take off. I wasn’t told to remove my boots until I entered MRI room. He and another man got me into the unit but when I was pulled out some way through there was someone different which was strange. However this woman was very nice and kind.
