I visited the hospital to see an orthopaedic surgeon after having a fall at work and damaging my knee. I have had issue with it since the accident I suffered at work.I was advised to lodge a claim with my employers insurance. This I did because of the problems I am having with my knee. I was sent to see this gentleman so he could assess the damage to my knee. I was treated as if I was only there because I was lodging a claim and to have recompense for the damage I suffered and still am. He seemed very abrupt and I felt as though I was cross examined over the form I had filled in regarding my injury. I left the room feeling like I had done something extremely bad and wrong. I have never had to go through this scenario and very much hope not to have to go through another. I am a patient who has an injury that I am advised my a consultant needs an operation yet I was treated though I was feigning injury. I do not feel valued having attend at the one hospital.

Mr Edward Pringle

I was seen by Mr Pringle this afternoon, for nearly half an hour. From the outset his attitude was one of calm professionalism. He took great care to explain to me in layman's language what the problem was with my left eye. He employed several complex-looking machines with which to examine the eye, and was comfortingly expert in the way that he described exactly what he was doing at each juncture. He seemed to understand my nervousness at having large machines very close to my injured and vulnerable eye. He was able to put me at my ease; and, he managed to keep me at my ease - which for a nervous soul like me, was just so important. At the end of the session I felt I knew what my problem was, and I understood what the prognosis and the likely timescale were. In conclusion, I can't rate Mr Pringle too highly.

I attended Spencer Ashford Hospital which was easy to find and was able to park nearby in the carpark using a Blue Badge displayed. Access was at ground level with no steps. Reception staff greeted me straight away and booked me in, provided necessary to complete my procedure. Toilets were easily accessed just off Reception and there is a water machine free. All staff including the medical team that I saw were engaging, jovial yet professional. The atmosphere was calm and relaxing with about three patients waiting. Mr Georgios Papadopoulos explained the procedure that I was undergoing in depth and was unrushed and very calm and inquired whether I had questions. His team were as fantastic ensuring that I was at ease throughout. At no point did I feel under pressure to leave after the procedure.

I was recently referred to The Alexandra hospital as an NHS patient for a left hip replacement. I was very nervous as I have a rare genetic condition called 'Nail Patella Syndrome' which affects my bones and my previous, right hip replacement was complicated when my femur broke during surgery. Mr Phaltankar was wonderful. He explained everything to me and was a real gentleman. The surgery was a huge success using a different, smaller prosthetic. I would highly recommend Mr Phaltankar. I cannot thank him enough for sorting out my very painful left hip. I would also like to add that being at 'The Alex' for this surgery was a fabulous experience. The care I received throughout was second to none. I could not have received better care.

I was extremely happy with the hospital and the level of care I received. From the moment I arrived, all of the nurses and staff were kind, professional, and incredibly attentive. I felt genuinely well looked after at every stage before and after surgery. The nursing team made me feel comfortable, reassured, and supported, always checking in on me and making sure I had everything I needed. Their calm and caring approach made a big difference and helped me feel at ease throughout my stay. The hospital environment was clean, well organised, and very reassuring, and the overall standard of care was excellent. I am truly grateful to the entire team and would highly recommend this hospital to anyone undergoing treatment or surgery.

I was seen promptly at my appointment time. I was given the opportunity to provide a detailed history of my problem. During this time Mr Jowett also requested further information which combined with a very thorough physical examination allowed him to make his diagnosis. Mr Jowett was clear in his explanation and gave me the opportunity to ask questions. At the end the consultation I felt confident that we had discussed all relevant details. I then quickly received a letter confirming Mr Jowett's findings. Overall I am extremely satisfied with the entire process and Mr Jowett's valuable guidance.

We feel very honoured to have Dr Shebani as our Daughters Cardiologist, she has been with us on the full journey from fetal to present (16years) As a parent having a child with a heart condition it can be very daunting. We have received the best care possible and Dr Shebani truly has been outstanding in her presence, care giving, explaining everything to us in a way we all understand. Making sure our daughter has the best care and we trust her whole heartedly . My girl would not be the girl she is today without her. As a family we cannot thank Dr Shebani enough and she is a credit to the NHS.

Apart from a reception that were unaware of their visitors - the building and facilities were excellent. Dr. Bradley is a practitioner who has a broad grasp of all areas of HRT treatment. Her extensive knowledge makes you feel very confident about the decisions you make with the doctors assistance. She is never rushed and allows extensive discussion about past and present research. I am extremely impressed by her professionalism. I left after my consultation feeling I had explored all the areas I had questions about but came away with a lot of new information.

Mr Manjure and his team were outstanding. I felt safe, secure and confident in the whole team. From pre surgery appointment, hospital admission and post surgery review everything was just perfect. I was quite nervous prior to have a full knee replacement but the whole process was not as traumatic as I’d been led to believe from other non professionals. I’m surprised at how the wound has healed and how small it actually is. I would highly recommend Mr Manjure and. His team at Manor Hospital.
