Dr Ahran Arnold

Dr Ahran Arnold is a Consultant Cardiologist with a special interest in heart rhythm disorders (arrhythmias). They assess and treat patients with symptoms of arrhythmia. Dr Arnold is an internationally recognised academic and Senior Lecturer. Their research portfolio focuses on innovations and mechanisms of pacing for cardiomyopathy. Dr Arnold collaborates with academics globally to deliver innovative research improving our treatments for, and understanding of, arrhythmias.

Dr Arnold completed their undergraduate medical training at Imperial College London in 2010 with an intercalated BSc in Neuroscience and Mental Health. They have held full GMC registration since 2011. Dr Arnold undertook postgraduate medical training in London from 2010 to 2024 at Central Middlesex, Northwick Park, Chelsea & Westminster, King's College, Royal Brompton, Charing Cross, St Mary's and Hammersmith Hospitals. During this time, they attained Membership of the Royal College of Physicians (MRCP) in 2012 and gained accreditation in cardiac devices (ECDS Level 1) in 2019. They also completed their PhD in innovations and mechanisms of pacing for cardiomyopathy at Imperial College London. Alongside cardiology training, they carried out post-doctoral research into the treatment of arrhythmias as an NIHR Clinical Lecturer and was appointed a Senior Lecturer in Cardiology at Imperial College London in 2024.
