I went to OSD Hemel Hempstead to get my cast removed following my rhinoplasty. When we got there, we were taken straight to the room & were left there for about 20mins for the nurse to find the equipment, upon her return the appointment was rushed and no information was provided for my aftercare. I was asking many questions however, she seemed reluctant to answer any (as simple as, how long do I need to tape for - she couldn’t answer). Following a conversation with my surgeons direct nurse, I found out that the nurse at OSD had not taped my nose correctly, nor removed the glue from my face. I felt rushed out of the appointment & not very well looked after. My surgeon came to review my nose post cast removal which was reassuring & he mentioned that the OSD nurse would provide me with all the information I’d need - she did not.

Dr Laura takes her time to explain everything to me, and she even manages to teach me some medical stuff considering I am a medical student! She is always keen to involve my family and ensure I am fully supported. She has helped me navigate several gynaecology conditions that I have recently been investigated for and diagnosed with. She continues to follow up with me and ensure I am well looked after. She looks at me from head to toe and listens to each of my concerns, no matter what they are, with compassion. She is a true angel who I was blessed with to have as my doctor. I will always sing her praises she is truly phenomenal. I am beyond lucky to have her looking after me. She is my inspiration for when I graduate and become a doctor.

Overall experience with Dorset Heart Clinic is excellent. We telephoned to book the appointment and able to choose the time that is convenient to us. As a self funded patient, the appointment is very speedy. Administrator is also very informative and helpful including parking. The consultation is very informative and reassuring. We have chosen to see the consultant that we have seen via the NHS as he would be familiar with our condition. The emails followed up also very quick and timely with the consultation report for us to keep for our records. Any concerns have been dealt with swiftly. I was seeking a progress review as I was 6 weeks into a 12 week treatment plan and wanted to know that things were on track. I was offered a catch up appointment or a tel con review, either to occur within the hour but I agreed to send in some photo's via email. I received a call back from Mr Sidloff within 10 minutes of emailing him in which he was able to reassure me that all looked fine and there was no need for me to see him before the end of Jan 2026, unless I had a concern. So, 10 out of 10 for the speed and helpfulness of his response.

I would rate it 10 out of 10 the staff were so friendly and helpful couldnt do enough the dr i saw dr mamidanna was loverly and very efficient i couldnt believe how well i was treated there i expected a long wait but might have sat in the waiting room for 5 min max then after my appointment saw a loverly lady in the ultrasound department who got me an appointment that could have been the enxt day but i couldnt make it so took the one the day after everyone was so nice a polite it was such a great experience so thank you

I had a cancellation MRI which might explain why I wasn’t sure what to do. Had to wait 30 mins. Mobile units were ok but slightly disorganised. Reception lady was very professional but man who took over wasn’t easy to understand. I had to ask him about clothing to take off. I wasn’t told to remove my boots until I entered MRI room. He and another man got me into the unit but when I was pulled out some way through there was someone different which was strange. However this woman was very nice and kind.

When I went in for the viscual assessment she came and introduced herself again. Which was nice she did but never had too.
