I had two day surgery appointments for cataract removal and lens implants, two weeks apart. The first appointment was very straightforward from walking through the door to post operative discharge. The second appointment was less straightforward: despite me being first on the day’s list there was a long wait before my pre-operative assessment. When I was being prepped before going into theatre, the atmosphere in the room was not calm and reassuring, unlike the first time. There was sometimes discomfort during the procedures of anaesthetic and application of the opthalmic speculum, the latter of which has left me with a markedly arched eyebrow on that side, which is only returning to normal after nearly two weeks. As a result I felt tense entering the theatre. Everyone in the theatre was calm and reassuring however, and I was quickly put at ease. I had a positive post operative experience before being allowed home.

My experience was first class. I went in feeling pretty low, anxious, exhausted and simply feeling I had hit a brick wall with how I was trying to manage my menopause symptoms. It was just such a relief to have a professional listen to me fully, be extremely understanding and very kind, but also be able to offer easy and manageable solutions and a proper plan going forward. I just felt such a weight off my shoulders (which I hadn't fully realised how stressed out I actually was). I left after that first appointment happier and more calm than I have been in a while. My appointment was with Dr Natasha Davidson. She was so friendly and really helpful to me. She helped me like no other doctor has. She has sent my GP a letter to prescribe the medications Metformin and Provera. I have been to so many appointment explaining that I have no periods but no one has helped me until Dr Davidson. She also explained in detail PCOS for me and discussed my fertility issues with me. She has said I should book in for an Ultrasound to check the lining of my womb. She made sure I left the appointment with all questions answered. Thank you so much

The reception staff on the ground floor are very professional and helpful A couple of the ladies on the 3rd floor are not so professional, it’s happened a few times during my visits over the past 6 months were they can be heard moaning between themselves about patients being sent up early from the ground floor reception, I can only imagine them moaning about me arriving 40mins early, hence why I opted to stay on the ground floor reception until nearer my time slot This doesn’t involve the lady who works directly for Ali, she is more than helpful

I found the reception staff rude - I always felt rushed at the clinic and another friend the same. This is a private clinic the service was awful Dr Sunil was very knowledgeable and I got the results I wanted but not sure I would go back or ever recommend it as I just felt the service let the whole place down I also got a blister from the tape that was put on my back from the patch test - that looks like it might scar!
