I had a diagnosis of prostate cancer at my local NHS hospital. I found the interview cursory and superficial. I was given a handbook containing my Gleason score; this also detailed various treatment options. I was told that I would be put on surveillance for PSA levels. When I read the handbook I wanted to know more about HIFU - not available on the NHS (?) even though it was in the handbook. It also stated that there was a factsheet available with more info. There is no such factsheet at my NHS hospital. So onto the WWW and found Mr Doherty. He had my MRI scan reviewed by a recognised radiologist and told me that I was not suitable for HIFU in a telephone consultation. This was conducted in a helpful and measured way and followed by a letter. After some consideration, I had other concerns and asked to speak to Mr Doherty again. This was arranged quickly and my queries dealt with professionally. again with a follow up letter. I am now much better informed on my treatment options. Nothing but good things to say about Mr Doherty!

I have been under the care of Mr Fitzgerald for a number of years since he successfully replaced an index finger MCP joint. Since then he has successfully treated me for multiple issues including injections for ring triggers and little finger flexor tendon sheath injections. All of these treatments have taken place at the Spire hospital in Didsbury. These treatments have enabled me to continue playing competitive golf successfuly and also continue to lead an active involvment in my garden. This is done as well as continuing to work full time despite being in my 82nd year. His advice has been very sound on all occasions and I would abslutely have no hesitaion in reccommending him to anyone requiring assistance and advice. In particular he conducts our meetings in a professional, very thorogh and personal manner.

I had a really positive experience during my hospital stay. From the moment I arrived, the staff were welcoming, kind, and made me feel at ease. The level of care I received was excellent—everyone was attentive, professional, and always willing to help. All the staff took the time to check in regularly, answer my questions, and make sure I was comfortable throughout from the catering to the nursing staff were fantastic. My room was very clean, the ward was well-organised, and had a calm, reassuring atmosphere, which made a big difference during recovery. I could even sleep through the night here!! Overall, I felt genuinely cared for and supported every step of the way. I’m very grateful for the experience and would highly recommend.

I went to see Dr Philips for ongoing GI issues, and I had a really positive experience from start to finish. He took the time to go through all my symptoms in detail and explained everything clearly in a way that was easy to understand, which really helped ease my anxiety. I was admitted on 18th April 2026 for a HoLEP procedure, which was performed by Mr Adam Cox, and stayed in the hospital for one night. The surgery itself was excellent, and I felt completely confident in the care I received throughout. I’m very grateful to Mr Adam Cox for his professionalism and skill, as well as to the nursing staff who were supportive, attentive, and reassuring during my stay. Their care made a real difference, especially during my overnight recovery. Overall, I had a very positive experience, the operation was a 100% success and would highly recommend the team to anyone undergoing a similar procedure.

From our first consultation with Mr Rudd prior to our son’s adenotonsillectomy we were reassured. Our concerns were validated and listened to, all our options were clearly explained and all the risks and benefits outlined in detail. Mr Rudd was excellent with our son who can often be quite shy, being that he is only 3 years old. We saw Mr Rudd prior to and post our son’s surgery and we knew exactly what to expect with his recovery. The difference in our son is astounding, his recovery was textbook and straight forward. The doctor is very professional and kind. He listened carefully to my son and showed real understanding. He explained the situation very clearly and took action immediately—something that many other doctors and GPs at other practices haven’t done in over a year, despite my child having ongoing symptoms and us actively searching for someone who understands the problem. Arrival to the clinic is so easy! Forbury has its own onsite parking just seconds from entrance, making life really easy. A warm welcome from all members of staff helps to reduce any stress. Consultant is interested and listens - considers and discusses my various issues / concerns. Appointments do not feel rushed, or that you are 'one of many'. Admin team are just as helpful and will do their very best to fit round busy schedules to ensure appointments are mutually convenient. A great experience - leave feeling reassured and heard!

I attended DRI for a consultation following an operation on 5/2/26 for Haglands Lump removal. Mr Abbidfin told me that the heel had healed well and that I was no longer in need of the boot. I was sent for an X-ray before being discharged. I was told that I should exercise the anlkle to regain movement and to use a heel wedge in shoes for the present. He also gave me a six month open appointment just in case things did not go to plan for which I am extremely grateful, I have been more than happy with Mr Abbiddin.

I had a very comfortable and welcoming experience yesterday. The environment was very good. Would recommend this Centre and staff to anybody needing Yag treatment. This morning my left eye is so good it makes me think about asking them to do my right eye. The right eye is not too bad but I think it might be a good idea to ask them to give this the Yag treatment.
