I arrived with a long list of questions, and she answered each one patiently and thoughtfully, never rushing, never minimising anything, and always making me feel heard. What impressed me most was the sense of reassurance she provided throughout the entire consultation. Dr Ismail has a rare ability to make you feel completely safe, supported, and confident that you are in the very best hands. I feel that she would never allow a patient to leave without feeling fully at ease, fully informed, and with a clear understanding of the treatment plan and next steps. Having finally decided I needed to do something about my bunion I was referred to Miss Lauren Thomson. She was clearly focused on finding the best solution to match the way I live my life, which includes walking and exercising regularly. She explained very clearly her recommended surgical approach which immediately made me feel I could trust her entirely to operate in my best interests. She spent time to explain exactly what the procedure would entail, how to prepare for it and what to expect regarding recovery. There was plenty of opportunity to ask questions. The procedure went exactly according to plan and at every step I felt very confident that Miss Thomson was doing a great job with her combination of professionalism, knowledge & experience alongside her ability to communicate and connect with me as a human being. I wish now that I had had the bunion attended to earlier as I had put up with it until the point where my right foot was virtually unshoeable and my gait was causing pain in my right knee and hip. 8 weeks after the operation I am getting back to normal activities and wearing shoes without discomfort.

I honestly can’t recommend the fertility suite enough. Rebecca has been an absolute god send. I have been battling with pcos for years and the nhs refusing to help as my partner has a child from a previous relationship. I’ve been trying to help heal my body with information online but there are so many different opinions and advice and it became very overwhelming. From the start Rebecca has been friendly, empathetic and a great listener. I come out of my appointments feeling so relaxed and feel like I’ve just had a therapy session. She really understands what I’m going through. As well as Rebecca being amazing with the emotional side, she has helped me reduce my cycles from 77 and 79 days to 30/32 day cycles and now I am showing signs of ovulation, which I had only experienced once before. I know with her support the pregnancy will follow soon! She is great and always at the end of the phone/email for guidance and advice on what supplements to take and what to work on! I had a Teams meeting today with Angela about my nutrition, as I’m looking for ways to gain weight. She was completely non judgemental, incredibly warm, and made me feel comfortable throughout the whole conversation. She never made me feel bad about my eating habits and was very kind and understanding in the way she worked with me. She gave me really sound advice and clear, practical feedback on how I can improve things going forward, particularly around healthy weight gain. I wasn’t sure what to expect going into the meeting. I half expected to be told to cut out lots of foods and start eating things I didn’t like but instead, she took the time to understand what I like and don’t like to eat. Overall, she was extremely helpful, supportive, and approachable, and I genuinely appreciated the session. I thought she was great.

RTN Mental Health - Right To Choose

Trying to book the appointment for the video interview for the autism assessment was very frustrating as there were often no slots available and I had to keep trying numerous times before I got an appointment. One of the reasons I have used RTN for Right to Choose was because the details for RTN showed that it would take 10 weeks to receive a diagnosis. It took nearly a year to get the autism assessment and a year later I am still waiting to receive the ADHD report, although I have received a verbal diagnosis. It was good to be given a verbal diagnosis at the end of the ADHD video interview and to have a discussion about the next steps to find out if medicineI is an option. However it is going to take even longer to find out about medication.

I arranged a consultation with Mr Aho (within 1 week of my first call) following which I decided to have the HoLEP done (one month later). My experience at The Princess Grace could not have been better, from the moment I walked through the door. The facility is first class, and the people were even better. The op has been a complete, life-changing, success: Not only has my urinary flow returned to that of a teenager, I have experienced no side effects, my ejaculation is stronger than before, and I am sleeping so much better. In short, choosing to work with Mr Aho was a great decision and I am delighted with the outcome.

Had shoulder surgery as a day case, all went really well. 8 weeks later I was still in considerable pain and went for follow up appointment with Mr Jain. He fully explained what had been done to my shoulder and showed me photographs taken during the operation and said that the pain I was in was to be expected bearing in mind how much work I’d had done. His words gave me more confidence to move my arm more than I had been doing and four weeks later I’ve now been signed off and have great flexibility in my arm, most importantly of all pain-free flexibility.

When in 2nd floor private area do not expect trappings of luxury or flashy equipment. You do get kindness, attentiveness and skill and efficiency. Came out with problem fixed. No cafe.
