I have had Cataract operations to both eyes January-March 2025. Things didn't start well when the Surgeon, in a 'telephone consultation' with me, committed to a price for the new lenses I would get. This was later overruled by the Management who told me the Surgeon didn't have the authority to agree a price with me. So I had to pay quite a bit more than I was originally told. As in some £400 per eye more. Amusing to observe how the 'care' (on the NHS, but sub-contracted to this private business) was promoted as being 'Exactly the same as Private Medical Care'. Oh no it wasn't ...it was much better. Once I was flagged up as 'potentially suitable for a PRIVATE operation' using Implants that were 'Not available on the NHS' I was treated very different. Previously done examinations were repeated 'to be sure'. Does that mean they are not sure if you are a NHS Patient? ;). Additional examinations 'not available on the NHS' were done. Am I being unfair? A short review would just say this: *Generally excellent professional friendly staff. * Medical care excellent. But.... Appointment waiting times need reviewing - I have always had to wait at least 45 min, sometimes more than on hour, before being seen. Why? If you depend on a relative or friend to drop you off and pick you up it sometimes got a bit difficult: Is this appointment going to take 30 Min, or 4 hours? Nobody knows. Admin/organization sometimes a bit confused - Why did I get an email survey for my right eye, and not for my left? Waiting in the corridor between different checks in different rooms a bit of a hit and miss - staff running around, folders being handed over, people sitting and waiting being missed, the order in which things were done got a bit confused sometimes, patients reminding passing nurses that others who arrived after them were seen before them. But all with good humor! But, in the end, I can see excellent again with both eyes - and that is what is really important.

The Clinic was a little difficult to find but once there the staff were excellent and very efficient. My appointment was on time and the waiting area was warm and comfortable. The consultant was very helpful and explained everything and answered all my questions. I wasn’t rushed or meant to feel unimportant. The nurse was helpful and reassuring. There had been an administrative problem that I had mentioned to the lady on arrival and that was completely sorted out by the time I left which was extremely efficient. I will have no hesitation on returning for a procedure in the near future. An excellent clinic

All professionals on all levels, be it administration, psychiatrists, health care professionals etc, have all been extremely empathetic, kind, respectful and efficient. I felt safe and able to trust all members of staff during all interactions I've had. Sometimes organisation wasn't always perfect such as informant questionnaires seemingly getting lost and causing delays and my assessment being double booked requiring a last minute rescheduling, but any problems were dealt with efficiently.

Mr Parmar was warm, professional and put me and my family at ease. I have struggled with getting support elsewhere and suspected a tongue tie but it finally felt as if someone was listening to me about our issues. The procedure was really quick and my baby was calm.and happy after one minute. Would recommend wholeheartedly to anyone having any issues with breastfeeding. My son is so happy now and making much cuter noises now he can move his tongue!

I saw Mr Sikander for a cervical disc protrusion and related pain and paresthesia. He was warm and welcoming, looked through my images and offered easy to understand explanation. He also discussed the timeline and options for management. He was polite and listened to all my concerns patiently. As a fellow doctor, I found him very professional and pleasant to talk to.

The operation went exactly as the surgeon had described in our pre-op meeting, as did the post-op care. Since then (5 weeks ago), the recovery has gone well, exactly as per the advice summary issued as part of the post-op care . There have been no ill-effects or discomfort since the opo and I look forward to getting back to my normal outdoor activities.

I just want to say how good my experience was and what a success the decompression has been. Super efficient and super helpful staff. Perhaps the only thing I could say is that there may be too many check-in receptions and at busy times slightly understaffed on certain desks. But overall, the team were super friendly and helpful and I never felt I had to wait too long.
