It is six months now since Mr Campanna did my hip replacement and everything is working fine. All healed up and only some scar tissue deep within the joint is still making its presence felt, but it is not in any way painful. I grew up in the 1950s when school dentists were a breed to be feared, and consequently have always been very frightened of having any operation, but there is nothing to be frightened of at all. I had an epidural and felt nothing at all. You must do your exercises though. You definitely need plenty of care before the operation and afterwards. If you have a good partner who will look after you and make you do what you should it will be much the better for your recovery. I would ask for Mr Campanna if I needed anything like that again. Nice man. Skilled operator. Thank you sir.

I had 8 'bits and pieces' (moles etc) removed by Elaine Agius on 17 November at the Moorgate Centre, ably supported by two nurses (April and one other - sorry, didn't catch her name). The whole exercise was incredibly efficient and carried out in an obviously super-clean, sterile environment. 'Doc' Agius was wholly professional, with a caring 'bedside-manner' eg she provided helpful, accurate and reassuring 'warnings/prompts' prior to every single one of her procedures (including the frequent and slightly cool sterilisation wipe-downs). This avoided any surprises and instilled instant confidence in the guy under the knife. Thank you for a relatively enjoyable experience - I would strongly recommend that team and venue to anyone thinking of having similar treatment.

From start to finish Mr Dimitri was incredibly professional explaining the procedure very clearly along with all my options. Carys was very kind and caring ensuring I understood everything and reassuring me that I could get in touch with her at any time if I had any questions or if I needed anymore information. On the day of the procedure I was very anxious but both Mr Dimitri and Carys put me completely at ease. The procedure itself was absolutely fine ~ there was nothing to be nervous about at all, Carys was lovely and chatted to me the whole time while Mr Dimitri performed the operation. I honestly cannot praise Mr Dimitri enough, his care and expertise is outstanding and the results of my operation are amazing. I only wish I’d had it done years ago.

I have just attended a post op review with my consultant. From receptionist to radiographer ( review xray ) to consultant all staff were welcoming , friendly and empathetic. The time waiting to be seen was minimal and each staff member was efficient and ensured the visit was without issue and all concerns were addressed . Mr Islam, my consultant ,discussed In detail my postop xray and listened to my experience of recovery with interest and empathy - allowing me to tell him anything that had concerned me. My post op recovery status was assessed and encouragement given for further progress with a one year review planned . I left the appointment completely satisfied that I had treated by a person with the highest level of skill and professional attitude.

The visit on the day was good. However communication/admin beforehand was rather confused. Incorrect mention of the need for a perioperational assessment, incorrect date in one email. In addition a completed registration firm was requested yesterday (2 days after the operation) when one had already been provided on the day of the operation.
