I had an incredibly positive experience at Delamere and I’m very grateful for my time there which has been transformative. The programme is extremely well structured and thoughtfully designed - a really well-rounded mix of therapy, group work, education and peer support. The staff are kind, dedicated and create a safe, supportive environment where real change feels possible. I want to give special thanks to Mark, my therapist, and Gary, my mentor. Their honesty and approach made a huge difference to my recovery. I felt seen, challenged in the right ways, and supported to build real clarity and confidence. I made meaningful progress and left feeling stronger, clearer and had regained hope for the future. The only area I feel could be improved is the level of psychiatric support. During my stay, patients were offered one 15-minute appointment with the psychiatrist, which felt brief especially for those with more complex mental health needs. I would have valued more collaboration and communication around medication decisions. Strengthening this aspect of care would make an already excellent programme even better. Overall, I’m extremely thankful for my time at Delamere and would definitely recommend the centre to others seeking recovery support.

Considering i am a private patient very Dissapointed. 1. I was contacted after making the initial appointment asking where i had my MRI scans. I gave the lady all details only to be contacted again the next day stating they could'nt locate them. I then gave them more comprehensive details and was assured if any issues i would be contacted. I attended the practice for the consultation on 27/11/25 only to be told by Mr. Bacon we could not proceed as he did not have my scans. I proceeded to to ask for the pre med tests during which an anneasatist was very rude to me because unfortunatly i have a needle phobea. 2. Prior to the operation i rang to ask that during the operation day is there somewhere for my partner[ ie. in the ward room etc] and informed yes. She was informed on arrival at 6.30am with me that she was not allowed on the ward until 6pm . We had travelled 80miles to the hospital that day. If we had been informed prior too alternatve arrangements could have been made for her.

Today I attended an appointment to see Mr Jawad Freites, on arrival of my appointment he made me feel very comfortable and at easy with a safe space speak to about my concerns I had been have for around 2.5 years now, he was very understanding and carried out a thorough consultation and examination to enable me to get some answers to move forward with the correct treatment required, I would like to again comment on how Mr Jawad throughout my appointment explained everything to me and again made me feel at complete ease. At the end of my appointment I had got all the answers I had been trying to find along with a full understanding and plan on what was going to happen next and what my treatment options would be. I could not have asked for a more knowledgeable consultant I felt Mr Jawad was extremely knowledgeable in his field and I could not recommend him enough. I felt very heard and understood today and I am looking very positive for my treatment moving forward.

I arrived circa 15min before my appointment time as requested and was greeted courteously by the reception staff before being lead to an examination room to undergo a basic check of my eyesight and health check/questionnaire. On retuning to the waiting area I was almost immediately greeted by Mr Bhargava. The consolation was just 5min after the appointment time, which is excellent. The consultation was thorough and very professional, Mr Bhargava has a very good manner and following questioning and examination explained all the parameters relevant to my condition. Mr Bhargava then went on to detail treatment and advice in a concise but detailed way covering all aspects very well. I left feeling that the visit was well worthwhile and that I had been treated well in all aspects of the consolation. I would have no hesitation in recommending Mr Bhargava to friends and colleagues.

Dr Usman Maqsood

After seeing Dr Maqsood with my parents to get a second opinion today on my mom’s breathing, we had an excellent meeting, we all came out of there thinking this time we are finally on the road of getting some answers. Dr Maqsood is referring my mom back to the NHS and GP for further tests. We felt listened too and he gave us his professional opinion. I wish we had hospital insurance , as I felt my mom was in great hands today and we would get answers and finally we would get to the bottom of my moms health problems. He didn’t rush us and was very experienced. I would definitely recommend Dr Maqsood as this doctor gave us full support and help today in our meeting. Hopefully with his report to my moms GP my mom will be getting the help and tests she needs. Thanks again Dr Maqsood.

This is truly a very pleasant clinic. All staff put you at ease and treat you very well. I had an upper endoscopy performed by Dr Craig Mowat. He is a really patient, polite and conscientious professional man who listened to my concerns and talked me through them. He was very thorough and suggested how I could relive my symptoms mean time until my procedure, which was only a few weeks later. He explained exactly what would happen. The experience was very calm and I was put at ease. Dr Mowat told me of his findings immediately after the procedure and called me to discuss biopsy results a couple of weeks later. The whole experience was calm and quickly put my fears to rest. Thank you very much for lifting a huge weight off my mind - I can now get back to enjoying life!

I cannot thank Mr. Niall Sullivan enough for the excellent care I received throughout my hip replacement journey. From the very beginning to the end, his professionalism, skill, and genuine care were outstanding. What really set him apart was his dedication. Niall came in every single day whilst I was in hospital to check on me, even on Sunday, which meant so much and was incredibly reassuring. He always took the time to explain things clearly, answer questions, and make sure I was comfortable and confident in my recovery. I felt truly looked after at every stage, and the standard of care was exceptional. I would highly recommend Mr. Sullivan to anyone considering hip replacement surgery. An outstanding consultant and a credit to his profession.

St Giles Physiotherapy provided excellent care for my painful wrist, and I would highly recommend them to anyone needing physiotherapy in Northampton. From the outset Georgia understood my issue which meant we could maximize the appointment time for hands-on treatment. She used a variety of different techniques during the session, which made the treatment feel thorough and targeted rather than one‑dimensional. I was also given clear follow-up advice and tailored exercises to continue at home, which has really helped my recovery between appointments. Everyone I dealt with at the clinic was caring, friendly and genuinely interested in helping me, which made the whole experience feel very supportive as well as professional.

Unfortunately my high blood pressure caused some problems and delayed the first cataract operation to my left eye, after 4-5 weeks weeks I had surgery on my first eye and 5-6 weeks later my second eye was done. Without exception all of the staff I met at Newmedica were friendly, helpful, and very caring. The consultant who carried out the procedure on both eyes (Mr. Kamran Khan) took the time to explain the procedure and answer my questions. During the procedures he was reassuring and calmly explained what was happening. Both procedures were carried out successfully and my sight is so much better now. I would like to give a big thank you to Mr Kamran Khan and his team for all the care and attention I received.

Mr Green has carefully explained the procedure, answered my many questions and reassured me about any worries. From our first meeting I was impressed with his professionalism, attitude and knowledge. Total right hip replacement, felt reassured before, during and after the surgery. Tony was honest about the surgery and totally professional but the outcome has exceeded expectations I feel like a new person. Please put any doubt aside about this surgery, it’s gonna be tough for two weeks but once you reach the other side of that you have cracked it, and after six weeks you won’t believe the journey you have been on. Do the exercises as much as possible, keep moving on those crutches and look forward to a better life.

Initially I was very unsure about my condition, however, Mr. Turner provided reassurance that the condition of my hand could be fixed. Tests were carried out over the following month then surgery was suggested. The operation proved to be very successful and, despite being prepared for subsequent pain, I did not experience either pain nor discomfort at any point. Further to the surgery, Mr. Turner and colleagues provided after-care which was reassuring, professional and continued to ensure a speedy recovery.

The clinic is lovely and all the osteopaths I’ve consulted with have been amazing. Bella Eacott is great for general osteopathy, Emma Delalex has helped me with craniosacral therapy and Gervais Roubeix has managed to release loads of muscular tensions with dry needling and general osteopathy. I highly recommend Butterfield Osteopathy.

The doctor was 8 mins late *(with no apology for the late running( and them seemed to have a different idea of why i was there to me - he thought he was just assessing skin tags rather than removing - and then said he didnt have time to remove them - yet he was the one running late. I will come for the follow up but after that will never use this practice again.

I went for a sigmoidoscopy procedure at the ECEC just before Christmas. I was slightly nervous about having this procedure done but couldn’t have been put at anymore ease by the staff there. The consultant, those carrying out the procedure and nursing staff were extremely helpful and friendly. I can’t thank them enough for making the whole experience bearable.
