I first saw Dr Dobson in mid-June after realising, at the ripe age of 44, that I was showing clear signs of perimenopause. My NHS GP wasn't taking my concerns seriously at all. I was basically told I was too young and should try meditation. (Not sure how that's meant to help with night sweats, but there we are). From the minute I sat down with Dr Dobson, the experience was completely different. He was patient, thorough, and most importantly, he actually listened. He took my symptoms seriously and helped me figure out what mattered most to improve my day-to-day life. We agreed on a treatment plan and a clear follow-up process, which immediately gave me a lot more confidence. At my first review, he quickly identified what was and wasn't working and adjusted the medication without any fuss. During my final consultation, he even noticed something I'd brushed off as insignificant (a bit of irritation from the adhesive on the HRT patch) and explained that I didn't have to tolerate it. He offered an alternative straight away. It sounds small, but it really showed how much he pays attention and genuinely wants your treatment to work properly, not "good enough", which as women we learn to do with our health at a very young age. I've now been handed back to my NHS GP for the ongoing prescription, which is exactly the outcome I hoped for. I wouldn't hesitate to go back to Dr Dobson in future if I needed to. He made a stressful and frankly dismissive experience elsewhere feel manageable, and I'm really grateful for that.

You never feel rushed they make sure you understand what’s happening and that you’re comfortable throughout your visit. Dr. Mackay is one of those rare doctors who with knowledge, experience, interst and genuine warmth. It is always lovely to meet with her, She takes care of her patients very well and peronally. Every consultation feels warm and personal. I was diagnosed with Psoriatic Arthritis at the age of 26. She cautght it very very early and picking it up so early on, I must say - she is exceptionally talented. I am 30 now, and this disease is out of my life forever (Fingers crossed ). Had she not been there to help me diagnose it at an early stage, I dont know what wouldve happened. I am glad I got the opprtunity to connect with her. So humble and so patient. She takes her time, never rushes, and genuinely makes you feel cared for and understood. She truly takes the time to listen and explain everything clearly. Her medical knowledge is phenomenal, a perfect blend of heart and expertise. Honestly, if there were 7 stars to give, she deserves every single one!

The staff were lovely, so kind and understanding which has been thoroughly appreciated. However, some frustration noted around wait times. While it is appreciated that diagnostics are a lengthy process and take time, I found issues where my assessments were delayed due to Skylight not having all the information from the forms I had already completed, and after submitting my forms I was not told that all of the information had not been received until I reached out and chased my application due to the time frames I was given being overdue. To improve this experience, more communication on what has and hasn’t been received would improve the experience and shorten some people’s wait times, as my wait time was partially increased due to lack of communication over forms I had or hadn’t filled in.

I first went to Cristina through a recommendation, and honestly, I didn’t have much hope left for my hair. From the very beginning, she took the time to sit with me and go through my hair history over the past few years to truly understand what went wrong. The treatment Cristina suggested has been one of the best I’ve ever had. It’s a long process, but without her help, I genuinely believe I would have lost all my hair. She’s incredibly kind, professional, and even encouraged me to visit my GP for additional support. Cristina is an amazing specialist, and I can confidently say she’s the best choice — not just for her expertise but for her care and compassion. The whole clinic is fantastic and provides outstanding service!

I can’t thank everyone enough for such wonderful care. The surgeon was amazing. Went into great detail to explain everything clearly. Made me feel at ease before and after surgery. A very high standard of care. Absolutely amazing team of surgeons and nurses. I will be forever grateful. The best care I have ever had in any hospital. 10/10 very caring people. I feel very blessed to of been so fortunate to of had such an amazing surgeon., and very supportive nurses to help me after my surgery. Mr Aziz Gulamhusein is a very skilled surgeon. On arrival everything was explained, my operation was carried out with minimum waiting time, the nurses and anaesthetist were excellent, as was the surgeon, the next thing I recall is being in the recovery room and being wheeled back to my room, very good after care with constant visits from staff. I was able to leave hospital after one night, now six weeks later following expert advice from physio my knee is improving all the time. I would fully recommend the Norwich Spire Hospital.

Mr Sayasneh, is compassionate, kind, gentle, respectful, very thorough, totally professional, highly knowledgeable and very experienced gynaecologist. He is an excellent communicator, explains everything in lay person’s terms and his letter reports concerning visits, examinations and diagnosis are articulate, thorough, understandable and unbelievably prompt. I can’t recommend him highly enough and am grateful for his services and care.

Overall my first appointment at Spire Lea hospital was a satisfactory experience. At the reception I was quickly registered as an insurance patient. The waiting time was not very long. The duration of the appointment was long enough to cover all my questions, explain my problem and get a gynaecology examination by the doctor with help of a female assistant. The doctor explained to me a treatment to follow to alleviate my symptoms.

Following his examination of my notes, and proceeded to discuss the tests to verify if there is any underlying issue. At the end of of the first session. I will never forget his final words. "Don't worry, I will look after you"

Dr Sharon performed a TT division for my baby and provided a lactation consultation plus ongoing support in her breastfeeding group. With her support, I was able to get my son from the 2nd centile up to the 50th with exclusive breastfeeding, and his colic symptoms improved too. I couldn’t be more grateful to her for helping get us back on track - he’s 9 months now and still happily breastfeeding alongside solids.

Unfortunately there was a problem with the booking systems at reception which meant checking in was delayed due to a queue that had formed. However the staff were very helpful and trying to do all they could to inform patients of the problem. The nursing station seemed very busy and understaffed, there was a delay in urine testing due to this and I waited 30minutes just to be provided with a sample jar and bag.

First attendance was for my daughter, we were seen within the time of the appointment. all staff were extremely polite and also helpful in regards to assisting with questions. The facilities are at an excellent level, clean and well presented. Ensuite rooms with bathroom/changing room in the outpatients consulting rooms. Overall welcoming and good environment especially as its a Hospital.

The reception staff,( especially Sandra), are always friendly and helpful and Simon my dentist always takes the time to explain fully about the dental procedures he is doing for me Keep up the good work !
