Dr Shaltoot is is amazing. She is kind, compasionate and explains everything clearly. The most important thing for me is that she listens to and acknowledges what I am experiencing and feeling. After seening a huge number of gynaecologists over 22 years, constantly beimg told there was nothing medically wrong based only an a few ultra sounds and refused even an MRI, I asked the GP to refer me for a full hysterectomy as I couldn't stand it anymore. I made an appointment with Dr Shaltoot and she was the first gynaecologist to listen to me. She performed my surgery a month after the initial appointment and confirmed it was endometriosis, which I have been certain of for years. I wish I had seen her several years ago before it reached the stage it has. She is the only gynaecologist that I trust.

1)I found the signage to the main lifts and to Lyndhurst rooms confusing. There should be signage in the ground floor lift lobby saying which departments are on which floor. I have been complaining about this since 1971. 2)The excellent group portrait of the Royal Free consultants in about 1970 which used to be on the ground floor but has now been removed to the 12th Floor no longer has the key saying who they are. This is a digrace and an insult to the memory of a fine group of men (and about ten women), The key should be found and reinstated immediately.

The treatment was carried out about 2 months later and Dr Rajpar and his staff were extremely caring and considerate. The procedure was done with CO2 laser. The lovely staff even called for and escorted me to my taxi ensuring I got home safely. I was asked to send daily pictures until I had healed. The results are outstanding and my life has been truly transformed.
