My observations on Dr Aka Being born in 1943, I am able to remember what it was like to see the doctor in those days. Fortunately, I didn’t have much first hand experience besides having wounds patched up occasionally, notably one laceration of my middle finger, which was sliced open by the rim of a rusty old wheelbarrow wheel which I was trying to divert from flattening my Dad's prize flower bed. The wound went septic. Our doctor gave me a newly introduced bovine based anti-tetanus injection to which I became allergic and swelled me up to resemble the Michelin man. I don't remember the treatment but do recall the concerned manner in which I was nursed back to health from what I understand was a serious condition, by my doctor who visited me at home regularly. As the Dad of four children, medical intervention and advice was necessary from time to time by our family Doctor who also visited us at home when necessary, and was a friend and confidant to us all. Now, with the general increase of population, thus, in the doctor to patient ratio, it is impossible to replicate the old order in general. However, it is refreshing to know that this order still exists and is exemplified by my experience of twice recently being treated by Dr Eka who, with all the resources of modern technology to hand is able to make an accurate diagnosis and prescribe effective treatment, but does this in a cool, friendly and concerned manner in full knowledge of my history, for which I am most grateful.

Zack treated my son for deep verrucas caused by swimming, and I honestly couldn’t be happier with the care we received. The diagnosis and treatment were done in the same appointment, and everything was handled with so much care and professionalism. My son is 9 years old and was understandably nervous, but Zack was fantastic at keeping him calm, confident, and engaged throughout the treatment. He was reassuring, patient, and made the whole experience far less daunting. The treatment itself was quick and very well managed. We went back for a follow-up today and were given the all-clear, along with a top-up treatment to remove any remaining dead skin and ensure nothing was left behind. Zack explained everything clearly to both my son and me, which really empowered us and reassured us that this was the best course of action. Zack was excellent — funny, caring, and professional — exactly what you want, especially when treating a young child. I would highly recommend him without hesitation.

The Clinic was a little difficult to find but once there the staff were excellent and very efficient. My appointment was on time and the waiting area was warm and comfortable. The consultant was very helpful and explained everything and answered all my questions. I wasn’t rushed or meant to feel unimportant. The nurse was helpful and reassuring. There had been an administrative problem that I had mentioned to the lady on arrival and that was completely sorted out by the time I left which was extremely efficient. When I first started looking for an endometriosis specialist and came across Mr Raza and all the positive reviews, I wondered: ‘can he really be that great?!’. The answer: yes he was. I had stage 4 DIE and a frozen pelvis. Mr Raza not only had the technical skill and expertise to deal with a complex case (with minimally invasive and cutting edge surgery) but also showed so much care and compassion, which gave me so much confidence and reassurance going into my surgery. The whole experience, including the recovery, has been so so positive and I would fully recommend him.

Yesterday I had a phone call from Mr Yang who came up with a plan for my latest UTI . We had a full and informative discussion. Within 5 mons of his call I had a private prescription emailed to me and within 30 mins I had a phone call from Forbury saying my UTI vaccine was ready for collection. I went to the Forbury and the vaccine was all ready for me complete with cooling pack to keep it cold. During the afternoon I also received a very accurate clinic letter from Mr Yang and copied to my GP. All very speedy and efficient and much appreciated.

Greeted by friendly staff and seen at my appointment time. Following a basic health check, the procedure was explained in detail and I was taken to a treatment room for the Gastroscopy to begin. Throat spray was applied, blood pressure and oxygen levels were monitored throughout the procedure, then the camera was inserted via the mouth into the oesopagus and stomach. The process was painless but a little discomfort was felt and took no longer that 10 minutes in total. I was then taken to a recovery room and discussed the treatment findings.
