On my recent appointment with you, I got stuck in heavy traffic and was 15 min late. I was so worried I would miss my appointment. I phoned the reception team to let them know and they were so helpful and put my mind at rest and said they would let you know and to still attend my appointment. On arrival you called me into your treatment room and again made me feel at ease. I received my treatment and you made me feel that the time constraint was not a problem. Sadly not the experience in the NHS. Your clinical care was outstanding and your manner was so refreshingly and reassuringly appreciated. We also discussed that you see some of my patients from the Lower limb service. My latest procedure with Mr Howells was for a total knee replacement (TKR) of my left knee following a successful TKR of my right knee three months earlier. Mr Howells again provided a clear explanation of the procedure and of the potential issues associated with the surgery, but presented it professionally and objectively which gave me confidence in Mr Howells and that the procedure would be a success. Mr Howells provided a realistic expectation of the outcome and encouraged post operation rehabilitation to achieve a successful recovery. My recovery from the two knee replacement operations has been excellent and even after just six weeks I know that I can look forward to daily life pain free. I have been, and will continue to recommend Mr Howells for anyone requiring knee replacement surgery.

Mr Mihai was very accessible and approachable. He was reassuring about my diagnosis although it was serious and gave a very clear recommendation for surgical treatment which was well explained. I was confident that he was very experienced in managing patients with my condition. On the day of surgery he spoke clearly to me and my wife about the planned surgical operation and gave all the relevant information for me to be able to sign the consent form; I had plenty of time to ask questions. After surgery he visited me on the ward and saw me again the next day to check I was fit for discharge and to give clear guidance for the post operative period and to explain the plan for further follow up with results.

This was my first experience of private health care. All staff are welcoming the clinic is very clean. It was self service to Refreshments but that's not to clear. I think it would've been nicer to be offered a beverage when you check in. I found myself being forced into this option as the nhs weren't listening. I met with Dr. Howie (GP) I found it such a relief just to be heard. It has only taken 1 visit and 1 review appointment to help with my menopause issues. i have been suffering for many years and it has ovly taken 3 months to solve going private. Thank you!!

All staff, including the doctor we saw, we're very friendly, made us feel at ease, and the procedure appears to have been carried out smoothly. The only thing I'd fault is the communication before the appointment, particularly the emails. They include a misleading price, the suggestion that a follow-up would not be required (when we understand that is completely normal) and we'd understood that we could/should be in the room when the procedure was taking place, which was then quite strongly advised against.
