An unforgettable Natural Water Birth Experience! Where to begin. I had a natural water birth delivery without painkillers. This was only possible because Reena made me feel empowered throughout my whole pregnancy. I am beyond grateful for the exceptional care I received from her throughout my entire pregnancy and delivery. I met her through another consultant whilst looking for an obstetrician and I only had to meet her once to know she will deliver my baby. She had such a beautiful aura to her. You could see how much she loves what she does. Her confidence in her work just shined through. She made me feel confident in choosing her. She was so well put together and knew how to answer everyone of my questions. She was so compassionate through out my whole pregnancy and checked in on me every opportunity she had. I cannot recommend her enough. In every scan appointment she would be super excited to see our baby and explained every single detail regarding the baby. She would explain and teach us about the babies growth. She truly loves what she does and that makes every appointment super joyful. She has such a warm energy to her. She is absolutely beautiful inside and out. I feel that I found a freind in her and I could be super comfortable talking to her about everything I felt. When my baby was discovered to be breech, she gave me options on how to turn the baby naturally first. I chose Moxibustion which is a natural method to help turn the baby before the medicalised version of turning baby. This worked and we were able to stick to our plan for a natural birth. She always gave me enough information to know the outcome of every decision I made so i was well informed, she let me lead my pregnancy. I chose to have a water birth, and I am so thankful I had Reena by my side. She brought my little guy out on my last push. My pregnancy was a calm ans empowering experience and my birth wad far beyond what I could have imagined. I had her unwavering support and guidance during pregnancy, which helped me in my natural birth without taking pain medication, she helped me stay focused and grounded. Every step of the way, Reena was there with the amazing midwives, offering kind words of encouragement, helping me trust my body, and ensuring that both my baby and I were safe and well taken care of. Her approach to care is simply unmatched. What truly sets her apart is the way she listened to my wishes and made me feel in charge of my pregnancy and delivery. Thanks to Reena, I had a beautiful, unmedicated birth that was everything I hoped for and more. I truly feel empowered and grateful for the incredible experience she helped me create. She is more than just a doctor, she is a freind now and I wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone seeking an amazing birth experience. She made me believe I can give birth naturally whilst making sure I had all the medical guidance needed. Thank you, Reean, for helping me bring my baby into the world in such a beautiful and peaceful way. You are a rare gem in the world of obstetrics, and I will forever be grateful for your care. Early January 2024, I was diagnosed with Squamous carcinoma in my neck and I had gone through a radiotherapy / chemotherapy treatment and recovered well by mid 2024. A year and a few months later, I discovered something in my upper left jaw and with biopsy, it’s confirmed to be cancer again. I searched for a Maxillofacial surgeon and several of my friends and doctors recommended Dr. Mustansir Alibhai as one of the best in this area. I went to see him and from day one I saw how he is kind and taking good care of his patients. Within a week, he did all required scans and tests and booked the surgery. The surgery was so complicated because of my previous radiotherapy treatment. The surgery took about 14 hours, almost double the normal time, and Dr. Alibhai along with his team had to deal with several complications during the surgery. He dealt with these complications in a very professional way as I heard from his colleagues after the surgery. I think that Allah gave me a new opportunity in this day to come back to life through the help of Dr. Alibhai. After the surgery, I saw a caring person who was taking care of all the details along with his team. I spent 6 days at intensive care and then another 5 days at a normal room. During this period, Dr. Alibhai and his team took very good care of me. The results of the surgery were superb. The pathology report mentioned the success of the surgery in fully removing the tumor with a very good margin. Therefore, my oncologist along with Dr. Alibhai and the team decided that there is no need for further radiotherapy treatment, given the fact that I already had radiotherapy before. The recovery process is a little long because of the sophisticated surgery in my mouth and my leg. I can’t tell you enough about how careful and kind Dr. Alibhai is in following up with me and managing the recovery process in the best possible way to make sure that I return to my normal situation and normal life in due time. He is a real human before being a doctor and this is what makes the difference. I highly recommend Dr. Alibhai for similar cases and I am quite sure he will do a great job. I wish him all the best in his career and his life.

I am currently under the care of Prof Greg Shaw after being diagnosed with prostate cancer in May of this year (2025) Prof Shaw and team continue to provide excellent medical attention throughout. From initial consultations and discovery through to MRI, biopsy, and robotic surgery, the entire process was managed with professionalism, clarity, and compassion. The road ahead was discussed in detail over several consultations with different treatment options presented., Prof Shaw explained each of the different treatments and likely success rates, which ultimately was the driver for my decision to have surgery. Professor Shaw’s bedside manner is calm, reassuring, and deeply respectful qualities that were especially appreciated.. His surgical skill and precision were evident post operation, and I felt confident and safe in his care. I would also like to mention Dr Maria Chazapis, consultant anaesthetist, whose calm presence and clear communication helped ease my nerves before surgery. Her excellent bedside manner, combined with her ability to explain the procedure and ensure my comfort, made a significant difference to my experience. Katrina O’Toole, Professor Shaw’s PA, was exceptional in coordinating appointments and keeping me informed throughout the process. Her responsiveness and attention to detail ensured that everything ran smoothly, and she is a vital point of contact during a complex and emotionally time. In particular, Sister Vicky Clarete deserves special recognition for the post Op removal of my catheter. Her bedside manner and skill were exceptional; I felt at ease with her immediately, and she handled the procedure with great dignity and compassion, respect and calm. Vicky is a credit to Professor Shaw’s team.. Overall, this experience reflects a gold standard in healthcare where clinical leadership sets the tone for excellence, coordinated support teams ensure seamless delivery and patient-centred care.10/10

She approached my case like a detective — carefully piecing together my complex medical history to uncover the underlying cause. What more than fifty doctors couldn’t figure out, she identified in a single appointment. Her suspicions were confirmed through tests, and she immediately arranged my treatment and ongoing care. Since then, my breathing and overall health have stabilised, and I’ve been steadily regaining my strength. From the very first appointment, she stood out — compassionate, honest, and incredibly knowledgeable. For the first time, I didn’t feel rushed or dismissed. I needed a review of my orthotics, as they were now about two years old. In the last few months, the practice has moved down a floor in the building, resulting in a far airier, far more modern and far more pleasant environment, and it also means that they are finally able to expand the practice, While it’s still a work in progress, the upgrade to the environment is fantastic! What’s not changed is that Hugo and Matt remain the most excellent orthosis techs that I’ve ever dealt with. They are both charming, efficient, attentive to detail and professional. The key advantage of the practice is that they follow the French method of both designing and creating your orthotics while you are there. The result was that s always, I waked out with a remedy for the minor issues that had arisen since my last orthotics were made. They may have been, as Hugo put it, “minor changes”, but they’ve made major improvements to how I stand, how I walk and how I feel. I’d recommend them without hesitation.

I had my shoulder replacement there and spent 2 nights as well (Thurs and Fri). The nursing staff and health assistants were brilliant and attentive, which I really appreciated. My only complaint is about the food staff/team, and to some degree the food itself. The food is just above ok, clearly institutional, but not with a lot of awareness of how a patient may need to handle or access the food. This may be because most of the overnight patients are there for knee or hip surgery. I don't know. But with a shoulder replacement, I can't cut anything (I tried to order things I could pick up or stab) but things like I could barely get the cling wrap off the plates so I could actually access the food were disappointing. There were times I had to eat with my one good hand, no utensil. At no point did any of the food staff notice or do anything like offer to take the cling film off for me, etc. Very perfunctory and in light of the other care received there, really stood out as lacking.

My experience with Skylight has been nothing short of kind, understanding, reassuring and gentle with their approach. Including emails from Sarah on reception, and the way she words things just felt caring, patient and approachable. I was so nervous having a face to face assessment as it's out of my comfort zone, but I met with Hannah Freeman who made me feel at ease. She explained the process so that I could understand and gave me opportunity to ask any questions. She was very understanding at times I found tricky to answer. I then had a zoom call with Pawel Jaskolski who was also equally as kind and understanding and gabe me plenty of time to answer any questions. Noone made me feel like a burden or that my diagnosis was silly. I felt I could open up more than I usually would, therefore I would highly recommend Skylight to anyone.

I had been experiencing some knee pain so contacted after seeing an advertisement in the gym and lady on the phone recommended how I could have a 15 minute free consultation. Dan contacted the following day and after giving a couple of possibilities of what he said it sounded like suggested a face to face appointment. This was then scheduled for the following week. From the assessment Dan could pin point what was wrong and set me up with some exercises to try and see if it helped. He gave me advise of continuing to do the activities I enjoyed but if the pain level got to 5 or above to reduce or stop. From the exercises and advise that Dan gave me my knee pain declined then completely went. I had my next appointment 3 weeks later and received some more advice on exercises to try to prevent future injuries.

The ablation procedure I underwent under the care of Dr Segal has been transformative and has had an incredibly positive physical and psychological impact on my life. Prior to the procedure I was acutely aware that an episode of AF could occur at any time and this left me anxious and uncomfortable. Dr Segal supported me throughout the period in which I was having AF episodes, from diagnosing the condition, putting in place a management plan and outlining the options, to undertaking the procedure and administering the after care. He was professional, supportive and incredibly informative and He is an absolute expert in his field and I cannot recommend him highly enough!

This is my second year for breast cancer annual review, so I now know that it will be a long afternoon, moving to and from the waiting room to the consultants room and for different scans. The overall appointment may be lengthy, but having the opportunity to have all the necessary scans and consultations conducted in one afternoon, reduces the number of appointments and waiting time for results which would prolong any worry. I praise Miss Deol, the nurses, radiologist, radiographers for managing a very hectic schedule of patients and scans.

Dr.Alam Hannan has been great in explaining to us my son's hearing. I also really liked that before the appointment he took time to speak to me and most importantly to read through all the previous reports. That way he already knew our entire history, and I did not need to entertain my son whilst telling the doctor our medical history (which is what usually happens and what is annoying especially with very young children). Dr.Hannan has excellent manners and ways to explain things. I left his office with a smile. Thank you Dr.Hannan.
