I had cataract surgery on both eyes on 4th December 2025 and l was discharged today, 12th January 2026. I'm so pleased to say l don't need to wear glasses or contact lenses any more. From start to finish, my experience at Freedom Vision Chelmsford was exceptionally good - and my end result is superb vision. - more than l could ever have hoped for. Colours are radiant and bright, and probably the biggest bonus for me is feeling so much more confident driving at night. After undergoing rigorous tests and scans , the actual procedure is very quick and painless. All the staff, without question were delightfully kind people and I'd like to thank them all individually, if only l knew their names. But in particular, l'd like to thank Nicola who guided me patiently and expertly throughout the whole procedure, and a massive thank you to Mr Hove , my surgeon, for being such a genius. If you are contemplating cataract surgery, l urge you to go for it - don't be scared - you won't regret it!

Mr Minas carried out a full hysterectomy for me. The operation went very well; the only pain I experienced was immediately after waking in recovery, and this was promptly managed with additional pain relief. I had no further pain and felt fantastic throughout my recovery, which is a testament to the excellent procedure carried out by Mr Minas. He was always professional in his approach, and both he and his team were extremely easy to contact and always very quick to respond. Thank you all for making the entire treatment a positive one for me.

I am a new patient at No.1 Hatfield and my recent visit was to the physioloy department in relation to an ankle problem. The physiologist was kind and easy to talk to and clearly explained the prolem I have to me and gave me a routine of exercises to perform with a follow up appointment to attend in a fortnght's time, this being part of a booked 6 week course. My daughter who came with me and I were very pleased with appointment experience and would recommend the hospital to anyone who might ask about it.

Overall my experience with the consultant was professional, reassuring and helpful. I was upset as it wasn't disclosed prior to my surgery that the hospital was unable to deal with an emergency and unfortunately I had cardiac arrest during the operation . I was fortunate to have a good result after the swift intervention of the theatre team and follow up from my surgeon at NHS hospital. Mr. MOHANTY has been attentive and gave generous support and advice to enable my rehabilitation to be successful.

The actual visit with dentist (Simon Robertson) was at is normal excellent standard by explaining what dental work was required to resolve the situation of which he completed explaining each task as he progressed with no drama or problems. From my GP referral to my initial appointment it was less then 2 weeks. Before surgery I had 3 post operation assessments. The operation was completed as a day admission. I was kept full informed and treated with kindness and respect by all the staff. Mr Bhardwaj saw me on the morning before the operation and again later after it had been completed. Again, I was kept fully informed about my condition.

Unfortunately I had to wait for 40 minutes to be seen. This was disappointing as I had changed the time of my appointment in response to a request from the Oaks. The staff were very pleasant as was Dr Tang. No problem there. The waiting area was too small and cramped.
