Mr Arambage was kind, paitent and empathetic. It was a lovey surprise to speak to a Dr who had already gone through my history and could confidently refer to it, rather than double checking or asking for information already discussed, as this has been a rare experience for me. He was clearly knowledgeable on the subject and could refer to previous experience that was relevant to my scenario and used that to make appropriate recommendations. I liked that his knowledge of my history meant we could skip to important information and have more time to discuss this in detail rather than spend 15min going through my last 2 decades of investigation. Mostly I am relieved to hear a medical professional saying these symptoms are real, with a root cause that can be treated, I am not delusional and to have a clear plan of action moving forward. It is a great weight off my shoulders and I am incredibly grateful for that and for Kirana’s time and efforts.

I feel the signs to tell you where to go could be clearer my mobility is not good had quite a long walk to get inside the building. My ultrasound scan was carried out with such speed I felt it was rushed, I had to ask for white paper roll to protect my clothes from being wet from the gel ,while the scan was being carried out the nurse sat behind the consultant on his chair ! I feel she should have been at the bottom of the couch standing at my feet reassuring me & asking if I was comfortable.kingsbridge give “an excellent 1st class experience re procedures” I’m afraid in my appointment this was not the case , over the years i have had many experiences with ultrasound and this was the worst , i could not have been on the couch anymore than 4 or 5 minutes very disappointing.

David Lawrence came off his Easter holiday 2013 to do emergency surgery for me with his team. OF course anyone who has facilitated an extension of your life is going to become somewhat special in your life!. in every interaction with this focused human being I have experienced a gentle and precise focus and clarity. I am always quite amazed at the time he has given me as an NHS patient, He has responded to every email and concern I have had for almost 12 years now!. Last year I had to have some sternum wires removed and he even took it pain himself to match the incision with a Tatoo I had on my skin over my sternum !. HE is a truly dedicated surgeon who just gets on with the job and has enough humanity to be with you , present and available. Than you with all my Heart!

I arrived at 8.50 for a 9 am appointment. Was taken for a urine test which was irrelevant to why I was there and I never saw any results of. At 9.01 I saw the Dr arriving in the clinic. I was told she had a telephone appointment. At 9.15 I saw a patient leave her consulting room and was eventually seen. Despite having filled out the pre questionaire with my medication Dr Carulli couldn't find it but instead wanted to go through them. But then in her covering letter to my GP missed out significant ones like statins. Dr Carulli listed herself as a specialist in Osteoporosis but didn't seem to know a lot - at one point asking why there were two scores in my DEXA scan (one is the T score one is the z score a WEB MD search can tell you that...).

Sinead is an extremely knowledgeable, professional, and supportive dietitian who genuinely takes the time to listen to her patients and consider their individual needs and preferences. I found her very easy to talk to, which made discussing my condition and concerns feel comfortable and reassuring. Her expertise in Crohn’s disease and the role of diet is excellent, and her guidance was both practical and tailored to me personally. I would highly recommend Sinead to anyone looking for a specialist dietitian, particularly those living with Crohn’s disease.

I've had nothing but a great experience with Professor Kidd. I had spent a couple of weeks in a London Hospital where the experience was horrendous and I was released with no diagnosis or treatment in a very poor state. Went to then see Prof Kidd and received a treatment from the first appointment which made a massive difference to my symptoms. He has since done lots of tests and I was given a diagnosis and help. It is still ongoing and I am so happy I ended up as his patient. He is an amazing doctor and really cares about his patients.

The recent visit was as a follow up on a glaucoma condition and after cataract had been remobed. Despite being very early for my appointment I was seen almost staight away. After further analysis of my eye functionx it was suggested that I might benefit from laser work to allow additional light through to the inside of the eyes and to open further the drainage channel in the left eye.

All the staff at HCA The Shard were very friendly and helpful. They guided me patiently throughout the checks so that I could finish the checks without much difficulty. The doctor who performed my ultrasound screening was very professional, attentive and helpful. He gave me the information I needed and answered all the questions I had so that I could leave the room worry-free.

Lucy Kerrison is very thorough , excellent listener and very effective communication. She is an excellent dietitian in that she is knowledgable and an efficient researcher. Her sessions ‘face to face’ are a joy.Lucy sums up the consultation which is an excellent way to have a written report to refer to. Lucy’s help continues to contribute to my improved health.

Whilst the initial administrative/communication aspects were less than convincing, that was certainly not the case whenever I was actually on the Spire premises. All the staff on my 2 day stay for the operation were fantastic, and likewise my subsequent post op attendances for wound check, clip removal and physio sessions were of the highest quality.

I saw Mr Samuel Mackenzie about a persistent pain I have on my left shoulder. He proposed three lines of treatment for what it looks like it is tendonitis, so I will start with physiotherapy. Very reassuring, he explained everything to me in clear terms and he let me know that if pain becomes worse I can go back and see him.
