I attended Spencer Ashford Hospital which was easy to find and was able to park nearby in the carpark using a Blue Badge displayed. Access was at ground level with no steps. Reception staff greeted me straight away and booked me in, provided necessary to complete my procedure. Toilets were easily accessed just off Reception and there is a water machine free. All staff including the medical team that I saw were engaging, jovial yet professional. The atmosphere was calm and relaxing with about three patients waiting. Mr Georgios Papadopoulos explained the procedure that I was undergoing in depth and was unrushed and very calm and inquired whether I had questions. His team were as fantastic ensuring that I was at ease throughout. At no point did I feel under pressure to leave after the procedure.

I needed a Total Hip Replacement. East Sussex gave me the option of choosing Sussex Premier health. I found Mr Buckle to actively listen to me, he was clear about the operation and there were no surprises. My post op appointment was great; clear and straightforward. I know what is and is not possible going forward. Mr Buckle should give what I guess might be called “bedside manner” coaching to some of his contemporaries and others coming up the “medical ladder” so to speak.

All staff at the clinic were genuinely friendly and helpful. The premises were spotlessly clean and a range of seating options. I.was disappointed that there wasn't a tea/coffee station, as I had left early to ensure I made my appointment time. My son asked at reception where the nearest coffee takeaway was, and the staff immediately offered us coffee. My son declined, but I was made a lively cup of coffee and was very grateful.
