The beginning of the visit went well. A lady with blonde hair explained where I need to go to wait on the doctor. I had various examinations from the lead nurse and assistant who were both very friendly and professional. I then had to have a heart monitor fitted and the person doing this was also great. I was told that I’m good to go and I left the room to walk out but was unaware of next steps, do I need to come back and when is the heart monitor being returned etc. I had approached a lady with red hair at reception who was so rude and unprofessional, zero eye contact and instead of listening to my concerns about not knowing where I stand and what further tests I will have done, she had spoken to me as if I should know this information and her attitude was extremely condescending. I explained my reasoning for being worried and she continued to give me unnecessary and unprofessional attitude. Lastly I asked this lady if I could please have a list of what my appointment and treatment had cost so far, she didn’t reply to Me and say of course I can share this, she simply looked down and worked on her computer whilst writing some figures down on a sticky note and coldly handed this to me. I replied with thank you for your help and goodbye to which she didn’t acknowledge and put her head down and carried on. Very unprofessional and also made me feel as if I am asking for a lot when in truly it’s my first time visiting kingsbridge and I was quite anxious. This experience made me feel worse to the point I had card my private health team to ask if something can be done as I was thinking of not returning. I hope this feedback is passed on to whoever needs to hear it and something is actioned to prevent other customers becoming overwhelmed to potentially not return, as I am sure my family and friends will think twice about visiting.

The doctors are excellent here but my experience of the front desk staff is that some of them are very officious. Someone coming to see a consultant wants to see a reassuring face and a conciliatory personality not someone only interested in getting forms signed and quite literally banging on about insurance details. Trust me we all know what we have to bring to the appointment. In many cases a smile, a seat and a helping hand would leave a far better impression.

It was a virtual appointment so I didn’t see the practice in person. The lady who did my adhd assessment was great and made me feel really comfortable. The wait time for assessment/diagnosis and the waiting list I’m now on for medication titration were both a few months longer than I’d expected (from looking at the website before my referral), but still much faster than with my GP. (I went through NHS Right to Choose after waiting over 4 years for an assessment)

My visit was very pleasant. Dr Kalli went out of her way with me and was very quick to finally give me the correct diagnosis, as well as a full explanation of what it entailed. Dr Kalli treated me and gave me a plan for each stage of my skin condition. Following her plan allowed my skin condition to improve within 7 days and helped me feel back to normal and as though I can manage my condition moving forward. I could not fault her or my experience here.

David was an absolute pleasure to be around. From the off, he put my anxiety at ease, answering any questions I had with total professionalism. He was funny, friendly and extremely polite - as well as totally honest, which I appreciated. He created a rapport with me so easily and I quickly felt at ease around him, and with his work. I trusted to him to do his very best job, which was a great feeling. Not to mention he has an excellent music taste, too!

Mr Gareth Hewitt

General Surgeon

Mr Hewitt has been my consultant for over 20years. I had UC during this period, but in Dec 25 a tumor was discovered so Mr Hewitt had to operate. Today's appointment was a check up on my bellybutton wounds which Mr Hewitt has put me in for a biopsy as he wants to make sure it's heeling correctly and nothing more sinister going on as it looks different from what he expected. He also spoke about further tests and prev test results.

Mr Anoop Anugraha

Second post operative follow-up . I was seen at appointment time. Mr Anugraha welcomed me and I was offered a seat. After being asked how I was generally and post-operatively I was allowed time to give details. Following physical examination of my operation site and some further questioning I was given the opportunity twice if I had any further questions. I felt comfortable,unrushed and supported. Very professional.

He is a kind a compassionate doctor devoted to his patients' care and would always be the doctor of choice for both my family and myself. In addition to Professor Lovat's care patients benefit from the care of his wonderful PA Alexandra who really goes out of her way to make what may be a very worrying time go as smoothly as possible

The coaching and individual attention I've received has been excellent, with personable, encouraging staff enabling me to safely make huge, measurable progress towards gaining full fitness in 12 weeks of individualised rehab sessions following cardiac bypass surgery. In no time at all Miss Masara Laginaf operated on my eye and though not perfect, she has restored my vision so i can return to my previous life, I can’t recommend them enough.
