About Mr Edward Dawe

Mr Edward Dawe is a Trauma and Orthopaedic Consultant specialising in foot and ankle conditions. His practice focuses on helping patients reduce pain, restore function, and return to normal activity as quickly as possible.

Where appropriate, he aims to avoid surgery by offering clear advice and tailored non-operative treatments. When surgery is needed, he provides a full range of modern techniques, including minimally invasive (keyhole) procedures, bunion correction, ankle arthroscopy, and joint replacement.

Mr Dawe has extensive experience managing both routine and complex foot and ankle problems, including revision surgery. He also has a particular interest in arthroscopic ankle fracture fixation and improving outcomes following foot and ankle surgery.

He is committed to clear communication, shared decision-making, and delivering practical results that make a real difference to patients’ day-to-day lives.

Mr Dawe is a credit to his profession. I recently had a bunion correction, a misaligned toe broken and realigned and an ingrowing toenail removed. My recovery was much quicker than I’d anticipated and with minimal discomfort afterwards. I would not hesitate to recommend Mr Dawe for his skill, his words of advice and his calm and reassuring manner. What a wonderful surgeon … Nine weeks post op, I’m walking normally and have no pain whatsoever. Some slight swelling, which I was told to expect at the end of the day, but this is usually gone by the following morning. I feel very fortunate to have received such great care and attention and that the outcome was so positive. Thank you once again.
