Overall a very pleasant visit.

From the minute I arrived everyone I came into contact with were kind, pleasant and professional. It was a very nice experience.

The build was clean and well maintained. The staff were polite and helpful either a friendly demeanour.

The staff are a hugely successful resource as each encounter was imbued with genuine interest, concern and support. Nurse Elena ensured I was well cared for during recovery, discussing the process in a warm, friendly manner. The anaesthetist was also excellent, checking my status and answering questions in a way that did not patronise. The staff attending on me pre and post op were all personable, experienced and highly competent. The facilities are superb, although the air conditioning on a previous visit meant that the operation scheduled in June had to be postponed owing to ‘excess humidity’. Contact with / from Spire could have been better.

My disappointment relates to the administrative support I received following my consultation.

All smooth and efficient

I have been to Spire Montefiore before and every time I am impressed with the professional and friendly attitude of all the staff. I have been very happy with the outcomes of all my appointments.

Montefiore hospital staff were mostly pleasant and helpful. I did have an appointment booked for me to be seen post op and when I got there it had been cancelled. However it worked out in the end although the receptionist was very uncompromising about it all. I did send photos that they checked over when I was concerned about my wounds but it wasn't made clear to me that I could contact them after surgery. Although they were more than helpful when they did eventually. Apparently it's in their literature when they hand it to you but a verbal confirmation would have helped as I recovered on my own

As with all visits, very good expertise

Mr Alfredo Tonsi is unusual in that, apart from being an excellent Surgeon and utterly Professional, he is also genuinely empathetic, warm-hearted, interested, and very kind. We are used to Surgeons being Professional - but coldly efficient and distant. Mr Tonsi gives comfort and a sense of security. We are most appreciative. Thank you
