Dr Ghalli and I discussed my MRI results. The discussion was clear and provided the necessary information for me to understand my condition and to understand the treatment options and the likely progression of my condition. As I have medical knowledge, Dr Ghalli also answered my specific questions about the imaging findings and the biology behind the conditions. I found Dr Ghalli knowledgeable and approachable.

Such a warm and friendly Dr, explained everything so clearly and made me feel at ease with everything that I have been diagnosed with. He wanted further investigation and gave me his email to ask any questions, and made the next steps very clear. I feel very confident, that there will be clear communication during the next steps of my further tests and investigation.

Dr Ghalli was un-rushed and thorough, giving me confidence that he was looking into all possibilities for the sudden drop in my kidney function. He’s was extremely kind and reassured me as much as he could until tests could be done. When I saw him again for my test results, he took care to tell me as soon as I entered the consulting room that they were good. I am grateful for his kindness and great expertise.

It was our pleasure to meet Dr Ghalli. He has an incredibly kind and gentle nature and put us at ease straight away. He was excellent in answering all of our questions fully, explaining everything in depth and gave us plenty of time. At no point did we feel rushed. We felt this was a thorough and invaluable consultation. Thank you so much Dr Ghalli! **Dear Dr Ghalli, it was so lovely to meet you and thank you so much for your help and your time. If I may ask a further question; we were quite surprised that dialysis isn’t necessary until GFR drops to 6. My mum is worrying that this is due to her age. Prior to seeing you I had thought that dialysis would be given at around GFR 15/stage 5 as was the case with my Father’s CKD 25 years ago (in fact he started while he was still in Stage 4) but I understand that criteria can change with time and every case is different, according to symptoms and blood test results. I’m trying to allay her fears saying that she is lucky she doesn’t need it yet but she is fixated on this subject now and is convinced she should be starting dialysis very soon. Nothing I say seems to be helping the situation. I look forward to hearing from you, Kind regards Joanna A
