Competent, professional yet warm and friendly (lots of smiles!), reassuring, and made me feel calm and very well heard. Showed me x rays and explained them clearly
4.5
Unfortunately I suffered a trochanteric fracture during surgery which prevents me from allocating the highest score. However I hold Mr Stott in the highest regard. His care and attention was superlative and the hip prosthesis has given me a pain free and now fully mobile hip. I am strengthening and mobilising at a very reasonable pace.

Could not be happier with my experience having my hip replaced by Mr Stott , I could not have hoped for a better result. I can certainly recommend Mr Stott to anyone needing a hip replacement. Thank you

Very positive indeed. Made me feel at ease from the very beginning. Very easy to talk to and understand what was needed. A very pleasant manner.

Although he concluded that I do not need hip surgery, Mr Stott was extremely helpful in commissioning X-rays on my hips and knees and, having studied them, explaining to me what the problems are and advising me as to how I should approach my stiffness problem which, as he showed me on the X-rays, is caused by arthritis in all those joints - some worse than others. He took a lot of trouble to explain the X-rays and recommended Pilates which I am now organising. I had been recommend to visit Mr Stott by a friend who has had two very successful hip replacement operations by him, as a result of which she has now excellent mobility (and very neat scars!) I was of course relieved that I do not need surgery, but would certainly return to Mr Stott should any further problems develop. Incidentally, the staff at Montifiore hospital were very efficient, speedy and friendly. Lady Jennie B.

Excellent care throughout my diagnosis, operation and post operative review. Mr Stott explained everything in detail and was very helpful when I emailed him with questions. He’s very professional, skilled and caring which was reassuring to a very nervous patient!

Mr Stott carried a thorough examination of my left hip, including arranging an x-ray. His assessment of the examination and x-ray was clearly explained to me, and I was shown relevant areas of the x-rayed hip joint that were causing me difficulty. I would be very happy to undertake further treatment with Mr Stott.

Mr Scott was very professional and I understood the diagnosis he gave me in layman terms. I am considering and will not hesitate to have forthcoming treatment in the future with him.
