About Goring Hall Hospital (part of Circle Health Group)
Goring Hall Hospital opened in 1994 and is part of Circle Health Group, the UKs largest independent healthcare provider. Located on the sunshine coast of Worthing, the hospital serves West Sussex and further afield offering a wide range of services from Dermatology to Orthopaedics.
Our Orthopaedic Centre of Excellence benefits from a large team of consultant experts who cover joint replacement for hips, knees, shoulders and ankles.
Eye Care Goring, our dedicated ophthalmic suite, offers expert diagnostics and premium lenses for Cataract Surgery.
Over 120 consultants practice privately from the hospital and are supported by caring and professional medical staff including 24-hour Resident Medical Officers. Consultants undertake a wide range of procedures from routine investigations to complex surgery within a friendly, safe and comfortable environment.
Appointments for most specialities are available within 48 hours and are arranged at a time to suit you, whether that be during the day or in the evening. We see patients on both an insured and self-pay basis, those with private medical insurance should check their policy details with their provider prior to attending any appointments.
We accept referrals from GPs, Optometrists, Physiotherapists and other Consultants. You can also self-refer for the majority of our services.
From the moment you contact the hospital our staff are here to help and you will be greeted with a friendly smile. We provide information and reassurance about your diagnosis and treatment and whether you are attending as an outpatient or being admitted for surgery, our staff and processes are designed to put you at ease.

This is an excellent hospital with kind and caring staff.
The procedure was performed perfectly. Prior consultation and post op follow up appointments were thorough, reassuring, caring and professional. My surgical scars are healing incredibly and from having previous surgeries performed by Mr Pakarian I know they will continue to become unnoticeable. I couldn’t have had a better experience.
Sadly NHS are not what they used to be. If you are worried about anything call up Circle Health. They even do free mini consultations
The team at Goring were excellent from start to finish - from my pre assessment to the operation and the follow up physio and nurse appointments to check my wound. The nurses on Ilex ward are kind, caring and have time to explain what's going on. Special mention for the porters too... very helpful gents.
