About Goring Hall Hospital (part of Circle Health Group)
Goring Hall Hospital opened in 1994 and is part of Circle Health Group, the UKs largest independent healthcare provider. Located on the sunshine coast of Worthing, the hospital serves West Sussex and further afield offering a wide range of services from Dermatology to Orthopaedics.
Our Orthopaedic Centre of Excellence benefits from a large team of consultant experts who cover joint replacement for hips, knees, shoulders and ankles.
Eye Care Goring, our dedicated ophthalmic suite, offers expert diagnostics and premium lenses for Cataract Surgery.
Over 120 consultants practice privately from the hospital and are supported by caring and professional medical staff including 24-hour Resident Medical Officers. Consultants undertake a wide range of procedures from routine investigations to complex surgery within a friendly, safe and comfortable environment.
Appointments for most specialities are available within 48 hours and are arranged at a time to suit you, whether that be during the day or in the evening. We see patients on both an insured and self-pay basis, those with private medical insurance should check their policy details with their provider prior to attending any appointments.
We accept referrals from GPs, Optometrists, Physiotherapists and other Consultants. You can also self-refer for the majority of our services.
From the moment you contact the hospital our staff are here to help and you will be greeted with a friendly smile. We provide information and reassurance about your diagnosis and treatment and whether you are attending as an outpatient or being admitted for surgery, our staff and processes are designed to put you at ease.

I experienced first class care and compassion from every member of the team at Goring Hall. From the moment I walked in and until I was discharged I felt cared for.
My stay was made as comfortable as much as can expected with pain after the open. All the staff were great. I would like to especially mention Amos my nurse who was superb honest and made me feel comfortable, The lady I met on my arrival I apologise as I have forgotten her name. Her natural warmth and welcome was really appreciated. Please pass on my thanks to both of them.

Diagnosed with hip arthritis, which he initially thought was groin strain, Clive feared that debilitating pain would prevent him from trekking in the mountains and his quality of life impacted with a loss of mobility making even the simplest of tasks difficult and painful, Clive sought specialist help from leading Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon, Mr Nirav Shah in the summer of 2024.
