Mr Anupam Dixit is a consultant general surgeon who specialises in Laparoscopic, Upper G.I.  and Weight loss surgery. He sees private patients at the Goring Hall Hospital, The London Independent and Nuffield Health Brighton Hospital.

Over his career, he has completed more than 1000 inguinal hernia repairs, gallbladder and weight loss surgeries and over 100 complex incisional hernias, the majority of which were undertaken laparoscopically. He also sees patients with acid reflux disorders and performs upper gastrointestinal endoscopy. Additionally, he offers a non-surgical weight loss treatment, the 'Allurion' gastric balloon.

Mr Dixit gained his primary medical qualification in 1997 and went on to undertake surgical training in London and Belgium. He gained fellowship with the Royal College of Surgeons and furthered his experience while consulting at the Homerton Hospital Bariatric Unit. Upon completion of his training in 2017, Mr Dixit was appointed Consultant General Surgeon and has since centred his practice around appropriate care and comprehensive assessment.

He has published and presented his work nationally and internationally on topics in bariatric and upper GI surgery. He is a member of a number of professional organisations, including the Association of Upper Gastrointestinal Surgeons of Great Britain and Ireland, the British Obesity & Metabolic Surgery Society (BOMSS), and the International Federation for Surgery of Obesity (IFSO).
