Dr Li took my symptoms seriously and wanted to investigate straight away. I felt that after a year of nobody taking me seriously, I was finally heard and treated with respect.
This review is on behalf of my very elderly mother Jean Pearson who saw Dr Li recently for the embarrassing condition of bowel incontinence. She found him very approachable and was very grateful for the kind and understanding way he discussed her problem and for the subsequent referral.
Professional and courteous manner puts people at ease
Dr Andy Li is a good listener and appears to be kind and caring. He asked me appropriate questions regarding my present symptoms. Past occupation and mode of funding my present medical visit. Assimilated information provided in writing from my GP unit, previous Medical and Surgical reports. He carried out an abdominal examination in the presence of the Nurse on duty, before discussing further tests/procedures required in order to make a diagnosis.
Dr Li was excellent and would recommend him to anyone with gastro problems
Dr Li is fantastic, from beginning to end of consultation. A wonderful smile, a kind reassuring word BEFORE we get into the consultation room! I was nervous due to pain and his open approach with seeking understanding is what made me feel I was with the right doctor. Now, after all the investigations he explained and listened to my views too. Between the both of us now we have a plan. His secretary, Leighann, is wonderful too moving things forward and easing all the processes.
Following 3 years of an unexplained bowel condition, and after much trial and error, Dr Li’s diagnosis and advised medication has had a successful outcome. I am now able to resume my previously active and social lifestyle, with thanks to his experience and perseverance.
