Always a pleasant experience with absolutely top class care / tests / treatments. Mr Casswell reviewed me today after Pressure Test, dilating drops and scans by the wonderful clinicians. Given the prolonged trouble I have experienced with my left eye, Mr Casswell performed Laser Treatment on my good eye as he was a little concerned with the retina. Mr Casswell has a great caring professional friendly nature, making patients feel totally at ease, together with his skill and outstanding qualifications in his field.
I was really pleased and happy with how I was treated and all the information given. Thank you Mr Ed Casswell.
I was initially apprehensive about my laser eye surgery. I was very reassured with the professionalism of Mr Caswell who explained in clear detail what to expect regarding the surgery and the after-care. I’m very pleased with the outcome which has made a significant difference to my life. many thanks, Mr. Caswell.
My cataract surgery exceeded my expectations as I am able to see clearly long distance and close up without any need for glasses. I did not feel any pain during the surgery and my recovery has been pain free with just a little discomfort in my right eye which drops have eased.
Having been terrified to get my cataract done, I did a lot of research and found Ed Casswell in Nuffield in Brighton . From our first meeting I liked Ed, he’s professional, friendly and very experienced! As I hate anything to do with eyes I asked for deep sedation and he was fine for me to have this, which was marvellous as I was completely knocked out during the whole process . Recovery was good and I could see out of my new lens straight after the op . Recovery was smooth and no pain at all . I will need the other eye doing sometime in the future and I will definitely be using Ed .
Mr Casswell has provided a fantastic level of consultation and care. His skill as a surgeon is exceptional and I will always be great full to him for restoring sight in my left eye after a detached retina.
Excellent information and follow-up oucome for me. I am delighted. Es. Knowing there will still be improvements with my sight as further healing and adjustment occurs
Staff were friendly, pleasant and informative. I had a few questions which were answered fully and with patience. The two fellow patients I chatted with a different locations, seemed relaxed and content with their treatment. Overall my various visits have been positive experiences.

I can’t speak highly enough of every aspect of the surgery and after care that I received from Ed Casswell. His skill in the operation and foresight in how best to treat my particular retinal detachment literally saved the sight in my left eye. I will be forever grateful that I was in such excellent hands.
Ed Caswell is a highly skilled eye surgeon. Very supportive of patients.
