This was my first visit with Mr Mukhtar to discuss what I believed was a chronic UTI and a stricture following my earlier treatment for advanced cancer of the prostate. I cannot fault Mr Mukhtar's response and we were soon chatting away like old friends. Unfortunately, it turned out after the scan that the real problem was bladder stones not a UTI. On my follow up visit Mr Mukhtar was very good in explaining that a much more serious operation was required and what would be involved.

I visited Mr. Mukhtar at Chilton Hospital. His greeting was professional and welcoming, immediately setting me at ease. The consultation did not feel rushed and provided ample opportunity for me to share my concerns. He was engaged throughout the process and did not speak ‘down’ to me - as has been my experience with other consultants. He explained everything very clearly and provided options for the future at the follow up consultation. Overall I was very satisfied and would be happy to recommend. Thank you.
