Mr Mukhtar was excellent. From bookings, follow ups explanation of whats happening intermally and.then the surgery itself. Very tentative and considerate of me as a patient and ensured i understood all detail before decisions were made. I would trust him again with my kidney stones.

Today I went to the doctors because I had concerns about frequent urination and was worried about possible bladder issues or cysts. From the moment I arrived, the doctor was absolutely brilliant. He took the time to understand everything properly, asked the right questions, listened carefully and, most importantly, remained incredibly calm and reassuring throughout. He arranged a full blood count, radiology investigations and a full-bladder appointment and check to make sure everything was thoroughly assessed. I was particularly nervous about having the flexible endoscopy. I was genuinely worried beforehand, but the doctor’s calm and reassuring manner made such a difference. He explained what he was doing, kept me relaxed throughout, and I experienced very little discomfort while he carried out the examination. Overall, I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. An outstanding doctor, an excellent private hospital, and I feel extremely grateful that I was able to have these checks carried out thoroughly and professionally. Sometimes having someone who makes you feel calm when you’re worried makes all the difference. 🙏

My son has a long-term medical issue and was losing all hope that he would improve...or anyone in the medical profession cared. From the first consultation, Mr Mukhtar has changed that. He engaged my son as a person, not a patient and has worked hard to get below the immediate issue to provide a holistic approach to both diagnosis and treatment plan. Not only has he helped physically, he has helped mentally in the immediate term, and the longer term. Always pragmatic and realistic, he has shown an understanding of my son's concerns, and mine as a parent. He has restored both our faith in the profession...which I honestly thought was lost. Professional in all matters I would not hesitate to refer others to Mr Mukhtar. Any consultant can treat the "splash" of a case......but Mt Mukhtar has really understood and helped us manage the "ripples" that impact my son beyond the "splash" too. In short, he really knows his stuff. but more than that, we were both treated as people, not patients or case numbers. He has my thanks and advocacy. His impact goes far beyond what he realises.
