Mr Saheel Mukhtar is professional and clear during patient interactions. He provides thorough explanations of conditions, procedures, and treatment options. Mr Mukhtar delivers excellent patient care and treats individuals with respect and understanding, performing procedures such as HoLEP. Patients commend his expertise in general urology, cystoscopy, and prostate cancer treatments.
Mr Mukhtar was clear, comprehensive and professional throughout. I much appreciated his willingness to answer every question, whether related directly to my HOLEP procedure or tangential.
He was extremely helpful and understood my problem and I know will be there to help when I need him.
My son has a long-term medical issue and was losing all hope that he would improve...or anyone in the medical profession cared. From the first consultation, Mr Mukhtar has changed that. He engaged my son as a person, not a patient and has worked hard to get below the immediate issue to provide a holistic approach to both diagnosis and treatment plan. Not only has he helped physically, he has helped mentally in the immediate term, and the longer term. Always pragmatic and realistic, he has shown an understanding of my son's concerns, and mine as a parent. He has restored both our faith in the profession...which I honestly thought was lost. Professional in all matters I would not hesitate to refer others to Mr Mukhtar. Any consultant can treat the "splash" of a case......but Mt Mukhtar has really understood and helped us manage the "ripples" that impact my son beyond the "splash" too. In short, he really knows his stuff. but more than that, we were both treated as people, not patients or case numbers. He has my thanks and advocacy. His impact goes far beyond what he realises.
Clear & professional advice given in a friendly manner. Overall very reassuring & put my mind at ease.
Mr Mukta Was very professional And reassuring in all the processes I went through
Mr Mukhtar was professional, friendly and easy to talk to. He explained my treatment clearly and performed the cystoscopy effectively and painlessly. I was very pleased with the care I received and would highly recommend Mr Mukhtar
I would like to express my sincere gratitude to Mr Saheel Mukhtar for his excellent care and professionalism throughout my kidney stone treatment. From my initial consultation through to the procedures and follow-up, Mr Mukhtar was extremely knowledgeable, reassuring and attentive. He took the time to explain everything clearly, answered all my questions, and made me feel confident that I was in the best possible hands. The procedure was carried out with great care, and I am very grateful for the expertise and dedication he showed throughout my treatment. His calm and compassionate approach made what could have been a very stressful experience much easier. I would highly recommend Mr Saheel Mukhtar to anyone looking for an excellent urologist. I am extremely thankful for the care I received and would like to thank him and his entire team for their support.
I waited over an hour and had not been seen by Mr Mukhtar, reception could not explain why this had happened. Other patients arrived after me and we seen promptly by MrMukhtar. Either the hospital had not inform Mr Mukhtar if my arrival or he had completely forgotten about me. I informed reception of this appalling service and left the hospital. I wrote a letter of complaint to the hospital Executive Director to which I have not receive any form of response or acknowledgement, which is contrary to their complaints process.

I'm sorry you waited an hour and left before I could see you – that's not the experience I want for any patient. As soon as I heard of your situation, I called you to apologise. The delay was because the patient before you needed extra time and care. I offered to rearrange your appointment or discuss your symptoms by phone or video call, but understand these didn't work for you at the time. I was sorry not to have been able to help with your urological concern. I should also mention reception hadn't flagged your frustration to me at the time, or I'd have looked into it sooner. For context, patients are seen in appointment order rather than arrival order, so everyone's time is treated fairly. I'd really like the chance to help – please let me know if you'd like to rebook, and I'll make sure you're seen promptly.
Mr Mukthar is an exceptionally gifted endourologist.
