I had an excellent experience at the Lindo Wing. Everyone (midwives, baby doctors, anaesthesiologists) were exceptionally calm, supportive, and reassuring throughout my stay. Every step was clearly explained, and all questions were answered with patience and care. Even with the smallest concern about my baby’s health, a neonatologist was promptly invited to carry out a full assessment, which gave me great peace of mind. I was also supported with my baby’s breast attachment immediately in the delivery room, which was incredibly helpful. The rooms are very well equipped, and during delivery both my and my baby’s heart rates were continuously monitored and carefully assessed. After the birth, we received ongoing guidance on next steps, and both my baby’s and my own health were checked frequently and thoroughly.

I have been under Mr Orlans’ care for almost a year now and have undergone multiple complex surgeries due to an unfortunate recurring retinal detachment. My most recent surgery being the 19th of January for a left cataract, Vitrectomy and removal of silicone oil. Despite the worries and concerns I’ve had, especially given my young age, my mother and I have continuously felt reassured from my consultations with Mr Orlans that every decision made was in the best interests of my health. Even following surgery and knowing the possible potential risks, I left feeling/knowing that I was in the safest possible hands and every risk was worth that extra chance. I was recommend by a local GP where I work to use Enhanced care, reason being is that for over two weeks I could not get into my own Totton GP surgery, calling and being way down the queuing order, I even went in to book an appointment and they said I have to call first thing, both local Pharmacies could do no more other than OTC meds and said you have to see your GP, I very quickly lost faith in my own doctor surgery. Thanks to Enhanced care from the initial online email to phone call, seeing the doctor all on the same day was well worth it, not only did the doctor ask about my current symptoms but also about my general heath and past issues ETC, medication same day and was feeling better within 4 days, highly recommend If your own GP surgery cant help sooner. I visited for an US abdominal and internal after NHS scan could not find my ovaries due and I was very anxious to find out if theses were causing my pain. I was fortunately referred by my GP quickly and seen the following day. The experience was totally different to the NHS one. My questions were answered rather than the NHS “you will need to speak with your doctor “ response to every question. The consultant Christina spent time to get the necessary images and did advise further scans to eliminate any issues with bowel/colon. The whole experience was very comfortable and I did not feel like I was being a nuisance by asking questions about my body!! Thank you so much. It was ++ reassuring and did also identify a condition which I may have causing the pain.

My operation was successful, Mr Paniker did an amazing job and has given me back full use of my hand. Post op, he has told me exactly what to do to keep my fingers fully functional. From my first appointment, I have been put at ease and had everything explained to me. I was very nervous about my operation, but felt reassured by my surgeon's kindness and understanding. I injured my back the week before Christmas — I could not even walk with the pain. I emailed Dr Swan over the weekend not expecting a response until Monday. I should’ve known from my previous experiences that he really cares about his patients and their outcomes so I was not surprised when he called me at home in the evening to discuss what I could do to immediately to relieve the spasm and a plan of next steps for investigations and treatment. I could not think of a safer pair of hands to be in when you are in severe pain and dealing with a spinal injury.

Everything went incredibly smoothly. As I had had a colonoscopy before I roughly knew what to expect, so there were no surprises. But what I particularly value is that Mr Ferguson, apart from being a thoroughly nice person, has an air of confidence which is reassuring. Not overconfidence like some Consultants, which can be irritating, or intimidating. One feels that one can ask him anything and you'll receive a considered, informed response. Very lucky to be in his care.

Mr Karoshi is a first class Consultant Gynecologist who I would definitely recommend to anyone with fibroid issues. He explained everything clearly from the first consultation, provided me with the all the relevant options, making sure that I understood these and giving me confidence. His surgical skills are also exceptional. He removed a large number of fibroids from me via a complicated open myomectomy surgery without issue and his follow up care was also very impressive.

The staff at the hospital were all very friendly, helpful and efficient. They understood the importance of admission for surgery to the patient and were very supportive. All of the clinical and medical staff were first class, but the support staff were also excellent. The room was clean and comfortable and I was well looked after. The menu options were very good and the food was delicious. I have no hesitation in strongly recommending this excellent hospital.

Would highly recommend Dr. Barrass. Easy to talk to and explained everything very clearly. Went to see him with some genuine prostate concerns following an MRI Scan and left with a weight off my shoulders. Also a special mention to his PA Jennifer who went above and beyond to get me an earlier appointment and getting all the relevant information delivered to Dr. Barrass in time so that our appointment could be as productive as possible. 5 stars to both.

Professor Sanderson is a very kind and enterprising man. Other doctors have either had little ideas or will to treat me. In contrast, Professor Sanderson has never given up trying to help me. It is in a large part thanks to him alone that I’m still alive. His administrative staff are also a pleasure and make sure I’m well looked after. Do contact them if you are considering it. It will probably be one of the best things you ever do.

It was painless, over so quickly, the consultant Ayad Shafiq was talking to me all the time and the nurse I Fiona was with me throughout everything, even holding my hand through the procedure.
