Professor Miranda made me feel at ease as soon as we met for the first time. He looked at the problem with my hand and explained that it was something called Dupuytrens Constriction and that it was possible to improve my hand shape by an operation. He explained in detail the procedure for an operation which I then agreed to. All went well a now 2 months after the operation and with the necessary physiotherapist, the finger that was bent is now straight and not giving me pain any more. I would recommend anyone to Professor Miranda for any surgery required on their hands. He was kind, understanding and had a sense of humour, my whole experience was made easy by his demeanour.

De Hughhes has provided excellent care before and after procedures on my ear and nose. The overall experience has been positive and my day to day life has been improved after the intervention. I spent 3 days at the Royal Free PPU as an in-patient following major surgery and I have nothing but praise for the treatment I recieved from start to finish. My surgery was scheduled speedily, the operation went as well as hoped, and all of the PPU team members who took care of me - Consultants, Doctors, Nurses, Healthcare Assistants and Housekeeping - were professional but at the same time, kind and reassuring. I was really anxious about the surgery and for me, the care that I received as an in-patient, made the whole experience so much less stressful.

I was “plagued” with psoriasis on my elbows and forearms for the last year or so (I am a 60 year old male). I never suffered from psoriasis before. It was getting me down and I wouldn’t wear short sleeves. I made an appointment with Dr Rosy and she examined me and gave me a prescription and hey presto my psoriasis has “gone” after 4 weeks usage of prescribed spray. As per Dr Rosy it will come back but I should use spray as required when psoriasis returns. I am absolutely 100% confident now of wearing short sleeves. I am so thankful 🙏

I am extremely pleased with the service provided by Mr Floyd. My old breast implants had ruptured some time ago and needed replacing, but I was very apprehensive about having the surgery because of my age (senior!). In the event, everything went really well. Mr Floyd explained the options clearly, and was reassuring about my concerns. The surgery went smoothly and six weeks later, I feel back to normal. I’m very happy with the outcome - my breasts now look and feel much more natural and comfortable, as well as more age appropriate.

I received shoulder surgery and was able to be discharged the same day. All of the nursing staff were friendly and informative, the physio treatment and advice was informative. All the staff I came across were very friendly. I especially enjoyed the roast dinner which was hot when served (a new experience). I would highly recommend Mr Khan and the London Independent hospital.

I had been experiencing problems with my thumb and knees, tried various things including thumb splint. Saw Dr James Thing and must say the experience start to finish was excellent, pinpointed problem areas and carried out scan and targeted areas that were problem and treated, now no longer need splin or pain relief. So much more movement in knees too. Would highly recommend.
