As a business owner and mum of 2 it is vital that I keep operating as close to my A Game as I can. As a result I have been trying to find both the optimal HRT for me personally - and also the best provider/ clinic I can find. I started with the NHS and my local doctor which quickly didn’t feel bespoke or targeted enough for my hormonal needs or personalised in the approach. I then registered with an online menopause clinic and worked thru them for over a year. The HRT felt much better however it was a logistical challenge. HRT was sent thru the post and took 2 weeks to arrive. If you missed/ had to reschedule an online appointment/ blood test (which with a business and kids happens regularly) it had ramifications so I would find myself running out of HRT with a 2 week stretch ahead of me. This just didn’t work with my job where I am client facing and needing to know that I am feeling grounded, confident and not overwhelmed / severely anxious. Another problem I found was that the online clinic wasn’t conferring with my NHS doctor so my records were not up to date which felt concerning. I have private health and know how close the private doctors work with the NHS so this raised alarm bells to me. It was in one of these periods when I was about to go into a work trip with no HRT that in my desperation I saw an advert for Dr Kemp. I booked an appointment with her and the process felt so personalised and easy. The consultation was surprisingly in depth (much more so than the online clinic). I realised after the consultation the importance of working with a medical professional who can take a holistic view of your health as a female - not just focussing on your hormones. I realised during the call that I was behind on my mammogram - and also have since the call booked myself in for therapy in the advice of Dr Kemp. She asked for a blood test - and prescribed a new variation of HRT with clear instructions on how to use. The prescription was emailed direct to me within a few hours and I could use my local chemist to action it. This felt so liberating being able to pick up within hours as oppose to waiting for a few weeks. Dr Kemp sent me the notes from our conversation with her suggested next step actions - which prompted me to both book the mammogram and therapy. And has checked in a number of times since. She also sent a letter to my NHS doctor and logged both the recommendations and HRT prescription. As a result if I need some urgently and I can’t contact Dr Kemp I can now go direct to my NHS doctor and ask them to prescribe. I feel I have finally found the set up and professional I need to be able to navigate myself through the perimenopause and menopause whilst maintaining the responsibilities I have in my life. I’ve realised how anxious I have been previously not feeling like I have a medical professional and HRT available to me - and I feel so relieved that I’ve been able to find the set up with Dr Kemp. No matter what the menopause continues to bring up/ throw at me I know I can face it head on - with my optimum health and mind set - with the advice of Dr Kemp helping me maintain my emotional and physical strength.

Choosing Cleveland Clinic London for my endometriosis surgery was one of the most transformative decisions of my life. He is one of those rare doctors who combine world-class surgical skill with genuine compassion. What he achieved in the operating room still amazes me. Although I was originally diagnosed with milder endometriosis, once the surgery began it turned out to be stage 4 — something that often can only be discovered during laparoscopy, because deep infiltrating lesions simply cannot be seen on scans. This can happen “out of the blue,” and it did in my case. Yet even with this unexpected complexity, Dr Mabrouk removed every single trace of disease with exceptional precision: • My ovarian reserve was fully preserved. • None of my organs were damaged. • Not even a single blood vessel was touched. This level of surgical accuracy is incredibly rare for stage 4 cases. Many women lose organs or face complications, but he protected every part of my body. His steadiness, confidence, and expertise are on a completely different level. But beyond his skill, what touched me most was his kindness. He explained everything patiently, made me feel safe, and even called me personally after the surgery — including on weekends — just to check on me. He is a doctor with a huge heart. My anesthesiologist, Jeremy R. Prout, was equally exceptional — calm, reassuring, and so professional that I felt safe even in the most vulnerable moment before going under. The nursing team was unbelievable. They checked on me day and night, looked after my pain management, took tests, reassured me constantly, and treated me with so much warmth. They didn’t just do their job — they cared. After discharge, the nurses continued to support me over the phone, checking on my recovery and symptoms. They even provided me with all the medication I needed to take home, which made everything easier and much less stressful. The hospital itself felt peaceful, clean, luxurious — beautiful private rooms, delicious food available at any time, and a calm atmosphere that truly helps recovery. Now, one month after my complex robotic surgery, I can say something I never thought I would again: my physical and mental health is finally restored. I have no pain. I feel light and calm. My body feels healthy for the first time in years. My mind feels peaceful. Cleveland Clinic London, Dr Mohamed Mabrouk didn’t just treat my illness, he gave me my life back. I recommend him and the team and clinic with my whole heart.

I began seeing Mr Karoshi after struggling to regain my period and following an NHS scan that detected an ovarian cyst. From the very first appointment, he was incredibly thorough, organising additional blood tests and scans to ensure we fully understood the situation before making any decisions. Mr Karoshi explains medical information very clearly and breaks everything down in a way that is easy to understand. He always took the time to listen, never rushed me, and patiently answered every one of my (many) questions. When it came to managing my cyst, Mr Karoshi outlined all possible options and explained the risks and benefits. He ensured I understood the different approaches and made me feel fully involved in my care. After some time, I decided to proceed with surgery, a decision I felt completely confident about because of his guidance and knowing I would be under his care. The surgery went smoothly, and Mr Karoshi took the time to check in with me immediately afterwards, again the next morning, and arranged a follow up appointment two weeks later. I am extremely grateful for the care I have received and feel very fortunate to have found Mr Karoshi. I couldn't recommend him more highly!

I had an excellent experience at Nuffield Hospital Guildford. The hospital was very easy to find, and the reception team were welcoming and efficient. Check-in was quick, and within a few minutes I was seen by the doctor, which was impressive. The facilities were modern and spotless, with a comfortable waiting area and both hot and cold drinks available. The building itself feels contemporary and well maintained, creating a calm and professional environment. The staff were courteous, organised, and clearly experienced, which gave me confidence throughout my visit. Overall, a very smooth and professional experience from start to finish. I would highly recommend Nuffield Hospital Guildford.

I’ve been visiting this hospital for more than 45 years, and always had a most positive experience. From the Porters and Reception team to their Consultants and Physiotherapists, they are impossible to fault. On my most recent visit, I visited the imaging department, and was scanned by the amazing Dr Clare Allen, and her team. She was the personification of professionalism, yet also one of the most empathetic Consultants I have ever come across. I can’t recommend her or her team, more highly.

With Dr Ahmad's supervision and dedication i am now living with my Diabetes within 'normal' parameters which is a huge bonus.
