He has been completely honest throughout, managing my expectations while validating my pain, truly listening, and offering guidance far beyond anything I have experienced with other doctors. His calm yet transparent approach immediately put me at ease. I am now six weeks post-op and feel better than I have in years. Even in the recovery room, I knew the main source of my pain was gone. Hearing the words, “We’ve managed to excise all of the endometriosis and the chance of recurrence is small,” was indescribable. I finally have my life back, and I will never take that for granted.

I was diagnosed with gallstones and suffered with many infections. I had many admissions in hospital and had attempted surgery. They could not remove my gallbladder due to being stuck to my bowel. When in hospital I was told the only surgeon who could possibly do my surgery was Mr Karamanakos. I visited him in his private clinic and I was pleasantly surprised by his kind nature and professionalism. He took his time to review my scans and plan my procedure. He explained in details what he will do and what I should expect. On the day of the surgery he explained again the surgery and answered all of my questions. The operation was successful and done with small cuts. My recovery was smooth and fast. Mr Karamanakos was regularly checking me and on our final appointment he reassured me of the excellent result. I am so grateful to him and his secretary. I was very nervous but made my journey pleasant. Thank you so much.

Initial experience poor. Arrived at reception, receptionist was on the phone. When call ended she walked away to do some admin. No 'Be with you in a moment'. When she came back, no smile and 'Welcome to One Hatfield' Just 'Have you been here before?' 'No' Well here's a form to fill in'. Felt a nuisance getting in the way of her important phone calls and administration work. Waiting area tired looking, main circular seating area looked like it needed a good clean. Strange seating arrangement with very narrow gaps to get through into main area. People called for their appointments from different directions and hard to hear names being called. Consultant seen was excellent, which raised the end experience overall. But not enough to make up for the indifferent receptionist.

I was really please with the quality of service at Medneo Great Portlane Street and the speed at which I got my results. The medics seemed very professional and made me feel calm. I wish I'd used the service sooner as before getting a private MRI which I paid for myself I had had a number of physio treatments and exercise plans which may my injury worse due to them not knowing what was actually wrong. They were working blind as it were. And the NHS wouldn't put me on a waiting list for a MRI through them. I got a 3T scan which I believe shows a bit more than a 1.5 scanner which cast me £299. If you can afford it it might be the right choice for you. I would definitely go to these people to have a scan again if I develop another injury.

After my atrial fibrillation (AFib) diagnosis, I booked an appointment with Dr Davies at the Park Hospital. He explained the treatment options: medication, a cardioversion (an electrical reset of the heart), or an ablation. His manner and experience are second to none. He helped me understand the options and I decided upon the RF ablation using the new state of the art facility at the Park. Dr Davies and his brilliant team carried out the procedure and the ITU aftercare team were equally impressive. I’m very pleased to say it went well and heart is now back in normal sinus rhythm, and I’m expected to make a full recovery. I would have no hesitation in highly recommending Dr Davies and everyone at the Park Hospital.

I would highly recommend Mr. Simon Radley. He is down to earth, gentle and understanding of a very delicate matter. He instantly put me at ease with his care and never rushed. He is professional, thorough, explained what my procedure entailed and answered any questions/concerns I had. He has an excellent bedside manner too. It’s not been long since I had my operation, but I’m hoping the results are successful. Keely (Mr. Radley’s medical secretary) is brilliant - she is very efficient and kept me updated with correspondence. The staff at The Harborne Hospital are polite, friendly and very caring. Thank you all for looking after me.

Ms Haque was wiling to explore different avenues in diagnosing me. She was quick to follow up and made sure I was feeling better after the treatment. After a difficult procedure, she let me take it easy and lie down until I felt better. She is an empathetic practitioner, with a lot of experience and professionalism. The only thing I would say the clinic could improve on is communications ahead of the appointment. I think I could have been better prepped for the duration and pain involved in the procedure. Also on my initial visit the clinic didn’t have my medical history which I did submit ahead of time.

Waiting over 60 minutes for an appointment that you schedule and pay for is quite poor. The excuse I got is gynaecologist appointments take longer. Okay, then play’ 30-60 mins between slots to allow for adequate timing. I had to get out of work and work the extra time that had I been offered the actual appointment time I wouldn’t have had to do that. Change your gynaecologist appointments calendar please
