Everything great, but I would suggest that the reception team focus on the clients in front of them, rather than managing the phones at the same time – I wonder if phones could be managed somewhere away from reception, as every time I had to go back to the desk or passed it by there were people standing waiting being ignored because the reception team we’re doing other things, which doesn’t make a great first impression or mean that people feel cared about or important. This was the case at both the main entrance reception and the outpatient reception. Again, everything was great and everybody was lovely. But also to say that I was asked to come early but not told that I would be having an x-ray in advance, so I arrived 15 minutes prior to my appointment, then had to go for my x-ray and ended up not being seen until 40 minutes past my appointment time, which was the original time, before they moved it to an earlier slot! It didn’t really matter on this occasion, but it’s just a little inefficient and it would’ve been nice to have some clarity as to what to expect when I arrived and I could’ve also arrived in time for the x-ray prior to my appointment had I’ve been told, also I could’ve filled the forms in prior to arriving if they’ve been emailed. No complaints about anything though, and very happy with the service and care overall

I'm still working with Karima, but I felt I wanted to share how much has shifted already. I came to therapy struggling with anger issues and relational trauma that was affecting every relationship in my life, particularly with my family. Karima has been brilliant at helping me understand where the anger comes from and, more importantly, how to work with it rather than being controlled by it. She's patient, non-judgemental, and has this way of helping you see patterns without making you feel criticised. The real measure of progress for me is this: I'm actually looking forward to spending Christmas with my family this year. In previous years, I'd dread it - the tension, the miscommunication, feeling misunderstood or easily triggered. But the work I've done with Karima has genuinely changed how I communicate with them and how I manage my reactions. I know I've still got work to do, but for the first time in a long time, I feel hopeful about my relationships and like I'm not constantly battling with myself. If you're struggling with anger or family dynamics, I can't recommend Karima highly enough.

On visiting consultant Subhajit Ghosh a prescription was given to the nurse to be ordered for my next appointment as it was something that was not kept in stock at OSD. I needed to check my diary to see if I could make this next appointment at OSD Healthcare in Hemel Hempstead to have the prescription or, see the consultant at Spire Hospital on another day. On checking my diary I found I could make it and I phoned and arranged an appointment with Subhajit Ghosh. Unfortunately, the prescription had not been ordered so when I turned up for my next appointment I was unable to have my treatment and I would have to see him again another time. I appreciate mix ups happen but thought OSD Healthcare should check their procedures in instances such as this, so that prescriptions are ordered once patients have confirmed they can make future appointments.

I recently underwent FESS surgery and saw Mr Hettige for my post operative assessment. The appointment was brief as my recovery has been good. Mr Hettige used a nasal endoscope to view the areas operated on. As with all appointments with Mr Hettige it was all very professional and I felt assured at every step. If you are considering private treatment in the ENT area, I would highly recommend Mr Hettige. He is an excellent consultant. He’s obviously an expert in his field but his personal manner and communications are excellent also. My sinus issues are vastly improved following the surgery and I had been pretty poorly so I am delighted with the result.

I met Dr David Annan today for a neck scan, I have to say I have never met a doctor who is so caring and understanding in my whole life He made me feel so comfortable as I was nervous, he kept asking if I had any questions and answered all my questions, he even asked my son if he wanted to ask anything which was such a nice gesture, Doctors like Dr David Annan really make you feel there are nice and caring people still out there, his happy personality really shines through Keep up the good work Dr David Annan and all the best for the future If in the future I ever need to see a Dr for my neck will only be you

My stay at Abbeycare Gloucester was exactly what I needed to aid my recovery. I arrived feeling hopeless and desperate. I felt safe and calm during my time here. The staff are so caring and understanding, while challenging the thinking and behaviors that got me here in the first place. This is my first time at Abbeycare but my 2nd time in rehab. Abbeycare is streets ahead of my previous experience. In that I left feeling more equipped to deal with life sober and supported. They have a strong aftercare program and community which I will use as part of my recovery journey. 10/10 from me. Rich W

Overall a good experience except the wait time for the report. The clinicians were professional and friendly. The administration staff were also professional and helpful. The reports are very thorough, clear and professional. The report was over 4 weeks past the date it was expected / had been told. This proved to be extremely stressful. For me it would have been better to advertise a longer wait time and deliver it sooner rather than the other way around. Of course I accept that delays can occur. Overall a good experience and would recommend. Thank you.

I waited longer than usual for my appointment but Mr Sharma was very apologetic. He examined and more importantly listened to me about my concerns. The follow up letter arrived promptly so action could be taken. He gave me a referral for an appointment to have steroid injection which I obtained within 24 hrs. Sadly the referral letter had a couple of mistakes but these were rectified very quickly. Very impressed with the process and we are all individuals so mistakes can happen.

I underwent a HoLEP operation carried out by Mr Brewin and his team. Both the operation and my recovery have been excellent. Due to potential complications, in the event there were none, the operation was carried out in Salisbury NHS Hospital. Again the staff were friendly and helpful but circumstances at the time in the recovery ward resulted in the washroom facilities being less than acceptably clean.

I called during a flu pandemic and was able to get a sameday appointment based on my symptoms and concerns. Dr Ratheesh explained the possible procedures and potential outcomes to me so I felt at ease and relaxed. I was nervous prior to meeting the Dr and have left the surgery relieved and happy. Can’t fault any part of the process I followed today and am very pleased with my outcome.

Dr Northcote was very polite and cheery when arriving. He went over what I was in for and explained everything quite clearly what was going to happen. He was reassuring as I was rather worried about the procedure. After the procedure Dr Northcote returned to see how I got on and how I was. Had a chat about about the actual operation I was to get in January.
