I saw Mr. Al-Tawil who recommended first non-surgical interventions with great specialists. Unfortunately these didn't work and he did a volar plate release surgery for my hand injury. The result was very good. I've regained 80% of my extension, no longer have any pain, and the scar has disappeared only a couple months later. He was very thorough about all the pros and cons throughout my journey and I felt very prepared. He's a great surgeon.

I’m a quite nervous patient and I always inform staff of that plus the fact that I’m on blood thinners! The nurse putting in the cannula took ages and it felt sore! However as I don’t look at the needle going in I didn’t realise what was happening until another nurse saw through the window and came rushing in and pulled the rubber tourniquet off my arm!
