An almost pleasant experience.. This was my second eye & much of the stress of the unknown before the previous op was now almost non-existent. All the staff were kind & patient, the chocolate machine quality was a delight, & the Uber staff & service faultless. And the driving conditions that day were foul. The result of both ops is miraculous, the best vision I can remember, the deterioration being so slow over an 83 yo healthy life one gets used to necessary adaption for daily living. Hence the pleasant shock of almost total renewal is delightful. I am very grateful to you(If you are Ruben, the surgeon who did both my ops so well) , Mr Saruban Pasu ? I was lucky in being given the choice of two names that day, & I specifically requested if possible Ruben, who did it, & I thanked him personally. We briefly spoke but he was dressed in green & I'm not good with faces re the photo. I was surprised by the change between the 2 ops of the new "dropless aftercare". This is so much easier for everyone. The pro cedure of a drop every 3 hours per day for 5 weeks with a spreadsheet gave me no confusion, but can understand the many pitfalls inherent for busier or more distracted patients & the possible bad results. The one injection, under the op anesthetic is really a win-win advance. I am now one week after, with wonderful results, almost totally clear & realigned to single focus.. I can see car number plates again, an essential for a driver ! (It was the Optician who persuaded me to have the first op as I was almost driving-illegal on the test). I've been seeing Erin at PSM since March 2025 - she is by far the best physio I’ve ever worked with. When first starting treatment, I had no idea of what was wrong – just a feeling of being ‘uneven’. By November, I’m pain-free and have a far better understanding of my body and how to look after myself for years to come. I was referred to Erin by another member of staff at PSM clinic who said she was one of the best – and they were absolutely right. From the start, she took the time to understand how I was feeling, carried out detailed tests, and quickly identified the root of the issue. Over the past six months, we’ve worked together to strengthen my shoulders and back through a tailored mix of gym and mobility exercises. Erin has gone above and beyond to adapt my programme as I’ve progressed, and I genuinely feel the difference. Whilst Erin was on holiday, she arranged cover with Cam, who was brilliant at answering my questions and fine-tuning my programme – his knowledge was greatly appreciated. The wider PSM team, including Morgan and Ellie, have also been fantastic – always welcoming, friendly, and incredibly helpful, especially with my medical insurance.

I recently had an L4/L5 XLIF spinal fusion performed by Mr. Kazzaz, and I’m very happy with the outcome. Before the surgery, I was struggling with ongoing leg pain that affected my day-to-day life. From my first consultation, Mr. Kazzaz was professional, kind, and reassuring. He explained everything clearly, answered all my questions, and made me feel confident and well cared for throughout the process. The surgery went smoothly, and my recovery has been excellent. My pain and nerve symptoms have improved significantly, and I feel much more comfortable and can’t believe how much more I feel like my old self. I’m very grateful for Mr. Kazzaz’s skill, expertise, and genuine care. I would highly recommend him to anyone considering spinal surgery. I cannot leave a review for the wonderful Mr Kazzaz without mentioning his Secretary Vanda! The combined team made me feel heard and supported and Vanda made sure my concerns and questions were answered quickly and I was always reassured that there is no such thing as a silly question.

I walked into Abbington House at rock bottom physically and mentally. The staff were very friendly, understanding, caring and reassuring. Making me feel calm and at ease. I have made significant progress and I am leaving a different person with new tools and knowledge to help me succeed on the journey. The Abbington House clients made me feel welcome and included, extremely friendly and I am grateful to have made many friends in the 5 weeks I have been here. My incredible therapist listened, un-judgmental and emphatic to me, who's care was brilliant and I will not forget the unreplaceable advice given to me. My advice from a former patient here is if you are wiling to work hard for your recovery, you have all the tools, great professionals and environment available to you.

I was called into his room by the nurse. He entered from the adjacent room and greeted me with a smile. He asked me how I was feeling after knee replacement which was two months after the surgery. He looked at the operated knee and told me to move it straight as much as I can. And than the other knee. He was very happy with the movement and was happy as I had done all the exercises regularly. He was happy to discharge me . He told me I will be contacted by a nurse in six months. He shook my hand and smiling I left the room. In his presence I was very comfortable. Very caring and professional.

We recently had Seni as our consultant for my wife’s pregnancy. Whilst we were going down the midwife led route we had to get Seni involved beforehand to discuss any potential issues and also he was needed for the birth of the baby. I can’t recommend him enough, he made us all feel very at ease and calm which is exactly what you want when your wife is giving birth. His instructions were excellent and he went about his business very professionally and my wife and I were very impressed with him. He haa a very dry sense of humour too which went down a treat. Can’t recommend enough.

From the outset, Dr Finlay was welcoming, friendly and empathetic and this allowed for frank and clear discussions about my situation. I had arrived with understandable anxieties but, by clearly explaining the issues , he was able to put the tests and assessments ahead in a more realistic and reassuring light. I was impressed by the care he took to explain the nature of the problem I was experiencing and also about the tests and treatments he was proposing.

Initial consultation explained that I would require a half knee replacement, the operation was carried out successfully with only one night in hospital, I was able to walk without crutches after 2 weeks. Now six weeks later I am using an exercise bike as recommended by physio with continued improvement. I fully recommend Mr Hersh Deo who l have found to be an excellent surgeon and has been professional throughout my knee surgery.

I had an excellent experience with London Blood Test. Booking was fast, the clinic was easy to find, and the staff were warm and professional. The phlebotomist was very gentle and explained every step, which made the whole process surprisingly comfortable. Results arrived quickly and were clearly laid out, with helpful notes that made them easy to understand. Overall, efficient, friendly, and reliable service. Highly recommend.

I visited Dr Nicolaou for a pain management plan. We firstly took a conservative approach to pain as he was very holistic about his treatment which I believe is brilliant care. Next, we decided that injections were the way forward. As I have very difficult veins to draw blood from, Prof Rakhit recommended that I should ask for Andrew in the phlebotomy department....which I did. They were very helpful in helping me to come in at a time when he would be there. Andrew was brilliant. He managed to find a vein without any trouble and I hardly felt the needle! My thanks to everyone for making this a much less stressful experience than it usually is!

Downstairs work being done to the building. Noisy and lots of stuff/materials over the waiting room floor. I found the whole experience poor considering this is a private paying surgery. I understand the work needs to be done, however for a patient it is not ideal by a long shot. Not a relaxing atmosphere or acceptable. This is the second time I have been and the same building work being done.

Had MRI scan had to wait c30 mins later than booked time. Person after me was c50 mins after booked time. This was immediately in the morning (8:45am) as well so something went wrong. Perhaps need to stagged appointments and leave larger gaps between clients to give some slack other wise can get big delays down the line (me 30mins next person 50mins)
