I have been unwell with digestion issues for a number of years. Over that time I had been referred for staggered tests and procedures and nothing ever came from it. I was referred to Ruth by a consultant and, after having my first appointment, a discomfort that I had for three years had completely gone within a month. I had never been referred to a dietitian before and I didn’t know what to expect, with Ruth’s expertise we have narrowed my issue down to an undiagnosed intolerance. For me, another part of this experience that has been very valuable is that Ruth will go out her way to ensure tests and results run smoothly which has eliminated a lot of stress between appointments. I can honestly say I am very happy with the improvements that have been made it’s such a short period of time.

I went to see Ruth as I was diagnosed with type 2 Diabetes last year but have also had Bowel obstruction so just didn’t know what to eat. The NHS dieticians were not interested in seeing me. Ruth was stern but in a very pleasant kind way. Her advice has meant in 3 months my blood sugar level has gone from 7.6% to 7% I’m now on the right path and will continue with Ruth’s advice. I would highly recommend her.

Ruth has been really supportive & has always been on call to offer her advice. I've had symptoms for a long time, and it is the first time I feel as though someone is invested in helping me. We have been down a few different routes which has been helpful and I now feel more confident in this getting sorted.

Ruth is clearly very experienced and knowledgeable and has really helped me with my IBS symptoms. She explains why she is recommending certain things, and gives good recommendations that are then easy to action. She is very detailed and follows up on all aspects of her advice, to understand how it has or hasn't helped.

The advice I received from Ruth was extremely relevant and contributed greatly in achieving an improvement tin my symptoms. Ruth was just brilliant. She listened very carefully to all my concerns. She addressed each issue and provided options to resolve them . Additionally, she gave me recipies and suggested tge use of the Nerva app, which have been invaluable. Thoroughly professional and extremely kind and very quick to respond. So impressed and feel very lucky to have been able to see her.
