The service I received from Dr Elgheriany was personalised, tailored, kind, positive and an exemplar for how to treat IVF patients with chronic endometriosis. He is incredibly knowledgeable about endometriosis and adenomyosis and explained everything so clearly at every stage, always backed up by the latest research. His results speak for themselves - I had several rounds of IVF at a different provider but it wasn't until the first transfer I had with an embryo created at the Evewell that I succeeded in becoming pregnant. Dr Elgheriany also taught me more about endo in our initial twenty minute consultation than I'd ever been told in several years before that by multiple different healthcare professionals, and his advice helped me change my diet and pain management habits to such a degree that my symptoms are now minimal to non-existent for the first time since I was 11 years old. I've had two operations to help manage stage 4 endometriosis in the past, including the removal of both of my fallopian tubes, but nothing has helped as much as this.

I am a very active 51 year old man and Mr Atkinson fixed my medial meniscus tear which had been obstructing movement in my leg. After 8 weeks I am back swimming, practicing Yoga 5 times a week (all poses including deep squats and child pose) and I also started kick boxing again. I will be training jiu jitsu again in a week's time. I also climbed the stairs at Highgate tube station this week - all 100 of them - without any pain or locking. I had a very good experience with Mr Atkinson. From initial to final consultation I was very happy with the care given to me. In fact my girlfriend who is also a doctor was very impressed by Mr Atkinson's knowledge on a variety of questions she asked. He was very accommodating of her as well allowing her to talk to him on the phone and with me in my final consultation. I had an excellent experience at Nuffield Hospital Guildford. The hospital was very easy to find, and the reception team were welcoming and efficient. Check-in was quick, and within a few minutes I was seen by the doctor, which was impressive. The facilities were modern and spotless, with a comfortable waiting area and both hot and cold drinks available. The building itself feels contemporary and well maintained, creating a calm and professional environment. The staff were courteous, organised, and clearly experienced, which gave me confidence throughout my visit. Overall, a very smooth and professional experience from start to finish. My first appointment was cancelled by the clinic this was after telling me to pay the fee upfront and re booked two weeks later. I arrived on time for my appointment and was told there would be a delay again. After waiting for sometime I asked the staff to find out what the delay was I was then seen by the clinician half an hour later. My experience with the clinician I felt was not worth the fee. I was not examined correctly I was not given any advice as to how to deal with the issue and the letter I received afterwards was not very accurate or informative. So I would not go back again or recommend.

It’s always good to talk to Professor Field. He explained the process of fitting my hip replacement clearly and I saw an X-ray of my hip with the implant in place. He explained that new bone would grow round the ball. I have had no problems at all with my new hip replacement. Professor Field was happy with my movement in the joint and my walking. I am happy too. He is always happy to answer questions and it’s a pleasure to see him. I am going for a final check in 6 months. Already my hip feels very good and I am walking well. This is marvellous after a year of pain, frustration and depression.

My surgeon was Shohista Saidkasimova and she was really wonderful. She put me at ease during the initial consultation, extremely interested in all my questions and explaining all items of the surgery in layman’s terms. During the operation she asked what kind of music I liked and supplied this in the background, not intrusively but loud enough to provide an excellent distraction. But what really impressed me was the way she interacted with me personally throughout the operation. I have nothing but praise for this lovely lady and would throughly recommend her.

Thereafter I had very detailed tests carried out by a female Optometrist who is very knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. Finally I had further tests and this was followed by the laser treatment by Mr Best who exudes absolute professional brilliance and is very reassuring explaining everything in detail.
