I visited the Well Life Clinic as I had been diagnosed with ADHD three years ago and since then I have not received any treatment. This was not through any lack of trying with the NHS, and the good efforts of my local GP. The waiting list for ADHD diagnosis and treatment is getting longer and longer, with a minimum three years or more, which is a national situation for ADHD diagnosed patients, as was shown on Television recently, with Well Life and Dr Kahn featuring. I then I decided that I would try the private route, and visited the Well Life Clinic in Cobham, which is a path I would recommend to any ADHD patient in my situation. Your charming receptionists were most welcoming, polite, informative and efficient. They listened to my ADHD situation, and that I had already been diagnosed three years previously and that i had all the comprehensive documentation of my diagnosis, which they asked me to forward to them. Once my details had been taken, they said they would forward everything to the appropriate person, who would contact me. Communication at Well Life is swift and I received follow up emails and phone calls as the process advanced. If I popped into the Cobham Clinic any questions I had were answered efficiently. Excellent. Things advanced quickly, my diagnosis documentation was read and accepted by the Well Life Consultantsmand a consultation with Dr Kahn set up in Oxted. I have had two consultations with Dr Kahn, one in person in Oxted, and one on line. My first one was 40 minutes at the Well Life Oxted Clinic. It was an in-depth discussion, I had to have a blood test next day in Cobham, and within a week I was prescribed the necessary medication for my blood pressure, then after monitoring that for a week, the ADHD medication was prescribed. Dr Kahn is excellent, informative, experienced and explains everything so clearly and well. One feels that one is in the best of hands. The Clinics are excellent, clean and smart. All the staff, most welcoming and efficient, in person as well as on the phone. Emails are always sent promptly, as are reminders of appointments, or electronic sending of prescriptions. I highly recommend Well Life to anyone who wishes to be seen quickly and efficiently. Thank you for your care! Steven R.

I had an initial appointment with Dr Lauren Colquhoun and Emily Holt at Willow Health, and honestly, it was such a positive experience. The appointment was meant to be an hour, but there was absolutely no rush and they actually spent around 1 hour 15 minutes with me just to make sure everything was covered properly. They really look at everything, my age, lifestyle including diet, exercise and sleep pattern, my long-term health conditions, and all the symptoms I’ve been struggling with. They didn’t rush me at all. They gave me some initial ideas to get started and said we’d talk through options once I’d had time to think things over and review the follow up materials, which I really appreciated. I left feeling genuinely supported and reassured. It was the first time in a long while that I felt confident I was getting the right advice, something you just don’t get in a 10-minute GP appointment. Would 100% recommend Willow Health to anyone needing proper advice, guidance and support.

It was a pleasure to meet with Matt Wright again following our consultations and procedures in 2019 and before, when he cured my atrial fibrillation. Thanks to his specialist care, I have been able to successfully carry on running my antique business from my gallery in Pimlico.. Accordingly, it was very reassuring to discover that he had recognised my name after my recent visit to A and E at St Thomases and had been advising on further tests and treatment following the analysis of my seven day monitor. Having explained to him that I had stopped taking the prescribed Bisoprolol 2.5 mg after three days, as it very quickly took my blood pressure down to 50, he recommended that I re-start on 1.25 mg. This reduction appears to have so far done the trick, as my pulse has dropped to mid 60s which is bearable. In conclusion I am so relieved to once again know that Matt is keeping an eye on me and that his ear is available should I need reassurance.

St Joseph’s Hospital

I was at St Josephs for a repair to the rotator cuff of my right shoulder. Admission was at 11:00 hrs and I was shown to a private room with ensuite bathroom, bed, easy chair and TV with Internet and Sky access. A nurse took a set of observations and both the surgeon and anaesthetist came in to discuss my surgery and confirm my consent. At 12:00 I walked in gown and slippers to the operating theatre and once on the operating table I was connected to various monitors. A pre med drug was injected via a canula on the back of my right hand. At 13:00hrs I woke up in the recovery room with the operation complete. After a short while my bed was wheeled back to my room. Further sets of observations were taken and later I was given my choice of post op snack and coffee. A physio came to see me and gave me a sheet of recommended exercises. At 19:00 my daughter arrived to take me home. I was happy with all aspects of the day.

Nick is absolutely brilliant at his job (consultation wise and surgically) but more so is a genuinely caring individual that ensures any decision you take is well thought through and well informed. I discussed different concerns and issues with Nick several times and never felt difficult or rushed into a decision where it may result in surgery. I would recommend Nick 10 times over any other medical professional I've dealt with. Mr Wong is an excellent gynaecologist. He listens, asks the right questions, and explains every step in clear language. You feel comfortable the moment you walk in because he treats you with respect and patience. He does not rush you. He checks that you understand your options. Arrived in good time but parking was appalling. No toilet in the temporary scanner, so had to find another in main building. Was a little out of breath in return and was sent straight in. Told to stay still, but was still breathing a little hard which wasn’t taken into account. The staff were pleasant but seemed to give up on me when I couldn’t hear instructions through the headphones (I had been told to wear ear protection buds underneath).

I found fiztwilliam more helpful than the Boston West. After the operation the Boston west did not give me crutches to walk to the recovery chair, they did not ensure I had been to the toilet before leaving and I was walking out of the building 30 minutes after waking from the operation. Fiztwilliam was excellent as was Dr Kurup.
