I was recently operated on by Mr. Bhardwaj at the Woodland hospital near Kettering. It was a laparoscopic surgery to remove my gall bladder. I had met Mr Bhardwaj for an appointment earlier this year, due to the presence of gall stones. He immediately put me at ease (I am a very nervous patient when it comes to hospitals and surgery!). He explained his reasons for surgery, and what I should expect as a result. He was patient and understanding, responding to my questions & concerns, and telling me to go home and take my time to make my decision as to whether or not to proceed to surgery. I therefore had the time to make a well informed decision, and could also contact him if I needed further information. On the day of my surgery, Mr Bhardwaj visited me both before and after the operation. This helped enormously and gave me confidence that I would be in good and skilled hands. I was able to return home the same day, which was good. I made a very quick recovery and so many friends and family members were amazed at how quickly I was back up and back to normal! I would thoroughly recommend Mr Bhardwaj, following my very positive experience. He is understanding, patient and very knowledgeable. He is a very skilled and careful surgeon.

I would like to take the opportunity to thank Mr Mistry for the fantastic surgery that he performed on my right thumb. I am now pain free in the right thumb and it is in a much better position after many years of discomfort and being told nothing could be done . I could not fault my treatment from start to finish at the Spire Alexander Hospital. One thing that would just make it absolutely perfect is if in the coming months it would be possible to consider having the hand therapist attached to the Alexandra so that the procedure is started and finished at the one Hospital. Whilst MCH hand therapist we're very quick and helpful it was very difficult getting in touch with them if you had a problem with the splint etc . I do think that it would just help to make people feel a lot more secure if as I say it was all under the one Hospital.

Dr Lindsay looked at mammy’s medical computer record and asked how he could be of help. He was obviously very knowledgeable about osteoporosis, its impact and difficulties with pain management. He listened to our concerns about the constant pain mammy experiences and discussed pain management strategies. Also suggested vitamin supplements. Given that mammy is in the last stage of osteoporosis we understand that she is very frail and at continued risk of fractures. Dr Lindsay provided information from the Royal Osteoporosis Society advising on managing persistent pain after fractures, pain relieving drugs etc. Dr Lindsay gave my brother and I time to go over mammy’s recent medical history and presenting issues. He had a lovely manner with mammy and involved her in the discussion.

My first appointment with Mr Kalkat was on Zoom at Herefordshire County Hospital. While he came across a very professional, I think virtual consultations are less than ideal. I was admitted to The Harborne Hospital very quickly for lung cancer surgery and was taken aback by the empathy and warmth I felt from him when he visited me before surgery. His explanations were very clear and he was very calming. Following surgery he spent a long time going through the outcome with my daughter, a Stage 4 Lung Cancer sufferer. He visited me every day and guided me through my recovery. I couldn’t recommend him highly enough.

It was such a brilliant experience. I had treatment for my frozen shoulder and the staff from the receptionists to the consultant to the assistant to the nurses were absolutely brilliant. As a business owner, I strive for this type of customer service and your staff are the best representatives of perfection in their offering. I would like to especially thank the cosultant who carried out the treatment and his assistant (I fainted a few times so forgot their names) who were exceptional. Thank you very much for a challenging evening into such a pleasure.

I had a follow up appointment for more YAG Laser treatment. Upon entering Cathedral Eye Clinic you are greeted by very friendly and helpful staff at reception. Thereafter I had very detailed tests carried out by a female Optometrist who is very knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. Finally I had further tests and this was followed by the laser treatment by Mr Best who exudes absolute professional brilliance and is very reassuring explaining everything in detail. A truly excellent experience and I can recommend their fantastic care to anyone.

We checked in early, due to traffic, 20 minutes early at 13.10 for an appointment at 13.30. At 14.05 I returned to the reception desk to ask why a large number of customers had arrived after us and been seen before and the Team Lead stated that she would check for me. She came back 3-4 minutes later to notify us that the reception staff had not booked us as arrived. We were told that they were sorry and that we would be moved to the front of the line. We did not have a very good experience with you.

I recently visited Lanthorn Clinic in Farringdon for an advanced blood test and a shoulder ultrasound, and the whole experience was genuinely excellent. The team were positive, helpful and incredibly efficient throughout. The clinic itself is spotless, with a clean and relaxing aesthetic that immediately puts you at ease. Every member of staff I interacted with was friendly, professional and made the process feel straightforward from start to finish.

I'm sure it was being decorated when I visited 6 months ago. Still is. Before appointment they send forms to be completed online. No problem with that except one is for COVID asking if anybody on the family has been to a country on the government red list or been told to isolate by NHS. Neither of those things happen now. I raise it every time and nothing changes. Almost as if nobody reads the reviews. So much for "quality"

Really simple to order medications. Fairly straightforward experience. The problem starts and ends when the fact that they use Royal mail for deliveries. Had I known, I would have ordered elsewhere. Royal mail consistently mess up on deliveries especially on my area, and it's impossible to get through to customers service (which is non-existent really at Royal Mail).
