I am at Kingsbridge Hospital for partial knee replacement surgery. Surgical Ward 1 - 28/11/2025. I am writing to express my deepest and sincere thanks for the outstanding care I am receiving during my stay at Kingsbridge Hospital, Ballykelly. The professionalism and kindness I am receiving during my care is outstanding. Sarah, Kerry, Laura & Kim (night staff) from Ward 1 have all been wonderful, nothing was any trouble and I want to thank them for going above and beyond to ensure my well being. Unfortunately, I can’t remember all the names of the staff on ward 1 when I booked in, but again these staff were amazing (Keavsa/luke). I have felt very at ease during my stay and that has come across naturally from you all. You deserve recognition for all your hard work and care you have provided. Please convey my heartfelt thanks to all the staff involved in my care, including the doctors Mr Acton, Dr Brian OG McLary and their team who showed exceptional expertise. Not forgetting the physio. The assessment visit was fine in that I walked away with a clear diagnosis and a plan, but the experience was a little hectic due to cleaners coming in to prepare for the next appointment while we were still there, and the dr needing to take urgent calls as she was on duty at the time. The team I speak with are all very friendly but there seems to be a disconnect between the information exchanged on emails and whatsapp. I feel this may have led to a delay in starting treatment. Again, it's fine because I got it in the end, but there may be some part of the process/line of communication that needs review/improving. My initial virtual visit was at risk of being cancelled due to where I was having the call from. Thankfully, the doctor was able to accommodate another slot on the same day. I noticed that there is now a clear statement on the booking confirmation re: need to be in a private space for virtual calls, which is good.

Moorfields Private Eye Hospital

Very unorganised, got the bill twice with no explanation. Called and had to speak with 3 people and still no one knew what bill was correct. The Surgent secretary told me to ignore one of the invoices which turned out was wrong. First time I arrived for the consultation I was told that the surgent who I was going to see wasn’t there and they advised me to go home. It turned out he was there and waiting for me. Second time they couldn’t find my file and didn’t know what to do or why I was there. 3rd time lucky you would think, I was told to wait in the waiting room and I did without being told there were two waiting rooms and I was in the wrong room and the surgent called me and wondered if I was on my way. On the positive the surgent and the operation was great but I do wish it was a bit more organised and that the information given to the patients was with a follow up to everyone involved.

I had the pleasure of attending several sessions with Mrs. Sandra. The first focused on an assessment of my overall health, followed by clear and practical recommendations for improvement. She prepared a detailed report that included a personalized list of supplements with precise dosages, which I found extremely helpful and highly professional. In addition, I experienced several kinesiological sessions that brought me significant emotional relief. These sessions allowed me to gain new perspectives on patterns I hadn’t recognized before and helped me release them with greater ease. I recommend Mrs. Sandra as a knowledgeable and compassionate practitioner. She approaches each person holistically, integrating both physical and energetic perspectives. I look forward to continuing my work with her in the future.

My surgeon and nurse continued that same level of warmth and support throughout my aftercare. Their reassurance, responsiveness, and genuine concern for my wellbeing meant more to me than they probably realise. I had an excellent experience at Nuffield Hospital Guildford. The hospital was very easy to find, and the reception team were welcoming and efficient. Check-in was quick, and within a few minutes I was seen by the doctor, which was impressive. The facilities were modern and spotless, with a comfortable waiting area and both hot and cold drinks available. The building itself feels contemporary and well maintained, creating a calm and professional environment. The staff were courteous, organised, and clearly experienced, which gave me confidence throughout my visit. Overall, a very smooth and professional experience from start to finish. I would highly recommend Nuffield Hospital Guildford.

My stay at Delamere was incredible I would highly recommend it. The staff were so friendly and nice, every single one of them knew my name from day 1 which made me feel a lot more comfortable and safer. The structure of the groups and days were well thought out through. Every group was informative, engaging and interesting. They offer many 1-2-1 sessions to allow for a more focused therapeutic approach, all the therapists and mentors were highly knowledgable and compassionate. The food was great with plenty of options and flexibility. I’m very thankful to have got to stay here.

Mr Amr Hawary

The recent visit was very informative. Mr Hawary explains the results concisely and at a level a none medical person understands. All the meetings have been informal, even noticing when one of us had a worried look. He explained the diagnosis, showing us the results and explaining what they ment alleviating any concerns. He also explained what I should be doing next, ie pelvic floor exercises and sent a link to the document that explains how to do them; which is very useful. I am extremely happy with all the consultations we have had with Mr Hawary.

I am totally in awe of how I was managed under the expertise of Mr Gould. I came to him with a gut problem not actually understanding my problem and by the time he has explained things to me I knew what the problem was. My issue somehow manifested to be even worse and he took care of all matters relating to it including the surgery and after surgery care. Always had a listening ear. I can't thank Mr Gould enough for everything. My experience was more than a 5 star one and I am grateful to God that I met Mr Gould.

Dr Mez is amazing at what she does,she's very professional, kind ,helpful and goes an extra mile to help you with your worries and needs as a patient. Earlier this year,I had fibroids that were affecting my fertility which she successfully operated on me and i can testify that after this myomectomy procedure i have been able to conceive my first baby with my partner .am really happy with the care she has given me and advise during my fertility journey. On my early arrival, I was asked to take a seat, and called by Mr. Wilson's assistant to meet him. He thanked me for coming, asked how I was feeling since my operation, and if I had any complaints or questions to ask. He then proceeded to ask me, how I was feeling, re. Having my other knee replaced early next year 2026, and I replied yes thanks, which was not a problem. Mr. Wilson then completed the paperwork required, which I signed, to confirm.

Dr Christopher Lawrence

Dr Lawrence is very thorough, knowledgable and considerate. He really takes time to engage and understand, never jumping to conclusions, and always puts my lived experience, as a patient, first and foremost. I feel I can be open and transparent with Dr Lawrence and he in turn is non-judgemental, honest and supportive. I would rate Dr Lawrence as one of the very best doctors I've ever dealt with and consider myself very fortunate to have met him.

I'm not sure what I was expecting, but welcomed the opportunity to talk to the doctor during the visit. The written report, following the verbal followup was not of much use to me as it was written in medical ' code'. Had I had the written table of results to hand before the verbal feedback phone call, it would have permitted me to ask what areas denoted as being H /L were about and how I might make changes if any were possible.

Very pleasant experience, clinic was beautifully clean, fresh paper on the bed, the nurse introduced me to the professor, both extremely pleasant and happy to explain exactly what was being done, and happy to answer my questions. I recognised the professors name, I think he has treated me in the past at some time. The whole experience was quick and very calm atmosphere, it would put anyone at ease, very professional.
