This was my first appointment with Professor Rajani and it was conducted by telephone. Before my consultation, I had sent over a couple of recent echocardiogram reports as well as some blood and urine test results. This helped form the basis of my consultation. Professor Rajani has an easy-going manner and gave me his professional advice regarding his observations on the reports. I felt very reassured by our discussion and there is no need for me to have a follow-up appointment at this time.

The experience overall was good once seen by clinical staff. Had to wait 15 minutes after planned appointment time, 30 minutes in total after being told to be there 15 minutes before appointment. I understand than clinically time may run over, but there was no communication which would have been useful. I wonder if specific reception staff for the vein clinic would be helpful. Waiting area would also benefit from coffee machine for relatives waiting.

I had been experiencing problems with my thumb and knees, tried various things including thumb splint. Saw Dr James Thing and must say the experience start to finish was excellent, pinpointed problem areas and carried out scan and targeted areas that were problem and treated, now no longer need splin or pain relief. So much more movement in knees too. Would highly recommend.
