It’s an absolute honour to have met Mr Sean Molloy. He is the most amazing, professional, honest, kind, gentle human being and surgeon I could have ever known. He is a fantastic surgeon. If the ratings had more than 5 stars I would be giving them all to him. He has helped my mum throughout her spinal surgeries on 3 occasions and the final one was a very complicated case. He looked after her so well to the extent that he would even visit her at night after a long day of seeing patients. On the day of her surgery once he finished with her he called me late at night reassuring me and discussing it all in detail with me. I do not know of any surgeon who would do this… he is so dedicated and takes pride in his work. He will always put patient care first making sure you’re ok. He is god sent to us and I would trust him with a blind eye. He performed balloon kyphoplasty on me following my trauma where i fractured my spine. I would have ended up with a collapsed spine had he not acted quickly and treated me. I can’t thank Mr Molloy, Suzzane and the rest of his team enough for all they have done for me and my mum. Thank you so much from the bottom of my heart.

Moorfields Private Eye Hospital

I attended the hospital to have planned eye surgery consisting of cataract removal, lens replacement and full thickness corneal replacement under general anaesthetic. I arrived early and was allocated to a private ensuite room with secure storage. Nurses confirmed all the necessary checks that had been conducted the previois day in pre-assessment. A nurse applied gel to my hand to numb it ready for a cannula and provided surgical stockings. The anaesthetist visited to re-confirm details and provide reassurance. The surgeon visited to review procedure and risks. The nurse accompanied me to the anaesthesia room and looked after my clothes. After fitting the cannula painlessly, after the anaesthetic I knew nothing until awakening in recovery, with a pad over the affected eye. I was taken back to my room feeling fit and well. Nurses checked on me and provided the refreshments I had ordered. The surgeon visited again to confirm the follow up appointment. Medications were made ready, with post operative guidance. My chaperone arrived to take me home. The whole thing was completed on schedule.

The operation was performed with incredible skill, and the results are beautiful, natural and truly life-changing. I felt safe, heard, and taken care of every step of the way. I always ask for Mr Moss. I've been seen by him for almost a decade on and off, he is quite simply the best at what he does. Hes always friendly and his work in theatre is second to none. With healing being the best I've experienced after many surgeries. Hes succinct and to the point I always know what's going on and what's coming up. I would prefer to not see anyone else and hope he doesn't retire anytime soon! Please thank him from me 10/10 . My hip replacement that he did simply changed my whole life , if I could id give him a raise! Some doctors or surgeons go above and beyond, Mr Moss is one of those

I had a consultation with Dr Benjamin Salt on 2nd December. I found him pleasant and informative. He began by asking for my experience and history of the varicose veins which were the occasion for my visit. At no stage did I feel rushed rather that I was being given the time to explore not just the physical details but the attitudes which might shape my decision on whether to go ahead. Dr Salt clearly outlined the procedures involved, the risks and the outcomes for the future. I shall read the letter to follow with care and will feel able to make an informed decision. Thank you.

I recently had a hysterectomy at this hospital the surgeon was brilliant but during my stay in the hospital I was appalled by how I was treated. Staff were friendly but some of them when I needed them ignored me. A specialist nurse from my consultant had to advocate for me. Upon discharge, one of my stitches had been left in which then went on to cause other issues. I was then chased severally for payment when I had made clear and provided authorisation codes from my insurer. I was not impressed with service from the hospital itself at all. But my consultant was brilliant.

I have been seeing Dr Newman for about five years following a diagnosis of MGUS which needs to be monitored regularly because it can develop into Myeloma. Following my blood tests, I see Dr Newman at the Brighton Nuffield Hospital and he carefully explains what everything means. I will continue to see him every six months and have no hesitation in recommending him. I must also mention that his long-standing private secretary, Jude, is amazing - she is so helpful and kind and calm at all times.

Overall, it was a great experience. My only suggestion would be to consider allowing patients to complete any required forms online in advance of their appointment. Being asked to fill out paper forms upon arrival—particularly after having already completed information online—feels a little outdated and could be streamlined for greater convenience.
