The team was incredibly helpful with everything from breastfeeding support to physiotherapy guidance, ensuring that I felt confident and well looked after as a new mother. I recently attended a Preconception Appointment with Mr. Adam Jakes at the clinic. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with a warm welcome from Gemma at reception and Mashal kindly assisted with my pre-appointment obs. The clinic itself is immaculate, modern, and beautifully presented. During the consultation, Dr Adam took the time to thoroughly review my medical history and discuss plans for baby number two. We spoke in detail about my Type 1 diabetes, its potential impact on a future pregnancy, and strategies to optimise blood sugar control beforehand. The appointment never felt rushed; Dr Adam provided clear guidance and even highlighted the progress I’ve made, which was a reassuring confidence boost. I would highly recommend Dr Adam, especially for anyone managing a medical condition. The experience was seamless, and I received comprehensive follow-up notes within just a couple of days.

I visited Rohan due to having had chest pains for approximately a week and wanted to get an expert opinion. The reason I chose to see Rohan is because back in 2023 I was discharged by our local A&E having been told I had indigestion. I saw Rohan the following week and his diligence led to the discovery of a blocked left anterior descending artery and him fitting a stent. Because of this, Rohan is the person I trust the most with anything heart related and this was the usual positive experience with him taking the time to gather relevant information before discussing what the potential issue could be and any required/possible treatment paths. I may not have been here to write this review were it not for him so as far as I'm concerned there's none better.

Our family has been patients of various members of the team at the Forbury Clinic for over 10 years. Something has changed in the past year, rather than feeling like you are listened to and being cared for it now feels much more like a business akin so a sausage factory. In and out the door as quickly as possible, barely space for questions and little to no bedside manner. It feels like profit over patients. The remainder of our appointment yesterday was in a stair well being led downstairs after being shunted from room to room. With a teenage that is appalling. They find it hard to ask questions in an environment like that.

I had a wonderful experience at my most recent visit with Dr. Salvia at Dr Benn’s surgery. My baby had been unwell, and the clinic was able to see us quickly, which was such a relief. Dr. Salvia was calm, reassuring, and incredibly thorough. She took the time to check everything carefully and explain what was going on in a way that eased all my worries. Her kindness and gentle approach made my baby feel comfortable, and I left feeling confident and supported. I’m so grateful for her prompt attention and the genuine care she always shows. I couldn’t ask for a better GP service.

I have had a niggley back for some time due to swimming and playing netball and not done anything about it. However I have got much stiffer and one side of my lower back became painful so reached out to Oseteopath West. Lisa diagnosed my sacroilliac joint was disfunctioning (lol) and did some.hands on treatment and dry needling. All I can say is wow as the pain has gone and more importantly I know what is going on and what I need to do to.prevent this on going. Thank you Lisa for your professional service. I will be back if I need to and will definitely recommend your services.

The hospital itself was great and senior nursing staff on the day were informative and professional. My anaesthetist was phenomenal as was my amazing surgeon. However I had a bad experience with one of the health care assistants who wouldn’t let me use the bathroom and led to a bit of a weird experience. Plus when I got my stitches out two weeks later the nurse couldn’t see the stitches and she gave the tweezer to my fiancé who actually ended up getting the final ones out.
