I was under Matt’s care from 10 weeks and our baby girl was safely delivered via elective c section at the Kensington Wing at Chelsea and Westminster hospital. Matt was calm, patient, a proactive listener and provided clear explanations, combining his own experience and evidence based research, to help us with every decision. Choosing a consultant was a huge decision for me and my husband, especially as first time parents having undergone IVF, but going with Matt was a no brainer after the first meet and greet. My husband and I trusted Matt entirely throughout the pregnancy. Matt really got to know us and would always choose his words carefully to ensure we understood the important points and weren’t overwhelmed by unnecessary detail. Matt read us well and meant we could speak freely and left every appointment completely happy that all our questions were covered. Matt was always available via WA and very responsive. Special shout out to Matt’s PA, Sarah, who was organised and took away a lot of anxiety around logistics. Sarah was extremely responsive, helped liaise with KW on my behalf and knew the process and administrative aspects inside out. Everything was seamless between Matt, Sarah and the KW team and I never had to (re)explain myself and what was needed. I had to go in for some urgent tests on a weekend and by the time I got to KW, Matt had already asked the team to expect me and communicated what was required. When results were ready the team called Matt on the spot to discuss next steps, and Matt then separately messaged me to confirm. The c section itself was the most perfect experience and I cannot imagine anyone but Matt providing support for my future pregnancies. The rapport between Matt and the delivery team, including Mark Cox (Anaesthetist), was clear and that made me and my husband feel calm and relaxed so we could be fully present throughout. I recently had a bilateral breast augmentation at 101 Harley Street and I cannot express enough how incredible my experience was — especially thanks to Dr. Agha Riaz. From the very first consultation, Dr. Riaz stood out as one of the most genuine, caring and skilled doctors I have ever met. He took the time to listen carefully to what I wanted, explained every step clearly, and made me feel completely safe and confident in my decision. His professionalism, precision and warm manner instantly put me at ease. The operation itself was a complete success, and the results are even better than I imagined. Dr. Riaz’s attention to detail and commitment to achieving the best possible outcome truly show in his work. His follow-up care was just as exceptional — he checked in, reassured me and made sure my recovery was smooth and comfortable. The entire team at 101 Harley Street was outstanding, especially Simon, the nurse, who was incredibly supportive and kind throughout the process. Excellent care - Cannot fault how Ms Adams and Mr Parker and their teams looked after my mother before, during and after her operation. We paid personally for the operation (~£40k) but our experience with the billing and payments and the wider admin team is in a complete mess. We had to pay up front for everything prior to admission, which was ok, but unexpected (could have been better communicated to us, rather than a sentence lost in some paperwork), and fairly sure the insurance companies which they usually deal with wouldn't do this. One of the payments/billing team then visited my mother in her hospital bed, 4 days after a major abdominal surgery and started demanding more money verbally (to be paid that evening/the next day) with no paperwork/invoice/backup). Some things weren't done as part of the operation and the Consultant messaged us to say that it should be discounted, but no adjustment has been made. I have requested detailed backup on numerous occasions, and nothing has come through. A real shame that the medical and care team have been let down by the Cleveland back office on this occasion.

I endured a horrific accident about 10 years ago when I fell (I believe due to a drink being spiked) and fractured two of my front teeth, one so badly that I had to have root canal work done and a crown fitted, I was devastated to learn that the root canal had failed and had caused an infection which would require further and costly dental work. The staff at Vermilion couldn't have done any better in how they treated me throughout the course of treatment which spanned 3 months. Dr Treagus in particular, must be highly commended, as despite his struggles in drilling through the crown (due to metalwork within the crown) to enable him to carry out the treatment, persevered and kept me informed at every stage, detailing worst case scenarios and explaining very directly what my options were. He and his colleagues managed to create a calm, and at times humorous environment which really helped to take my mind off the seriousness of what needed to be done and what could go wrong. I highly recommend the practice for their professionalism, and sheer determination to achieve a good outcome for me.

I attended the hospital to have planned eye surgery consisting of cataract removal, lens replacement and full thickness corneal replacement under general anaesthetic. I arrived early and was allocated to a private ensuite room with secure storage. Nurses confirmed all the necessary checks that had been conducted the previois day in pre-assessment. A nurse applied gel to my hand to numb it ready for a cannula and provided surgical stockings. The anaesthetist visited to re-confirm details and provide reassurance. The surgeon visited to review procedure and risks. The nurse accompanied me to the anaesthesia room and looked after my clothes. After fitting the cannula painlessly, after the anaesthetic I knew nothing until awakening in recovery, with a pad over the affected eye. I was taken back to my room feeling fit and well. Nurses checked on me and provided the refreshments I had ordered. The surgeon visited again to confirm the follow up appointment. Medications were made ready, with post operative guidance. My chaperone arrived to take me home. The whole thing was completed on schedule.
