I went in today for my first ever colonoscopy. Although I was nervous, every staff member I met made me feel comfortable and at ease. there was a brief 10 minute wait before I saw the nurse, who was very informative about the procedure and took some recordings (blood pressure, heart rate etc.) before asking me some questions. After not very long at all I went into the room to have my procedure and Samer and his team were excellent in talking me through the process, what I might experience, and how long it would be. They regularly checked in on me throughout to ask how I was doing. Regarding the colonoscopy itself - overall I felt no pain at all really - some discomfort from the gas (which they make you aware of) but otherwise it was fine. I chose sedation rather than gas & air, and found this worked well for me. It is an odd sensation in general; but manageable. The procedure took maybe 20 minutes, before I was moved to recovery. The recovery nurse & all staff members there were very friendly. They read me my report, made sure I understood the results, and gave me some biscuits and squash (which I was grateful for after 24H of not eating!) - I was out from here after around 20 minutes, having no notable lingering side effects from either the medication or procedure. Overall, fantastic service from everyone. Thank you so much.

I had an ACL tear. Post surgery, before going to Ilias, I started with a physiotherapist that wasn’t as helpful nor professional. It was uncomfortable and decided to change my Physio. I spoke to TEN Health & Fitness and was paired with Ilias and couldn’t be happier with the care I received. From the start, Ilias was extremely friendly, approachable, and easy to trust, which made a huge difference throughout the rehab process. The programme was well-structured and clearly tailored to me, and over time we built real trust in both the process and the outcomes. I’ve now fully recovered and my knees feel stronger and more stable than they ever did before the injury. I’m genuinely more confident in my movement than I was pre-ACL. I’m back to playing football (the reason I tore my ACL), playing tennis, and even skiing! Highly recommend to anyone going through any type of muscle/tendon/bone injury and wants to heal.

I was diagnosed with a tumour in my spine that was compressing my nerves, causing numbness in both legs and difficulty walking. During this time, I had the privilege of being under the care of Dr Budu. Dr Budu was extremely patient and thorough, taking the time to explain my condition and the surgical procedure in detail. His knowledge and expertise were very reassuring, and he always made sure I understood each step of the process. This gave me great confidence that I was in safe hands and would recover well under his care! Just a few days after surgery, I was already able to feel my legs and toes again. Nearly two months later, I am almost completely back to my normal life and can now run and jump again. I am incredibly grateful for Dr Budu’s care and professionalism！🙌

From the moment I arrived at reception until I left at the end of my assessment I was treated really well. Reception staff were really friendly and respectful and explained the paperwork to be completed and assured me that the wait would not be too long. I was called within 5 minutes by the first nurse who carried out all the necessary basic checks explaining everything really clearly. She then sent me back to the waiting area until the doctors were ready to do the final assessment again I only waited about 5 minutes before I was called to the examination room. The doctor explained really clearly what all the tests were for and what would happen when the procedure was to be done. A very pleasant experience from start to finish

pleased with consultant and his diagnosis.not so with the rest of the hospital.toilets broken;no working water urns,had to wait 10 mins for someone to serve me at the cafe and when they did the coffee was tepid;had to wait over 25 mins to be seen by doctor.reception did not know where the nearest bus stop was but they did ask a local employee for me.so medical section of your hospital i cant complain about but the rest of it was poor

As a pianist, I always have to think long and hard about any kind of intervention but the latest injections have made a huge difference. Always very friendly, attentive, a well-stocked childrens waiting room. On this latest visit we did have a slightly bizzare situation where we arrived, were checked in, weighed and measured, and put into the waiting room. We then received a phonecall - from the next room - explaining that we were late for our appointment. They were very embarrassed and there was no harm at all. Funny though!

I was amazed by the e efficiency of the staff and how reassuring they were I was introduced to everybody involved, who were all very kind.. It was painless, over so quickly, the consultant Ayad Shafiq was talking to me all the time and the nurse I Fiona was with me throughout everything, even holding my hand through the procedure.
