I cannot speak highly enough about my experience with Mr Boz Mohammadi and his incredible secretary, Iwona. From start to finish, the level of care, professionalism, and compassion I received was truly exceptional. Mr Boz Mohammadi is not only a highly skilled and knowledgeable surgeon, but also remarkably kind and patient. He took the time to explain every step of the process, answered all my questions with genuine care, and made me feel completely at ease throughout what could have been a very stressful time. His calm, reassuring demeanor and attention to detail gave me complete confidence in his abilities—and the results speak for themselves. Equally impressive was his secretary, Iwona, who was warm, efficient, and incredibly responsive. She handled every inquiry and phone call with such grace and kindness. No question was too small, and she always made me feel like a priority. Her support played a huge role in making the entire experience seamless and stress-free. Together, they make a truly outstanding team. I did have to wait a while before I was seen, maybe 30 minutes or so, but all the staff were wonderful, caring and reassuring all the way through to being cared for after the procedure. However I feel that the consultant over sprayed the anaesthetic in my throat, he sprayed about 3-4 squirts in my throat, stood back for a moment then sprayed another 3-4 squirts, some of which ended up going into the back of my nasal passages at the back of my throat which gave me a terrible burning sensation in the back of my nasal passages. Maybe this amount is normal, but having had the procedure at another establishment some years earlier, I had no such experience, again I found that there was so much mucus in my throat from the anaesthetic after the procedure that I found myself gagging on the mucus and I was coughing loads of it up into tissues the nurse had to provide me with. Plus I was unable to swallow properly for what seemed like ages. But over all, the staff were wonderful and very caring, but if I need this again, after this experience, I think I would prefer to be sedated.

The surgery itself went smoothly, and thanks to Dr. Jacob’s skill and reassurance, I felt I was in very safe hands throughout. At my follow-up appointment, I was delighted to learn that my healing had gone exactly as expected and no further treatment was needed. I am truly grateful for Dr. Jacob’s professionalism, kindness, and expertise, and I would highly recommend him to anyone considering this procedure.

I attended HSSH for a hip examination under anaesthetic with a local anaesthetic injection with Professor Griffin. I cannot fault the administration in the run up to the procedure, or the care and attention that I had before, during and after. All the of staff, from the reception team to the team involved in the procedure itself - Prof Griffin, Dr Kazmi (anaesthetist), Rebecca (physio), Remmi (nurse) + all the theatre staff, made it efficient and comfortable. They also accommodated my request to stay a little longer than was necessary, until my partner could get to the hospital to escort me home until, which was much appreciated. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend or use HSSH again.

My wife is in hospital for an operation today and due to prior anxieties over NHS treatment, we asked the hospital for me to stay with my wife in the room throughout including overnight. They have been most accommodating and have bent over backwards to make it work and kept me fully informed throughout how the operation is going. The consultant was more than happy for me to ask questions both during consultations and the surgery today and has given great confidence that all will go as planned. Ward staff have been more than helpful to both of us and treated us as individuals and my wife has been provided a high level of care throughout.

We were so impressed with the hospital. It was modern, clean, and we were welcomed so warmly by a nurse called Helen who somehow knew who we were and offered us a hot drink and clearly explained how the process of the appointment and procedure would look like. We were then taken to the room where Dr Shah and a second nurse called Yvonne welcomed us and Dr Shah explained clearly the assessment, the procedure, and dealt with us and and our newborn son with care and attention. The aftercare was also wonderful and we were given time and space to ensure our son had recovered before we left. Cannot recommend One Hospital and Dr Shah enough.

I came to urology as a private patient because I am allergic to so many antibiotics my own doctors had failed to prescribe something that would clear an infection I had had for six weeks. Within ten minutes of seeing the urologist and explaining things he prescribed medication that has cleared the infection and it hasn’t returned in the last five weeks. I am thrilled with the service I received and the prompt action of the urologist. I have since undergone further tests, which have had only a short wait time, perhaps a week. All I all I can’t thank the team enough for everything they have done. I finally felt listened to.

I had hip replacement surgery, my admission and pre surgery checks were done professionally and very courteously. The surgery team made me feel relaxed (I was very nervous) and they treated me with care and respect before, during and after the operation. Overnight, the medical staff checked on me regularly, were very supportive and helped with pain management and looking after my comfort Throughout my stay the service staff were very attentive and looked after me, catering for my needs. Overall, I feel I was looked after as an individual and my needs taken care of.

An urgent visit to the hospital to review some worrying symptoms. Dr Bora was very sympathetic and kind, concerned she listened well and considered my urgency and did her best to do everything in her capacity to move the investigation forward as much and as fast as possible. Gentle and skilful with the examination and the on the spot procedure. She followed the visit with a call. Luckily she had a good news for me. I also have to thank the Chelsea and Westminster Hospital for the fast test results which were sent to me on Sunday evening. Big thanks to the whole team.
