Mr Stuart Guthrie is professional and caring, providing clear explanations to patients. Patients report feeling at ease and reassured, with all stages explained from initial appointments through to aftercare. The care provided is excellent, and many patients are pleased with the positive outcome of their procedures. Cataract surgery is a prominent theme among patient treatments.
During my initial consultation Mr Guthrie explained everything very clearly, answered all my questions, and was very reassuring about the surgical procedure and how I would be supported afterwards. A month after my surgery I have had my second follow up consultation which was conducted with the same caring professionalism. My other eye is now going to be treated and I am really pleased that Mr Guthrie will be doing the surgery again.
Professional and efficient staff, with a caring attitude
All staff were pleasant and professional, Which helped to put me at ease and relax during the treatment. I would not hesitate to recommend this clinic and surgeon to others.
All stages were thoroughly explained, and the staff were all very professional and courteous
Overall, my experience was fantastic from start to finish. Mr Guthrie was absolutely amazing — kind, caring, and incredibly supportive throughout the entire process. From my first appointment through to surgery and aftercare, he made me feel completely at ease. As a young person, I was extremely anxious going into surgery, but Mr Guthrie’s calm and reassuring manner helped ease those worries straight away. He was very professional, patient, and took the time to explain everything clearly and in detail, making sure I fully understood each step and felt comfortable to ask questions. I never once felt rushed or dismissed. Throughout the whole experience, I felt genuinely cared for and supported. The aftercare was also exceptional, explaining everything in great detail, also receiving follow up calls the next day. I am incredibly grateful for the care I received and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Mr Guthrie to anyone. He truly made what could have been a very stressful experience feel calm, safe, and positive.
Very professional, helpful and caring. Everything explained clearly and very good aftercare. Could not fault the whole experience.
