I started my training in ophthalmology in Athens, Greece, and continued my
training in UK hospitals. The needs of my patients always come first, and I

A big thank you to George Kiousis and his team - Clea and Jon, and the nursing assistants. At all stages I felt well looked after, and I am very pleased with both operations (left and right eye).
Whilst my vision is improved , I’m disappointed that my vision is not as clear as I had expected. I have an astigmatism in that eye and discussed if it would be better to pay for the better lens that would correct that, but was advised it wasn’t worth it, but now my sight is still blurred and not sharp at any distance. The preparation nurse before the surgery was professional and welcoming, but the surgery team did not speak of even say hello or goodbye and started to discuss a new piece of equipment and peoples opinion of it while they were still operating on my eye, which I felt unprofessional and made me feel uneasy.
I'm very happy with op & everything was explained to me ,all staff are very helpfull
Friendly, with a calming disposition. Super efficient . Was very impressed
