Mr Johannes Keller is a Consultant Ophthalmic Surgeon specialising in cataract and retinal surgery. He is currently based at the private practices Nuffield Health Bristol Hospital and Spire Bristol Hospital. His current post is Bristol Eye Hospital, University Hospitals Bristol. His areas of interest include retinal surgery; macular hole; epiretinal membrane; vitreous floaters; dislocated lens implants and lens implant exchange.

Mr Keller trained in centres for eye care excellence in the UK and around the world, honing a wide repertoire of medical, surgical and interpersonal skills. He is a fellow of the Royal College of Ophthalmologists as well as having the equivalent specialist title from Spain. He undertook two years of highly specialised retina surgery training at the Bristol Eye Hospital and the Sydney Eye Hospital, Australia.

In addition, Mr Keller has a special interest in patient safety holding a formal role in the NHS dedicated to the improvement and maintenance of quality of care. He is also an accomplished cook, a weekend warrior 10K runner and enjoys playing rock, pop and jazz music on the keyboard.
