The staff at Princess Grace Hospital were outstanding from start to finish. From pre-op to the pre-surgery waiting area, everything was explained clearly, including how patients are triaged, which really put me at ease. The level of support was exceptional; physio, dietitian input, and timely pain management were all seamlessly provided. I was also impressed by the technology, such as the pump to prevent blood clots, which gave me extra reassurance since I have predisposition to Deep Vein thrombosis. I would like to give special thanks to my anesthesiologist, Dr. Chan, who was excellent, and to every single nurse who cared for me; there were too many to name, but they were all amazing, including the night assistant who was always available the moment you ranged. Even the food exceeded expectations. It felt like 5-star dining, with healthy, abundant options that made recovery more comfortable. After many surgeries elsewhere, I can honestly say I’ve never had such a positive hospital experience. Princess Grace sets a remarkable standard of care.

Absolutely fantastic experience. Mr Jain, his team of nurses and physiotherapists were absolutely brilliant. I was reffered to the Spire hospital with a dupuytrens problem. Firstly Mr Jain examined me and said exactly what he could do. When I was admitted, Mr Jain and his whole team, including the anesthetist, came to greet me and explained exactly what was going to happen.......and this is exactly what happened. After the operation, the aftercare was great, with the physiotherapists taking great care of me. Six weeks later, Mr Jain examined my hand again to ensure everything was perfect before discharging me. Hardly any scarring can be seen on my hand at all, (after only six weeks), all my fingers work as they should now, and my hand is back to normal. Great surgery by Mr Jain. Thank you, what a great team!

I would highly rate the care that I was given throughout my time in the hospital and I would like to commend the nursing staff in particular, however I have one major issue which has left me very dissastisfied. During my first appointment I was told that I needed the socket of my hip replaced and was given a price for that procedure. Then I met with another doctor who said that said if the whole hip needed replaced it would cost considerably more and quoted a price up to £12000 more if this work needed to be done. It was confirmed after the operation that I only needed the socket replaced but was charged the price quoted for a full hip replacement without any explanation. I would like to hear from someone about resolving this issue.

Car parking can be a problem. There are some local side streets with the odd space or Sainsbury is about a 20 minute walk, think you get about 3 hours. I had my operation on a Saturday and the place seemed very quiet and peaceful, one member of staff said it's more chaotic in the week. Parking was easy at 7.30am on Saturday but I had been dropped off anyway. There are buses that stop nearby from Macclesfield bus station but I haven't tried them. It's lovely to have your own room, particularly if you're a very sensitive person. The staff on the whole treat you with respect.

Mr Blazej was fantastic from the very beginning. Explaining everything to my wife and I, making us feel more at ease from the start. The speed of my recovery is testament to his skill as a surgeon, for which I’m incredibly grateful. Mr Blazej came to see me the morning after my surgery to see how I was and to answer any other questions I had. I’ve felt safe and reassured throughout this whole journey and I’m also very grateful to the bowel cancer nurses for their support and guidance along with the doctors and nurses that looked after me on the ward.

I had the Fenton procedure done 3 months ago. I am so pleased with Mr Farags' work. He has totally cured my problem and I am now back to normal. Thank you so much, Mr Farag. I can not thank you enough. I should have had it done years ago. The procedure was quick, and the staff were all lovely. The Spire Hospital is so clean and comfortable. I had discomfort for 2 weeks and fully recovered within 2 months. I would definitely recommend this procedure. Thanks again for giving me a new lease of life!!

Mr Vachtsevanos is a very warm and friendly surgeon and explained the procedure I had undergone in detail with views of X-rays taken. I felt very pleased with the outcome and knew what to expect during my rehabilitation. I was very fortunate and grateful to be able to express concerns about my other knee and had various X-rays taken and given a full explanation of findings and plan with regards this at the same appointment.

Called at short notice with a concern about my current health. The lady on reception was very very helpful and gave me all the relevant information I required . Such was that information I immediately booked an appointment for 30 mins afterwards. The Dr was very thorough from start to finish took a full blood sample and reassured me that all avenues would be checked and a diagnosis would avail of it .. Money well spent in regards my health and wellbeing thank you all ...

My experience with Mr Banghoo has been exemplary, the first question he asked me was, what are my objectives, he then worked backwards to deliver the most appropriate intervention, in my case a partial knee replacement. The whole process has been superb, Mr Banghoo is solicitous, informative and highly professional. It’s probably odd to say, as surgery is traumatic, but this has been a very pleasant experience and I cannot recommend Mr Banghoo highly enough.

Appropriate treatment by medication and physio which cured issue effectively with minimal fuss. Overall, a comforting and reassuring experience.

Once inside the building I was greeted promptly by the receptionist who was approachable and friendly. Wait time was a little longer than expected but staff did advise of this. Otherwise a very positive consultation experience. Being new to the hospital site, it wasn’t easy to locate SPH as signage tailed away aster the first o two. Car parking was poor - no spaces available on arrival and no indication given of alternatives.

His explanations at every stage of my treatment were comprehensive and detailed but in such a way that could be fully understood by all. 2. Appointments, tests and feedback were arranged speedily in time to meet an urgent deadline of mine and were always held at the time arranged with no delay. I was very satisfied with my choice of Dr Steadman as my consultant.

Outstanding care by Dr Bellamy. What made it outstanding was the time he took to explain things, the way he was able to reassure whilst being realistic and how he helped in terms of understanding the “ next steps.” He is a rare find in medicine nowadays; a doctor who has a genuine interest in people. The team of nurses were friendly and competent, offering relaxed and informative patient care.
