Suffered with gallstones 5 weeks after having my baby, longest with NHS wasn’t ideal for me being a new mum let alone the anxiety of having another gallbladder attack. I booked a consultation at Nuffield for another surgeon originally and I made an error with my dates, by chance Michael had a free appointment the following day ( fate) Booked , attended consultation . Michael was lovely , uofront , honest and very to the point. surgery planned for 18th December ( 3 weeks from consultation ) I was so nervous about the surgery but meeting with Michael on the morning of , he was relaxed , very calming and made me feel at ease. Before I knew it I was back in my room and home by 8pm the same evening. Recovery has been great and had my post op catch up today. Michael you are a wonderful surgeon and your personal relationship with your patients is second to none from following up personally after surgery to putting a very anxious person at ease. I had the best treatment and aftercare from you and would recommend you to anyone having any issues. Thank you so much for everything but most of all getting me back to myself. Kimberley

The One Welbeck centre was immaculately clean and tastefully furnished. The waiting room areas felt more like a Hotel than a clinic which I found relaxing. All of the staff that I encountered in the Breast clinic were professional and polite. I was seen quickly. The entire process from beginning to end was very smooth and efficient. Mr Leeper is an extraordinary Consultant, he is incredibly charming, polite, personable, kind, approachable, and eloquent. I felt very comfortable speaking with Mr Leeper, and being assessed by him. When the results of my mammogram and scan were received Mr Leeper very kindly took the time to explain the results to me in detail using easy to understand language. I particularly appreciated Mr Leeper's attention to detail, and kindness in interpreting complex medical terminology in such a way that it made complete sense to me. I would highly recommend Mr Leeper. Mr Leeper's Breast Cancer Nurse was also very welcoming and professional. Thank you for delivering such excellent care.

We first saw Dr Burmester when our son was dealing with a prolonged series of illnesses. She was extremely thorough with her diagnostics, explained everything to us very clearly, and guided his recovery in a way that made us feel calm, reassured, and well supported throughout a very stressful time. On arrival, and in good time, there was a huge que at the reception desk with only one member of staff trying to deal with patients. We waiting a very long time even to be acknowledged so, not wanting to be late for our appointment, we made our own way to the area A. We were then approached another member of staff in Area A who was able to give us the forms we should have received at reception. Knowing that a significant number of patients were due in the recetion should have been fully staffed with an expeditious way in processing through.

The information regarding my eye issues was not send, pass to the Cavendish clinic. It was asked to be translated into English to be use to refer my case to the individual specialist in cavendish. He didn’t have it and nobody did I anything about it. My 85 year old friend did an AI translation on her phone and handed it to the specialist! Incredible.
