I am Betty's daughter. My mum has mobility issues. Getting her from the car park into the diagnostics centre was incredibly difficult. We borrowed a wheel chair from the helpful car park attendant. But it was raining so heavily that by the time we got inside my 87yr old mum was soaked to the skin. She had to sit in wet clothing for 4.5hrs until I got her home and changed. Luckily the car park attendant helped us back to the car at the end of her procedure. You REALLY need a drop-off right zone at the door to the centre, with seats inside to help relatives get their lives ingress in safely.. The staff couldn't have been nicer or more helpful, but even with their help, this was a very stressful visit fdue to lack of access and horrendous weather conditions.

The appointment appeared on My Chart with very little information about who originated it and what its purpose was. Phone calls to the appointments team produced no further information. We thought it could be bad news that had to be communicated face-to-face. The journey cost £60 and necessarily exposed me to some infection risk. When we got there and were directed to outpatients, we were not called. In the end we discovered that a senior nurse called Muriel was expecting a telephone consultation, which is what we actually did in the outpatients area. I think you need to ensure that appointments do not go on the My Chart system unless it is clear what the purpose of the appointment is and who has originated it.

I’ve been seeing Avni since my first pregnancy back in 2022. She came recommended to me via my yoga teacher as having “magic hands”! I find Avni’s sessions so calming and relaxing. She seems to intuitively understand my body and where the tension lies. I always feel so much better, both physically and mentally after seeing her. She is also very respectful and interested in me as a person, sharing her wisdom and recommendations to make my pregnancy journey more enjoyable and supported.

After I got a PCO in my left eye I needed laser surgery. I had not been told this was common after Lens replacement by the opticians who did did that surgery so I was very worried about my sight. I contacted Cathedral Eye Clinic who assured me it was common and was easily corrected. They made an appointment and in less than an hour my sight was restored. I was dealth with by very friendly and professional staff and would happily recommend Cathedral Eye Clinic to anyone .

Everything went very well, and I am very happy with the outcome. The fact that I managed to stay calm during the whole procedure is due to the care of all the staff. The scars seem to be doing fine - a little bit of itchiness, but I assume that's part of the healing process. (By the way, I filled in the short survey on paper when I returned to East Grinstead, a week after the operation - I left it with the receptionist.)

I had some balance testing done due to vertigo I’ve been experiencing and it was incredibly thorough. The audiologist who ran the test explained every test in detail to me so that I would know what was about to happen and what I had to do. She also answered all my questions about what was happening and what she was looking for as we went along. I don’t think it gets more thorough and detailed than this.

From the 1st Visit Dr Ng filled me with huge confidence. The surgery was said to be more complex than normal due to metal work I already had. This wasn’t an issue for Dr Ng who professionally carried out both the 1st surgery (ACL, meniscus and cartilage repairs). Then a second surgery to remove some meniscus after I damaged it again during rehab.
