I had a Rhinoplasty here with Lucian Ion. I'm grateful to all of the staff at the hospital for making my stay so comfortable; the room was clean and comfortable, and whenever I needed help the nurses were quick and helpful, plus the food was really good. The surgery and anaesthetic itself went smoothly, and it was re-assuring to talk to both surgeon (Mr Ion) and anaesthetist (Dr Warwick Marchant) beforehand, and then see Mr Ion multiple times after the surgery. When I was soon to be discharged from the hospital I momentarily (for a few minutes) felt very rough; the hospital staff were really friendly and there wasn't any rush to discharge. One thing I did note is that there wasn't always complete consistency between the surgeon and the hospital, e.g. on the admission time, or on how to clean the wounds, so I would suggest trying to improve this (the patient, at least speaking for myself, isn't always a reliable intermediary), however this was a very minor issue.

I had a similar injection previously in the USA, and I must say the care and overall experience at your hospital were far superior. Everything was done with great attention and professionalism, and I left feeling confident and optimistic about my recovery.

My knee replacement operation was explained and discussed as Mr Shankar wasnt sure if partial or full replacement was required but he'd get a better understanding once knee was open. We agreed if there was any doubt that full knee was my preference but Id use his experience and skill to decide on best outcome. The surgery was completed with minimum pain only needed pain relief for 3 days post operation, and outside of swelling there was no brusing which the physio said would be down to the skill of surgeon. The care at Spire Hartswood was fantastic pre & post operation. Im two weeks post op and apart from minor swelling, the bend and overall knee look and feel great.

I have been coming to Hope House since being diagnosed. I have seen multiple consultants, but everyone pails into insignificance compared to Andrew. The only reason that I attended Hope House is Andrew. Andrew is friendly, compassionate. He treats his patients as friends, which immediately puts you at ease. He goes beyond normal parameters to know his patients background and whats happening in their lives. He is extremely knowledgeable, and very understanding, explains things in layman's terms. There has been a period recently where Andrew wasn't available which affected a couple of my appointments, to the point I started to research alternative clinics

I cannot rate my experience highly enough. Mr. Thakur and Dr. Richard the anesthetist were extremely professional and supportive and took time to clearly explain the procedure and process and answer all of my questions. The nursing staff, Steph, Brian, Natalie and Til were fantastic looking after me post op and were very friendly and supportive. The pharmacy team took great care in explaining my medication and advising on the pain relief regime to follow. Gary from the Physio team was great at explaining the rehab exercises and putting me through my paces to make sure I started my recovery in the best way. A great team, please pass on my thanks.

Dr Botchey helped my back / hip symptoms with an open minded, knowledgeable and approachable manner which I enjoyed. At times even when prompted for answers, managing my expectations to recovery could have been explained and outlined more clearly which is also the case for the physio aspect of the visits. Overall I’ve experienced good care and significant improvement which is a big positive and Dr Botchey’s final summary sounds quite confident that the prognosis looks promising , but I do feel somewhat unsure of what to expect with ongoing full recovery.

The professionalism, care and skill throughout my journey (heart valve and ascending aorta replacement) were exemplary.. throughout the entire process there was an excellent plan for pre-op, op and post-op which was transparent and fully explained. The actual procedure was a great success and recovery is progressing extremely well (10 weeks post op). I feel extraordinarily lucky to have found my way to Mr Quarto and his team, undoubtedly a very special and skilled surgeon..

Downstairs work being done to the building. Noisy and lots of stuff/materials over the waiting room floor. I found the whole experience poor considering this is a private paying surgery. I understand the work needs to be done, however for a patient it is not ideal by a long shot. Not a relaxing atmosphere or acceptable. This is the second time I have been and the same building work being done.

Dr Brent was very thorough and checked my whole body for other lesions.. he originally suggested surgery but at the de ond appointment I had accidentally removed the top of the lesion so he used cryotherapy for this and also removed another at the same time which wasn’t causing an issue but could possibly in the future. Very helpful and good communication.
