Choosing Cleveland Clinic London for my endometriosis surgery was one of the most transformative decisions of my life. I arrived exhausted, scared, and carrying years of pain — and I left feeling safe, understood, and finally free. My surgeon, Dr Mohamed Mabrouk, is truly extraordinary. He is one of those rare doctors who combine world-class surgical skill with genuine compassion. What he achieved in the operating room still amazes me. Although I was originally diagnosed with milder endometriosis, once the surgery began it turned out to be stage 4 — something that often can only be discovered during laparoscopy, because deep infiltrating lesions simply cannot be seen on scans. This can happen “out of the blue,” and it did in my case. Yet even with this unexpected complexity, Dr Mabrouk removed every single trace of disease with exceptional precision: • My ovarian reserve was fully preserved. • None of my organs were damaged. • Not even a single blood vessel was touched. This level of surgical accuracy is incredibly rare for stage 4 cases. Many women lose organs or face complications, but he protected every part of my body. His steadiness, confidence, and expertise are on a completely different level. But beyond his skill, what touched me most was his kindness. He explained everything patiently, made me feel safe, and even called me personally after the surgery — including on weekends — just to check on me. He is a doctor with a huge heart. My anesthesiologist, Jeremy R. Prout, was equally exceptional — calm, reassuring, and so professional that I felt safe even in the most vulnerable moment before going under. The nursing team was unbelievable. They checked on me day and night, looked after my pain management, took tests, reassured me constantly, and treated me with so much warmth. They didn’t just do their job — they cared. After discharge, the nurses continued to support me over the phone, checking on my recovery and symptoms. They even provided me with all the medication I needed to take home, which made everything easier and much less stressful. The hospital itself felt peaceful, clean, luxurious — beautiful private rooms, delicious food available at any time, and a calm atmosphere that truly helps recovery. Now, one month after my complex robotic surgery, I can say something I never thought I would again: my physical and mental health is finally restored. I have no pain. I feel light and calm. I recently underwent a mini tummy tuck procedure with Jane Kirby after years of being very self conscious with the appearance of my lower belly. After my first consultation with Jane I knew that she was the right surgeon for me, she was very professional, personable and her excellent bedside manner made me feel at ease. Jane took the time to listened to my concerns and what I hoped to achieve with surgery as well as explaining the procedure at length with realistic and achievable outcomes. Pre and postoperative instructions were discussed in length about what to expect on the day of the surgery and what the healing and recovery process would involve. Jane also kindly send me recommendations of post operative clothing which would help aid with my recovery. The day of the surgery I was looked after by an amazing team and the surgery went very well, I was definitely in the best hands with Jane as my surgeon. The post operative care was outstanding, Jane would check in daily for the first 3 days and then weekly from then as well as face to face appointments, I knew that if I had any questions or concerns Jane would definitely be there if needed. My recovery went well, with minimal pain and discomfort. I strictly followed the post operative advice given - sleeping in the correct position, wearing my binder provided and compression shorts, this definitely helped my recovery go as smooth as possible. I am now 9 weeks post surgery and the results have exceeded my expectations, Jane is a very skilled surgeon and my scar is so neat and flat, my lower tummy is flatter and firmer. Jane is such a warm, friendly person and a very professional, knowledgeable skilled surgeon. Jane has given me my confidence back and I cannot thank her enough. If anyone is thinking of having any plastic or cosmetic surgery I can not recommend her enough, she is an absolute credit to the medical profession.

I attended Mr Peter's surgery at Spire over 12 months back to discuss hip pain and options. Following xrays and confirmation of osteoarthritis in both, he was extremely helpful and clear as regards my (limited) options for managing the pain or resolving through hip replacement. As someone with 2 young kids and relatively young at 51, I was worried about surgery but his calm and supportive manner convinced me and I felt I would be in very safe hands. I had an excellent experience at Nuffield Hospital Guildford. The hospital was very easy to find, and the reception team were welcoming and efficient. Check-in was quick, and within a few minutes I was seen by the doctor, which was impressive. The facilities were modern and spotless, with a comfortable waiting area and both hot and cold drinks available. The building itself feels contemporary and well maintained, creating a calm and professional environment. My experience was very disappointing with the consultant. I was happy for my appointment to be changed just before attending due to the consultant running late. I was very disappointed with the lack of interest and time shown to be by the consultant. I got 10 minutes of his time to be told to cut out caffeine at the cost of £250. I was hoping to receive some understanding of what could be causing recurrent UTI's and reassuring me of any fears of anything sinister i.e bladder cancer. Only to be told this only occurs for around 10/20% of cases. I think what really irked me was he looked at his watch part way through me speaking This I found very disrespectful and rude.

Was a little confused and concerned with all the last minute changes for surgery, then to be told and left waiting in a room for surgery to then say ur appointment was not the appointment time when u came in on our computer so they did change my appointment time! Other than that surgeon was fantastic brilliant and friendly After Care - as given a bag of meds and a latter and cards for the doctor with no sore dressings for wound area.

We were welcomed nicely. Offered a lovely selection of drinks by the friendly reception staff and then saw our wonderful Dr Jawad who is just so kind, caring, thoughtful and knowledgable. He just goes beyond doctor and you really feel he genuinely cares for your child. He is so thorough and informative and has such a great manner with the children (and is parents). Would 100% recommend.
