Dr Andrew Porter

Dr Porter has been such a great doctor from the get go. After Prof Mason death, I was a bit scared about how everything was going to be managed but Dr Porter has made me feel at ease with how my treatment was going to proceed. Very thankful for and to him for the care that he has provided not only to be but to my family aswell.

Took time to explain implications of test results and listen to concerns

Dr. Porter spent 50 minutes with me, carefully going through all the details and asking supportive questions to fully understand my case. What I really appreciated was that he asked for all my previous pericarditis results so he could get a complete and broad picture. He also sent me for additional blood tests to make sure he sees the whole situation clearly. He advised me that he will speak with another doctor about my case, which makes him seem even more professional in my eyes. So far, I’ve had a very good impression.
