Dr Porter is always extremely helpful. He actually listens to what you have to say, asking questions as appropriate, clarifying what is meant. Generally getting to the bottom of things. He takes time and doesn’t rush, extremely professional and respectful. And I can’t fault that he’s just a generally approachable nice friendly guy.

I am extremely pleased with Dr. Andrew Porter and the care and approach he has taken with my treatment (I have UCTD) and since starting hydroxychloroquine, I have noticed a wonderful improvement in how I feel. The pain and swelling I was experiencing in my legs and joints have improved significantly. Before, I struggled to stand and walk even for short periods, but after just a couple of months of taking the medication, I can now do so for much longer periods. It has made a real difference to my everyday life. I have also noticed a positive change in my overall wellbeing and mental health. I am very grateful for the treatment and for having a rheumatologist who listens, understands and has taken such a thoughtful approach to my care. The hydroxychloroquine has worked wonderfully for me, and I feel so much better than I did before.

Dr Porter is an amazing doctor. He is thorough in his investigations and clearly extremely well informed not only in rheumatology but also in general medicine. He also really listens to the patient, makes you feel at ease and generally cares, which are rare qualities in doctors nowadays. I would highly recommend him.

Phenomenal experience with Dr. Porter

I went to the wrong clinic for my appointment and everyone was extremely helpful. My appointment didn’t need to be rescheduled despite the 25 mins delay which was extremely helpful. Dr Porter was very nice and explained everything clearly.

Very clear explanation of plans and reasons for follow up diagnostics. Dr Porter ensured my questions were answered and that I was comfortable with his proposed plans.

His knowledge and experience was clear from the start which instantly gave me confidence he was the key person I’d been looking for to manage my onward treatment plan.
