About Mr Nicholas Eynon-Lewis
Mr Nicholas Eynon-Lewis is an experienced ENT consultant based in London having been appointed to Barts and The Royal London hospitals over 20 years ago. He specialises in nasal and sinus problems and is the founder of The London Nose Clinic. Mr Eynon-Lewis also runs a specialist voice clinic at the Royal London Hospital. He offers longer than average appointment slots (30 minutes for new and follow-up), as he believes it is important to have enough time to discuss each patient's condition thoroughly. In 2018, Mr Eynon-Lewis was named ENT surgeon of the year (London) in the Healthcare and Pharmaceuticals awards.
Mr Eynon-Lewis trained at a number of hospitals, including Charing Cross Hospital and the National Throat, Nose and Ear Hospital. He has also worked and trained in South Africa and the USA. He has a passion for medical education and leads undergraduate teaching at Barts and the London Medical School. In addition, he has delivered many lectures over the years on courses and at various institutions such as the University of London and the Royal College of Surgeons of England. He also co-founded and is the organiser of the annual London Rhinoplasty Course for ENT, Plastics, and Maxillofacial Surgeons, focusing on aesthetic and functional aspects of nose surgery.

I had been suffering from an ear issue for several weeks and was fortunate to secure a last-minute appointment with Mr Eynon-Lewis. From the outset, he conducted a very thorough assessment. Throughout the consultation, he clearly explained each test he was carrying out, what he was looking for, and the reasons behind it. He also took the time to discuss the additional investigations he would like me to undergo and explain their purpose. Mr Eynon-Lewis listened carefully to my concerns and answered all of my questions thoroughly. I left the appointment feeling much more informed, confident, and reassured about my situation. I needed an urgent appointment due to pain and could have not found a better doctor to support me. Dr Eynon-Lewis was extremely patient, thorough and skilled in his approach. He took the time to listen and explain and also take care about how I’ll feel when I go home and when to see him again. He is really good at his practice too as he is explains his medical approach which is well evidence based. Booking with his assistant is also delightfully easy and pleasant.
Nick is absolutely brilliant at his job (consultation wise and surgically) but more so is a genuinely caring individual that ensures any decision you take is well thought through and well informed. I discussed different concerns and issues with Nick several times and never felt difficult or rushed into a decision where it may result in surgery. I would recommend Nick 10 times over any other medical professional I've dealt with. Other consultants I had consultations with felt pushy and focused mainly on aesthetics rather than functionality but Nick has both in mind at all times. Christina
