About Dr Zhong Chen
Dr Zhong Chen is a Consultant Cardiologist specialising in adult cardiology with particular interest in the management of heart rhythm disorders. He sees private patients at several hospitals across London, including Wellington Hospital, Hendon Hospital, The Kings Oak Hospital and The Cavell Hospital. He also sees private patients at The Runnymede Hospital in Chertsey.
His clinical practice heavily involves treating patients with the following conditions:

Dr Chen obtained his MBBS degree at University College London in 2001 alongside an undergraduate degree in Pharmacology. After qualifying, Dr Chen completed his specialist training in Cardiology in London. He also completed a number of fellowships at St George's Hospital, Guy's & St Thomas' Hospital and the Royal Brompton & Harefield Hospitals where he developed his expertise in cardiac electrophysiology and cardiac devices working alongside world leading experts in the field.
Dr Chen later undertook research in Cardiovascular Medicine at King's College London and he was awarded a PhD for his work. Here he pioneered the use of cardiac MRI for the treatment of complex cardiac arrhythmias.
