A little concerned as to what seems to be a deterioration in standards. - my temperature was checked with an ear thermometer that didn't have a removal cap for hygiene so does this mean it's used in each patients ears? I did not see the deodorant change the cap or discard anything, just picked it up from the table. - my ultrasound scan felt completely rushed. The doctor kept looking at his watch through out my appointment. The machine was supposedly heating up and the doctor did no ask me to turn in the positions to check the organs we needed to see. - I was prescribed medication that can easily be purchased at any pharmacy and more cost affective to purchase without prescription - there is no where near enough privacy in the appointment rooms and the waiting area. It's quiet and I could hear almost the entire conversation of other patients. - I should have been offered a full urine test based on my blood results - over not the experience I've had before. Really disappointed.

Overall this was a good experience, I had a combined assessment via NHS right to choose. I liked that I was seen in person for this. The wait times were much longer than initially expected however I believe there was a huge influx of patients at the same time that I was referred. The assessments themselves were good with understanding and knowledgeable assessors. The report which I have received is in depth although I did think there may be a professionals insight into the early developmental questionnaire whereas it is just copied into the report. I had a few queries about the report which I am waiting on the answer to and also have asked for it to be sent to my GP which hasn't been done yet but again, this is the lacking wait times. Apart from the wait times, the service was great and I am thankful for their help. I think my referral was made in March 2025 and I am writing this review in December 2025.

I thoroughly recommend. I attended Dr McGrady's clinic to obtain a diagnosis and removal of a small bump on my nose which I thought might be a basal cell carcinoma.. Dr McGrady put me at ease by explaining that it wasn't a form of skin cancer but a sebaceous hyperplasia. He explained how he would remove it. He then thoroughly examined the rest of my face for any other skin issues He found 2 more sebaceous hyperplasia and removed all 3 by using cryotherapy. The procedure was quick, and I am very pleased with the outcome. I highly recommend Dr McGrady and his team. I have attended his clinic before for a similar diagnosis and removal. He has so much knowledge and expertise, is a good communicator and made me feel at ease..

I recently had my final appointment with Simon Howard following my recovery from a ruptured Achilles tendon. Sinon has been so motivated, passionate and driven in helping me return to competitive badminton. I couldn’t have wished for a better physiotherapist to get me through this injury, and the number of times simon has helped me through both physical and mentally tough spots in my recovery have been invaluable. Later on in my treatment I still had some issues with nervous “dead spots” around my surgical site, and I was very helpfully introduced to acupuncture, which I believe had a big physical and psychological impact in recovering sensation around my ankle and Achilles tendon. Thank you Simon!

Mr Yamoah has changed my life and I will forever be grateful. For almost ten years my GP told me I had IBS and wouldn’t take my pain seriously. This time last year I reached breaking point and didn’t think I would ever feel better. I’m so glad I decided to seek private care. Mr. Yamoah is the first medical professional that has taken me seriously and not made me feel like a nuisance or hypochondriac. Within the space of three months my endometriosis and dermoid cyst were diagnosed and successfully removed and I finally feel like myself again. The nature of the condition means that it will return but I feel so much more confident being in the excellent care of Mr Yamoah.

Our family has been patients of various members of the team at the Forbury Clinic for over 10 years. Something has changed in the past year, rather than feeling like you are listened to and being cared for it now feels much more like a business akin so a sausage factory. In and out the door as quickly as possible, barely space for questions and little to no bedside manner. It feels like profit over patients. The remainder of our appointment yesterday was in a stair well being led downstairs after being shunted from room to room. With a teenage that is appalling. They find it hard to ask questions in an environment like that.

I had a very positive experience at my recent doctor’s appointment. The staff were attentive, friendly, and truly made me feel cared for. I was especially impressed that the doctors themselves came to the waiting area to welcome their patients (shake their hands 🤝) and personally guide them to the examination rooms — a small gesture that makes a big difference. I also appreciated that I was offered help without having to ask repeatedly, which has unfortunately been my experience at my local GP in the past. Overall, the visit felt organized, professional, and genuinely patient-centered. Highly recommend. Thank you.

I came for a complete tight hip replacement. Staff were all friendly and answered all my questions. Was taken t my room, unpacked got dressed as required. Put on my dressing gown and then read my book. Was taken into pre prep surgery, chatted to the anesthetist and other nurses. Was then moved into the surgery. Operation went well, I was kept up to date during the procedure. I was listening to music throughout. No pain at all, at the end met the surgeons and chatted with them. Went to the recoveryward for about and hour, chatted with the nurses and relaxed. Then taken back to my room and relaxed.

Mr Iqbal was very kind and professional and i was very comfortable with him operating on my eyes. The procedure was explained in detail, it was recommended that I researched and thought about the eye surgery that we have discussed. I had 2 appointments with Mr Iqbal before surgery. Hospital staff were very helpful and I felt very well cared for after my operation. I would highly recommend Mr Iqbal and very much appreciated his work and thank him so much. I'm truly delighted with my eyes.

From start to finish the entire process was simple and was explained in a simple and informative way. At no point was I left with questions…every step was fully explained. The surgery was obviously painful but I was looked after and made to feel comfortable and given everything I needed…even a change of bedding in the middle of the night!! Not that I want another surgery any time soon…but if I was to…I could only hope the next consultant was as patient and as informative as Mr T

Mr Sobti was really helpful with referring me to an MRI and getting my surgery for meniscus in quickly. Surgery process was really easy and I wasn't nervous as Mr Sobti and the other doctors all walked me through the process so I knew what was going on. Mr Sobti gave me some exercises to do which was really helpful and now 8 weeks post op I have my full motion in my leg and the pain from meniscus damage has now dissapered.

Professor Griffin was easy to talk with. He explained my condition clearly, outlined the various treatment options and answered all of my questions clearly. Our final decision to consider hip replacement was reached on the basis of probabilities and risks and he left me in no doubt that at any time I could change my mind about the need for a hip replacement. Throughout his manner was sympathetic and helpful.

My experience at the hospital was excellent and I really couldn’t have been looked after better by Mr. Harley and his wonderful team. Many thanks.

Very clear in laying out the options and talking through the details both before and after surgery. Surgery went really well and was surprised by how little pain there was in the days immediately after the operation. Everything is responding well to the rehab process so couldn’t ask for more.
