Sadia Bhatti was my OB in consultant-led pregnancy and post-pregnancy care at the Kensington Wing, Chelsea Hospital. We met her when I was already in the third trimester. She was very professional, explained everything in detail, and even picked up on things that had been missed in my previous check-ups. One of the aspects I appreciated most was her responsiveness. She gave us her personal WhatsApp and always replied quickly, even checking blood test results within the same day, which was incredibly helpful and reassuring. The C-section itself went very smoothly, and I felt I was in safe hands throughout the delivery. That said, I think there are areas where the care could be improved. During pregnancy, I mentioned that I was taking sertraline for depression, but I didn’t feel that my mental health was really integrated into my overall care. I was given a recommendation to a psychology clinic, but it was too far from my home to be practical, and there wasn’t much follow-up beyond that. Later, when I requested a doctor’s letter acknowledging my mental health so I could extend my thesis deadline postpartum, she did not include it. She explained that because it was only a recommendation and not a formal referral, she could not note it. This reliance on a technicality meant I had to go through the retraumatising experience of retelling my medical history to my GP instead of receiving the support I needed at a very vulnerable time. Postnatal care also felt limited. I only had one brief visit after giving birth, and during it she commented on my weight and appearance (“less bloated” and having lost weight). Personally, I felt this was inappropriate, as weight should not be a focus in such a sensitive postpartum period. In summary, Dr. Bhatti is highly professional, detail-oriented, and exceptionally responsive, and I am grateful for the safe and smooth delivery. I am especially thankful that she delivered my healthy baby, and in the end that is what matters most. At the same time, I would encourage more emphasis on mental health support, more flexible and empathetic handling of patient needs, and greater sensitivity in postpartum follow-up care.

The One Welbeck centre was immaculately clean and tastefully furnished. The waiting room areas felt more like a Hotel than a clinic which I found relaxing. All of the staff that I encountered in the Breast clinic were professional and polite. I was seen quickly. The entire process from beginning to end was very smooth and efficient. Mr Leeper is an extraordinary Consultant, he is incredibly charming, polite, personable, kind, approachable, and eloquent. I felt very comfortable speaking with Mr Leeper, and being assessed by him. When the results of my mammogram and scan were received Mr Leeper very kindly took the time to explain the results to me in detail using easy to understand language. I particularly appreciated Mr Leeper's attention to detail, and kindness in interpreting complex medical terminology in such a way that it made complete sense to me. I would highly recommend Mr Leeper. Mr Leeper's Breast Cancer Nurse was also very welcoming and professional. Thank you for delivering such excellent care.

We first saw Dr Burmester when our son was dealing with a prolonged series of illnesses. She was extremely thorough with her diagnostics, explained everything to us very clearly, and guided his recovery in a way that made us feel calm, reassured, and well supported throughout a very stressful time. She was also incredibly generous with her time, answering multiple follow-up questions via email, which was immensely comforting for us as anxious parents. We have been seeing her for over six months now and I would highly recommend her — she is knowledgeable, caring, and someone we trust completely with our child’s care. I would also like to mention Sophie, the clinic manager, who is consistently helpful, professional, and responsive, making the overall experience at the clinic even better.

Mr Ben Yates is in my opinion an excellent podiatric surgeon who gives a very good clinical opinion. I was unhappy that Mr Yates charged me for a “new patient” appointment when this was in fact a follow up appointment lasting about 12 minutes following previous surgery by Mr Yates. Furthermore, I did not receive a clinic letter from Mr Yates until I chased it up more than 2 weeks after my appointment. I received no apology for the delay in sending the letter. Mr Yate’s clinical letter did not contain all the information promised at the consultation and I was obliged to chase this information again. I emailed Mr Ben Yates to raise my concerns but I did not receive a reply from him.

Mr Oakley was clear from the start as to what my knee replacement involved, not shying away from the pain I would be in. This was greatly appreciated as I’m not a one for people trying to gloss over of things. He was very kind and also had a sense of humour, together with being totally professional. He came to see me before and after the operation and again before I left hospital after my 2 day stay. I had an 6 week appointment after my op and Mr Oakley was as nice and helpful then as the first time I met him. All in all I have been extremely impressed with his care, also that of the lovely nurses and other staff at the Nuffield in Hereford.

The Clinic was a little difficult to find but once there the staff were excellent and very efficient. My appointment was on time and the waiting area was warm and comfortable. The consultant was very helpful and explained everything and answered all my questions. I wasn’t rushed or meant to feel unimportant. The nurse was helpful and reassuring. There had been an administrative problem that I had mentioned to the lady on arrival and that was completely sorted out by the time I left which was extremely efficient. I will have no hesitation on returning for a procedure in the near future. An excellent clinic

From the first consultation with Mr Ghatwary, through surgery , follow up consultations and final discharge, I was treated with compassion, care and true professionalism. I clearly understood the surgery I was to under go and the reason for the choice. Without doubt I needed surgery to ease the discomfort I was suffering with, and I’m now delighted that I am discomfort free and cosmetically my body is returning to normality. I could not have been treated better or wished for a better result had I been treated as a private patient.

The staff at Cathedral Clinic were very professional and tried to make me comfortable. However the actual procedure was not an enjoyable experience. having anaesthetic injected into my eye was very traumatic and having gone through the procedure before and it not 100% and having to return for Laser. From my GP referral to my initial appointment it was less then 2 weeks. Before surgery I had 3 post operation assessments. The operation was completed as a day admission. I was kept full informed and treated with kindness and respect by all the staff. Mr Bhardwaj saw me on the morning before the operation and again later after it had been completed. Again, I was kept fully informed about my condition.
