I have an eye problem which is being treated by the NHS but was not confident that things were progressing well. I explained the position and Mr Bowes examined my eyes, reviewed the treatment I was receiving and provided reassurance that things were on track. Mr Bowes is a good communicator and he quickly answered small queries leading up to my cateract surgery. On the day of the op, he and the nurse put me at my ease. The surgery went extremely well with improved eye sight from the next morning. The follow up appointment was thorough and reassuring. He is clearly an excellent surgeon as my op was dso successful. I feel lucky to have had him.

I hugely appreciate my time with Mr Bowes. He’s a very clear and straightforward talker who gives you the space to have a discussion rather than a QnA. I never felt rushed, misunderstood or ignored (even more so with someone with some health anxiety) Reassuring where he can be, straight talking otherwise and makes a plan with you to investigate.
