I cannot recommend Mr Athanasiou highly enough. He is an outstanding surgeon and consultant, far beyond what I’ve experienced previously. He took the time to really listen and explain things clearly, without ever making the appointment feel rushed. His approach is thoughtful, measured and always in the patient’s best interests — he doesn’t suggest unnecessary procedures, only what is truly needed. His secretary, Christiana, has also been brilliant — professional, kind and efficient in every interaction, which made the whole process smooth and reassuring. Finding a surgeon you can genuinely trust can feel daunting, but with Mr Athanasiou I felt completely confident and well cared for from start to finish.

On Monday 1st December, at 12.30pm, I attended the ONE Ashford Hospital, for a total knee replacement. Within a short space of time I was ushered into my room, and eventually changed into a theatre gown. I was then taken to be prepared for my operation. This whole process was pleasant, reassuring, and very professional. Afterwards, I was returned to my room, and given all the attention I could wish for by the nurses, physiotherapists, and catering staff. Nothing was too much trouble for any of them, likewise for the Tuesday, when I was discharged in the afternoon.

am African and originally from Africa. Today, the young lady who took my blood was extremely kind and very professional. As we were talking, she was friendly, respectful, and welcoming. I was truly impressed by her attitude and the way she treated me. When she inserted the needle to draw my blood, I barely felt anything — she clearly knew exactly where the vein was and performed the procedure with great skill. If people in this world were all like her, the world would be filled with endless happiness.

My recent visit I had my regular checkup and cleaning done and when I came back in to have work done and honestly this place always out preforms makes you completely at ease and the constant advice on how to better maintain my teeth and it’s always done with a friendly atmosphere from the moment you walk in. When I was ready to be seen, I was greeted by Dr Michael Smith. His friendly and welcoming nature instantly put me at ease, even though I was already feeling anxious. The medical exam was done with professionalism and Dr Smith talked to me throughout which I appreciated. I can not express my gratitude enough.

I had a very positive experience visiting the menopause doctor. The only criticism relates to payment policy. I was required to pay the full amount for my next appointment six months in advance, which I felt was a little harsh. I completely understand taking a deposit to secure the appointment - perhaps 50% would be more reasonable - but paying in full so far ahead of time does feel quite steep.

From the consultation to the end results, Mr Mohan was professional and responsive. He has a skill of recognising what needs to be done for my frame and body shape. I no longer have loose skin and have a flat tummy (wearing size 8-10!). The opportunity to have two consultants operating in their expert fields meant I got the best results. I would strongly recommend the Abdominal Wall Clinic.

Professor David Warwick

Professor Warwick is a lovely man. When I first met him I was in absolute agony with terrible arthritis in my right wrist. He treated me at first with injections & once those were discounted as they only worked for a short period, Professor Warwick offered me a small operation that has markedly improved my pain. I whole heartedly recommend this lovely man if you have hand/wrist problems.

Mr Goddard was clear in what he needed to do to my knee. He had studied my X-ray and recommended a full knee replacement. I was happy to go forward with his recommendation. After the operation he came to see me and asked me how I was. He said it went well.
