Approximately 6 months ago, my sister was diagnosed with oral cancer which had spread to her cervical lymph nodes. Since this time, we have seen Mr Alibhai a number of times both prior and after the extensive surgery he performed on her. Having worked in health care now for nearly 20 years, I have met several consultants from specialties across the board. Mr Alibhai is by far one of the best in a number of ways. His knowledge and expertise is second to none - this came across in his explanation of the diagnosis and meticulous detail and success of the surgery. He has a warm and compassionate manner while being honest about a difficult diagnosis and the reality of this. Each and every time he has seen my sister, he has spent ample time with her and provided her with reassurance and answered all her questions. Mr Alibhai made a massive difference to my sister in all the time he spent with them with the exceptional care and respect he have them. I was keen to recognise the outstanding care my family received by Mr Alibhai .He is clearly an exceptional professional and massive asset to any organisation he works with.

I really enjoyed working with Mr. Nakade and am extremely grateful for his support and care. As a woman, I’ve often felt anxious about working with a male gynecologist, but Mr. Nakade was exceptionally polite and thoughtful. He put a great deal of effort into creating a calm, respectful, and comfortable environment, and I honestly never felt awkward for even a moment. I trusted him completely and felt genuinely taken care of throughout the entire process. He explains everything very clearly, is extremely careful and attentive, and the quality of care was outstanding. I also heard excellent feedback about the surgery itself and the follow-up afterwards. I especially appreciated that he uses modern tools such as an AI notetaking system, which allows notes to be available instantly and accurately. This made the process feel very transparent and well-organized. Overall, I can only say positive things about Mr. Nakade and would highly recommend him.

I was so fortunate to have had Dr Taylor’s care for my open abdominal surgery. Dr Taylor is not only highly skilled surgeon, but also a truly kind dedicated, knowledgeable consultant. He was so patient with me, always took as much time as I needed to listen to me and talk to me at every step of my procedure. I was very relaxed before the surgery as I knew I was in safe hands . He was there when I woke up from the surgery to inform me all went well and he visited to check on me almost every day during my stay at the hospital. My recovery has been on track so far without any complications. Dr Taylor is very organised and I was able to message him directly and always received quick responses from him which is very reassuring. Even he has updated about my surgery and the outcome of it to my GP directly on the same day. I was so impressed with that. I cannot recommend Dr Taylor highly enough. Mr Awad has been absolutely amazing throughout my mother’s treatment. She’s been seeing him for around 4 months for a lower eyelid growth, which was both invasive and extremely painful. Mr Awad has been so warm, kind and professional at all times and has been so reassuring. My Mum had the growth removed and eyelid reconstruction on the 18th Dec by Mr Awad and the results are truly fabulous. Mum is already mostly pain free and the surgery is so discreet that it’s hardly noticeable. We cannot praise Mr Awad enough and we would also like to say the same for his team in surgery, recovery and clinic. They are all absolutely outstanding and we are so grateful to them all for the treatment Mum has received. We would very much appreciate it if you can pass on our thanks.

Dr Omar Ahmed was introduced to my case after a planned colonoscopy was performed. There was a complication with an abnormal polyp and he stepped in and took charge of the situation. He had to seek permission to perform the intricate surgery he wanted to perform and then succeed in performing it expertly. Dr Omar Ahmed wants to keep me in his care as a long term patient to ensure that any other abnormalities are dealt with as quickly, swiftly and in my opinion expertly as possible. I have never had this kind of treatment and care from any other doctor or consultant in the past and I can’t express how grateful and thankful I am that Dr Omar Ahmed treated me and wants to continue to treat me. We chose her after a few discussions with other doctors as she had been recommended by a friend who had a great experience with her delivering her first child and we are so glad that we did. Our pregnancy journey has been more challenging than initially anticipated and Dr Shalini has been our guide and rock, providing exceptional support and reassuring us from the outset. We are beyond grateful for having her with us all the time during the 24 hours that lasted our labour and for her continuous support and guidance. I was getting ready to leave home in Broadstairs to travel to Canterbury. My Son had rearranged his work to drive me. I received a phone call from the consultant I was going to see. He was under the impression that it was a telephone consultation. As it happened as far as the consultant was concerned it was not necessary for me to travel to Canterbury. He was able to tell me results of MRI and what he felt was the plan of action. There were some crossed wires and it was lucky that I had not started out earlier to use public transport. . Also lucky that the consultant had not waited till.the appointment time on the letter to ring me as i would have been at his clinic.. I was not concerned that I had not got to make the journey.

Mr Jeffery has reviewed and operated on my teenage son recently. He has been amazing all the way through the process. He was able to explain, in a way we could all understand, both his scan results and the reasons an operation would be needed. I spent 3 days at the Royal Free PPU as an in-patient following major surgery and I have nothing but praise for the treatment I recieved from start to finish. My surgery was scheduled speedily, the operation went as well as hoped, and all of the PPU team members who took care of me - Consultants, Doctors, Nurses, Healthcare Assistants and Housekeeping - were professional but at the same time, kind and reassuring. I was really anxious about the surgery and for me, the care that I received as an in-patient, made the whole experience so much less stressful.

I was “plagued” with psoriasis on my elbows and forearms for the last year or so (I am a 60 year old male). I never suffered from psoriasis before. It was getting me down and I wouldn’t wear short sleeves. I made an appointment with Dr Rosy and she examined me and gave me a prescription and hey presto my psoriasis has “gone” after 4 weeks usage of prescribed spray. As per Dr Rosy it will come back but I should use spray as required when psoriasis returns. I am absolutely 100% confident now of wearing short sleeves. I am so thankful 🙏

I was concerned about the risk of stroke or heart attack as my father had died at 52. I am now 70 and very active and thought perhaps that increased my risk. Dr Hammersley was extremely thorough in the questions he asked about my lifestyle, any symptoms, family history and recommended various blood tests, blood pressure readings and reviewed previous ECG’s and echocardiograms as I had previously had an issue with my heart rhythm. I have a great deal of confidence in his conclusions which were understandable to a non medical person.

I was on the waiting list( specialist )for the extraction of my wisdom tooth and when I went to the appointment the infection was not so bad so the dentist was able to take it out, Such a relief for me, so I can have Christmas without having to worry about the pain.
