Everything great, but I would suggest that the reception team focus on the clients in front of them, rather than managing the phones at the same time – I wonder if phones could be managed somewhere away from reception, as every time I had to go back to the desk or passed it by there were people standing waiting being ignored because the reception team we’re doing other things, which doesn’t make a great first impression or mean that people feel cared about or important. This was the case at both the main entrance reception and the outpatient reception. Again, everything was great and everybody was lovely. But also to say that I was asked to come early but not told that I would be having an x-ray in advance, so I arrived 15 minutes prior to my appointment, then had to go for my x-ray and ended up not being seen until 40 minutes past my appointment time, which was the original time, before they moved it to an earlier slot! It didn’t really matter on this occasion, but it’s just a little inefficient and it would’ve been nice to have some clarity as to what to expect when I arrived and I could’ve also arrived in time for the x-ray prior to my appointment had I’ve been told, also I could’ve filled the forms in prior to arriving if they’ve been emailed. No complaints about anything though, and very happy with the service and care overall

Mr Murali Krishnan

I Attended spire Washington 15th November to recieve total left hip replacement surgery from Dr Krishnan’s team. My experience from my first consultation to final discharge was superb. Having never been in hospital before, Everything was fully explained, and I was put totally at ease. The actual surgery went perfectly, the anethatists were brilliant and I felt no pain and slept through the operation which went very well. My Post operative care was first class, everyone involved in my care was excellent, and I was discharged the following day after some PT. My recovery from Surgery has been way better than expected, I was walking unaided after 9 days and by 4 weeks I was able to walk several miles, the incision has healed well and the scar is quite neat . This surgery has been life changing as I was struggling with mobility and pain from osteoarthritis, and now I’m back to normal and able to do all of the things I could before I developed the complaint. I can’t thank Dr Krishnan and his team enough and I would thoroughly recommend him without any reservation.

I initially spoke with Dr. Jolly regarding my lazy eye, as I was experiencing double vision, poor depth perception, and a lack of confidence as a result. From the very first consultation, Dr. Jolly was incredibly personable and understanding. He was extremely diligent in making sure I fully understood everything the surgery would entail, and his communication throughout the entire process was brilliant. I truly felt supported and reassured every step of the way. Dr. Jolly’s confidence in his work was very reassuring and made me feel completely safe in his hands. Since having the squint surgery, my life has honestly changed. My confidence is now through the roof, and for the first time I can comfortably hold eye contact with people when speaking to them. I cannot thank Dr. Jolly enough for what he has done for me. I am beyond grateful and would highly recommend him to anyone considering this surgery.

Mr Himaz Marzook

I am extremely happy with the care and surgical work provided by Mr Marzook. He was professional, approachable, and took great care to explain clearly what the procedure would involve, which gave me a great deal of confidence going into surgery. His confidence and expertise were fully borne out by the outcome. My hernia has been successfully repaired despite being a complex case requiring full abdominal wall reconstruction and mesh repair, following two previous unsuccessful surgeries. As well as resolving the hernia itself, I have also experienced additional gastrointestinal benefits as a result of the repair, including a noticeable improvement in the gastroparesis I had previously been experiencing. I am delighted with the outcome and cannot recommend Mr Marzook highly enough.

I had the pleasure and good fortune to be cared for by Mr Hawary during my recent illness. Right from my first meeting to my discharge from his care, I was treated with dignity and respect and his diagnosis and treatment followed the evidence. His explanations were thorough and I had ample time to ask questions. I was in some considerable distress during my first visit and Mr Hawary very quickly put me at ease and left me with total confidence in his ability. This was a major factor in the success of my subsequent treatment. It was comforting to observe that the things he told me would happen during my treatment happened and this made the whole process much less stressful. I thank Mr Hawary for the care and professionalism he afforded me during my treatment.

Mr Dayo Adeyemo

Was recommended Mr Adeyemo by the Upper GI nurse at Hereford County Hospital. Had my initial consultation with him on 30th September when he recommended gallbladder removal. Found him very calming and knowledgeable at my first appointment and knew I’d made the right choice by picking him for my procedure. Was then booked in for the operation on 27th October, when I woke I had minimal pain and absolutely no gas pains. Recovery was good and went back to see him just over 7 weeks after the op to be checked over where he was pleased with my recovery and was happy to answer any questions I had. Overall I would highly recommend Mr Adeyemo and also found his secretary Alison extremely helpful wherever I needed to contact her for help or advise.

I am so lucky to have been helped by Dr Sanda. From the very first appointment with her, I felt better about my condition. Dr Sanda has helped me to live with tinnitus and not let it ruin my life. Through CBT she has given me the tools to not fear tinnitus. I cannot believe how much better I feel. Of course the tinnitus is there, but by accepting and not fearing it, the brain adapts and I can have long periods of not noticing it. I can sleep with no props. Dr Sanda is also a very kind and approachable doctor. Her advice and explanations make sense. I was so fortunate to have found her at a time when my anxiety was rising. She has taught me that you can feel better with the right help.

Professor Miranda made me feel at ease as soon as we met for the first time. He looked at the problem with my hand and explained that it was something called Dupuytrens Constriction and that it was possible to improve my hand shape by an operation. He explained in detail the procedure for an operation which I then agreed to. All went well a now 2 months after the operation and with the necessary physiotherapist, the finger that was bent is now straight and not giving me pain any more. I would recommend anyone to Professor Miranda for any surgery required on their hands. He was kind, understanding and had a sense of humour, my whole experience was made easy by his demeanour.

Matt Frost was terrific. I'm surprised he wasn't a senior ages ago! But congrats all the same! He's worth every bit of it. Interestingly my hearing had improved slightly from last year and I seriously wonder if this was because I had complete confidence in him. Others always good but Matt inspires confidence in a special way. He also explained the most recent Phonak model clearly so that despite my age and life expectancy, I'm going to give it a try despite the cost. Finally he adjusted my current aids and there is notable improvement. in my hearing. Thanks Matt - and all of you in the office who are always helpful

I’d definitely recommend your clinic but was a little disappointed today by the lack of sympathy from the sonographers when I went for my 6 week 4 day scan. I explained that the pregnancy wasn’t viable (I’d had a blood test at your clinic on Saturday and learn by HCG only increased 8% in 48 hrs) and this would be my third miscarriage in 12 months from my IVF pregnancies and I didn’t receive any shock or sympathy for this. It wasn’t a big deal but if the practice wants to be even better some additional warmth and sympathy would go a long way.

Everything went ok but if I had one criticism it would be I felt that the surgical area was very busy and needed more nurses . I was left in my room with no one coming in for quite a long time and although offered a coffee after the procedure I eventually had to ring my bell and a Dr came and brought me a coffee . Luckily I am not a nervous patient but if I had been there wasn’t enough contact with nursing staff . They’d appear and say they were going to do something and then disappear and not come back .

The ACE facility was very impressive with sleek and modern finishes, and sensitively designed for allergy with all shared areas wipable and allergen-free. As a mother of a young baby, it was also great to see the centre ideally set up for kids and babies with easy pram access everywhere and multiple baby change facilities. The centre also offered all allergy-related support services (blood tests, pharmacy, dermatology) under one roof, saving me from having to run around to get my child everything needed.

Vast majority of the people were super friendly and made my hospital stay very comfortable. Hospital was clean and everyone was extremely professional. I did get the feeling though that you get rushed a bit when it gets to recovery and need to get going post-surgery which is not ideal as sometimes you are just not feeling fit enough or ready to go home straight away, especially after general anaesthesia. Overall extremely positive experience.

I arrived a little early but was seen by Toby almost immediately Toby greeted me in a very pleasing manner and after an initial examination removed wax from both ears without causing discomfort. He then carried out an examination of both hearing aids and informed me that they were both in good order. I was finished in a little under fifteen minutes and left delighted with the service.
