Jess is incredible. She has always shown great care with me during my pregnancy and was always available when I had any concerns. Jess explains everything in great detail and always provides information and guidance for expecting parents. The delivery ended up as an emergency c-section and I'm very glad I had Jess as my doctor who brought our baby girl safe to this world and also took excellent care of me.
We chose the private route for our second baby and cannot rate Jess and her team highly enough. It was a big decision, especially as we were travelling from the north west of England so we were up against logistical challenges, but we are so pleased we chose this route. Jess was really accommodating with our appointment times and dates to help us fit around trains and hotel bookings etc. Coming down to see her was always a pleasure. I was a very nervous patient, with a fair bit of trauma attached to my first birth experience in Manchester. Jess gave me such confidence and reassurance that the birth would be ok - and accommodated the very few wobbles I did have with such warmth and grace that I never felt judged. On the day itself, Jess’ easy-going yet professional nature made me so pleased I'd chosen her as our consultant. And her colleague, Nat, the anaesthetist- she was fantastic. I have only fond memories attached to Emily's birth and that means so much to me. The experience at The Portland really was everything I'd hoped for. I'm also so pleased with the scar and the recovery - being back at the gym and swimming has been so good! My physio also says how neat the scar is looking! Coming to London to see Jess for our final check up was a bittersweet day for us - my husband and I had spent so long talking about whether or not to even try for baby no.2, then figuring out the logistics and the options for birth etc, and then navigating the pregnancy - that to be leaving Jess’ room with said baby, 5 weeks on, felt really special. But it also felt sad that that chapter...
Read moreJess was my obstetrician during my pregnancy (from 20 weeks) and for the birth of my first child. I did extensive research ahead of choosing my consultant and I was extremely happy with my choice. I couldn't recommend Jess more highly. She has the perfect balance of being emotionally supportive and extremely professional. She is also far more accessible than other top consultants I met with, which was a huge help during my pregnancy and made the whole process far more reassuring. The Westminster Women's Clinic is certainly a feather in Jess's cap - it is an extremely well run clinic and had the additional benefit of making it easier to get to our appointments rather than go to the Portland each time. I had various moments of anxiety during my pregnancy and Jess was always happy to help, whether it be speaking to her directly or making referrals to other types of support. Near to the end of my pregnancy, Jess correctly spotted some issues with my placenta and acted quickly to ensure I got an ultrasound scan. On seeing the results, she again acted quickly to book me in for an emergency cesarean that evening, delivering the news to us in a calm manner. Her expertise and quick actions quite possibly saved our baby and we are delighted to have a very happy and healthy little girl who is now 12 weeks old. She was also very welcoming to partners - my husband came along to most of my appointments and similarly speaks extremely highly of her and our experience.
Everyone needs a Jess in their life! No matter how many times I have tried, words fail me to express how incredible Jess is, the care she provides and how special she is to our family. We lost our son last year and when I fell pregnant again, there was no one else we would even consider to look after us and deliver his little sister. My pregnancy was a quagmire of emotions and Jess rode every single one of them with me, never pushed or rushed me, and showed an enormous amount of empathy and understanding. She supported all of my choices without hesitation and spent as much time as I needed reassuring me and revisiting conversations until I was as comfortable as possible. She checked in on me regularly and I never felt like there was a question I couldn’t ask. I had elected for a c section and I can honestly say, it was the most incredible experience. I have never felt as safe in someone’s hands as I did Jess’. I’ve even come away with the neatest scar, what a bonus! Jess, you are a superstar! I wish every woman and family could have the level of care and understanding that you bring to maternity care. You make the world of difference. We hope to be back in a few years and there is no doubt as to who we will be turning to to care for us in our next pregnancy.
Jess supported me from around week 24 of my pregnancy and I couldn’t speak highly enough of the incredible support I have had from her. We had absolute confidence in her advice and care as she guided me through pregnancy, the delivery of our baby daughter by c-section, and then the post-natal recovery period. Jess is highly experienced, incredibly attentive, calm and personable, and made what could have been a very stressful and worrying experience, an excellent one. We are hugely grateful to her and will absolutely be working with her again in the future if and when we have more children.
This is a very long overdue review of Jess and her wonderful team. Dr Jess was my obstetrician for both of my babies, born in 2022 and 2024, and I would recommend her to anyone looking to give birth in London. I had two fantastic c-section births under her care, with great observations during both pregnancies and recoveries. I felt safe throughout, informed and listened to. As both a nervous first time mum with no family support network nearby to being a second time mum juggling toddler life and work; Jess made sure I got everything I needed, at convenient times for me. I think often of her and I have such happy memories of my births.
Jess was a phenomenal physician. Her professionalism and competence, calm demeanour, and attentiveness and responsiveness kept us at complete ease during every stage of the pregnancy, birth and post natal care. I would very highly recommend her.
I was under Jess’s care for my second pregnancy at St Thomas’ and had a wonderful experience. Jess has a lovely style, combining warmth and empathy with a calm, reassuring professionalism. From my first appointment through to my final postnatal check-up, I felt in incredibly safe hands. She takes the time to get to know her patients, understand what’s important to them, and goes above and beyond to deliver truly personalised care. I was fortunate to have a very smooth pregnancy and opted for a planned C-section. Jess proactively requested the anaesthetist from my first C-section, knowing how much it would put me at ease. Having experienced a minor infection after my first C-section, she also put extra precautions in place to minimise the risk of it happening again and to reduce my anxiety. As a result, I went into theatre feeling calm, safe and fully present for the arrival of our daughter. My husband and I will always cherish the memories of that day. My recovery was smooth, and my scar has healed beautifully. Jess was also very responsive to any questions or concerns over WhatsApp, which was a huge source of reassurance throughout my pregnancy. She continued to check in on my recovery postnatally, and I always felt genuinely cared for. Having now experienced care from two different obstetric consultants, I can honestly say that Jess is exceptional. It was like being cared for by an incredibly knowledgeable and highly skilled friend. We are truly grateful to Jess and highly recommend her.
It is hard to put into words how much Jess means to our family. We first met Jess during our first pregnancy, which unfortunately ended in an early miscarriage. During one of the most painful times of our lives, Jess’s warmth, empathy, and genuine care shone through. We knew immediately that when the time came, we wanted her by our side again. As soon as we fell pregnant a second time, we booked in with Jess right away and were under her incredible care from just 6 weeks. Walking into pregnancy after a loss can be filled with anxiety, but Jess made us feel safe and held at every single step. Throughout all of our appointments, she was warm, friendly, and deeply reassuring, helping us navigate each milestone with confidence. When it came to labor, Jess was super supportive of all our aspirations and birth preferences, ensuring we felt empowered and heard. Thanks to her, our journey came full circle in the most beautiful way. Jess is more than just a brilliant obstetrician; she is an extraordinary human being. If you want a doctor who will advocate for you, comfort you, and celebrate with you, Jess is the absolute best there is. We are forever grateful to her.

Thank you so much for your incredibly beautiful and honest words - these mean so much to me. It was such an honour to be a part of your journey - and thank you for instilling your trust in my care. Regards Jess x
I had a fantastic experience with Jess as my obstetrician. She is extremely dedicated to her patients and profession. I had complete trust in her and felt well looked after throughout.

Thank you so much for such kind words. All the very best - and stay in touch! Regards Jess
