Our experience with Jess has been exceptional from start to finish. She has been great, always being available to answer any questions or worries during my first pregnancy. Her level of care and diligence put me at ease and my recovery from my planned c section has been fantastic. I would highly recommend Jess.

The antenatal care provided by Jess was excellent and I would highly recommend her. She was always on hand (24/7) to provide reassurance when needed and address any issue/ complication arising. I found her to be an extremely pragmatic doctor, supporting me in continuing to (safely) weight train and travel until the final stages of my pregnancy, which she knew was really important to me. Jess undertook my caesarean, and after a previous traumatic birth, the procedure was very calm and everything went smoothly. Jess continued to provide support and reassurance in the recovery period which was extremely useful.

I could not rate Jess any more highly and she provided me with first rate care throughout going above and beyond. I was an incredibly nervous patient but Jess put me at ease throughout throughout my pregnancy, labour and after care. She is such an attentive, thorough and kind doctor and any patient under her case is incredibly lucky. All queries and anxieties were answered promptly and in a clear and understandable manner. She has a wonderful bedside manner and instilled me with confidence, over offering reassurance throughout.

Dr Jess McMicking delivered my daughter in 2021 and our son in 2023. Jess is genuine, kind, accommodating, always responds quickly to queries or concerns, knowledgable and an excellent surgeon. I would highly recommend her. It gave me great peace of mind knowing I was under her care for the pregnancy and birth.

Jess looked after me from week 32 of my pregnancy at St Thoma's Hospital. From the day we met, Jess made me feel very comfortable about my pregnancy & about being able to look after my needs both pre and post-natal. I really loved her relaxed attitude towards things. Jess is very knowledgeable & could always answer all of my questions. I always felt Jess wanted me to make my own decisions throughout my pregnancy, especially relating to the 'birth' part but always ensuring that I was fully informed on all the benefits & risks associated with my decisions. When it came to THE DAY - I can't express how amazing Jess & the midwives at the hospital were. I can't fault any of the support & care I was given and I know that Jess is the reason why things went so smoothly with me. While we didn't fully stick to 'my initial plan', Jess guided me through every decision along the way to make my labour & delivery as smooth as it could be. I had a natural/vaginal delivery and have birth to the most amazing little girl at the end of it! I only keep very positive memories of my care pre and post-natal with Jess and really highly recommend her!!!!

Jess is both professional and knowledgeable but also possesses a natural bedside manner that instantly puts you at ease. She is very responsive and deals with your queries herself, rather than through a receptionist. I found this added hugely to my experience and I found it made her very approachable.

We had a great experience with Jess. She was always very accommodating and helpful. We felt safe and secure throughout the whole pregnancy.

I can’t recommend Jess highly enough on both a personal and professional level. Not only is she highly experienced and incredibly skilled at what she does, Jess is also equipped with an excellent bedside manner, and is warm, friendly, and kind. I truly felt in the best hands from start to finish and she made the entire journey such a smooth and positive one.

What can I say?! I can't imagine not having Jess by my side throughout the birth of my daughter. I was 100% in the best hands possible and cannot thank her enough for her help, guidance and patience throughout it all. I can't recommend her and her services enough. She put me totally at ease and made me feel like the only person in her care.

Dr. McMicking provided the best level of care for my pregnancy. She is very trustworthy, knowledgeable, caring, attentive and reactive. Best of all, I felt that she really listen to me, which made a huge difference!
