We went today for our gender scan. The waiting room was lovely and was nice to have a drink and biscuit whilst waiting. We were early and went in not long after our appointment time. Once in the scan the two ladies were lovely and so friendly. Our baby was being difficult and didn’t want us to see what gender they were. They checked everything else for us and did all the measurements and checks which we were grateful for. The ladies did everything they could to not have our journey wasted. I first was sent for a wee, then a walk and a hot drink. Baby was still sitting cross legged whilst cuddling the cord so told us to go shopping and then come back. Once arriving back the lady told us to sit and wait and she’ll come get us once she could. Wasn’t waiting long and went back in. Finally was able to see our babies gender. The Ladies loved seeing our baby, laughed with us about their movements as they were active and couldn’t reassure us more that our baby was happy and healthy. Thank you so much for a wonderful experience. We didn’t have the best first experience with NHS but this had made up for it. Will forever recommend this place to friends and family.

Dr Rehman is exceptional! In this meeting, as in all the others, she demonstrated an in-depth knowledge of the issues and her communication was excellent. She always brought us into the solution by helping us understand her prescription choices and the rationale behind them. Further, she paid attention to what we had to say about the symptoms etc. and importantly, also our state of mind and opinions. This was particularly reassuring. When she couldn’t give us exactly what we requested or suggested, she always helped we understand why and then provide more suitable alternatives. She came up with some treatment suggestions that we weren’t initially keen on but on further reflection, realise those may actually be perfect. In this meeting, as with all the others, she demonstrated, professionalism, knowledge understanding and empathy. And it’s perhaps her empathy and care that have always stood out the most, and given us that needed reassurance throughout the process.

I’ve been under the care of Mr. Larholt for over two years, during which he has operated on both of my bunions. Throughout the entire process he has been consistently excellent — professional, reassuring, and genuinely attentive to my concerns. Both surgeries were handled with great skill, and the whole experience has been smooth from start to finish. Follow‑up has always been efficient, and I’ve felt well supported at every stage of recovery. The results speak for themselves: the scarring on my first foot is now barely noticeable after a year, and I’ve regained full use of it. My second foot is still healing, but the progress has been steady, predictable, and very encouraging. I’m extremely grateful for the quality of care I’ve received and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him to anyone considering bunion surgery.

Having been terrified to get my cataract done, I did a lot of research and found Ed Casswell in Nuffield in Brighton . From our first meeting I liked Ed, he’s professional, friendly and very experienced! As I hate anything to do with eyes I asked for deep sedation and he was fine for me to have this, which was marvellous as I was completely knocked out during the whole process . Recovery was good and I could see out of my new lens straight after the op . Recovery was smooth and no pain at all . I will need the other eye doing sometime in the future and I will definitely be using Ed .

Marris Medical were great from start to end. Booking the appointment was easy, with friendly staff. On the day of the appointment I was taken in earlier, the MRI procedure was explained and completed with ease. I was told I would get my report in 24-48 hours (over the festive period) however received it the same day in the afternoon. I would highly recommend them. I would definitely use them again if needed.

Booked in for BipolEP operation with Mr Miakhil on 3 Nov this year. I was naturally nervous but he put me at ease on the day and everything went well. I was catheter free after 48 hours and was able pee normally for the first time in years. My quality of life is so much improved following the procedure by Mr Miakhil

The consultation with the doctor was okay and she provided enough explanation. Although I expected to continue seeing the doctor, she explained that she couldn't see my mum because of her condition. Everyone was friendly and helpful, and the hospital environment was very clean.

All the staff were so kind, attentive and efficient even though I was a last-minute admission the day before Christmas Eve. The standard of care was excellent - before, during and after my procedure. Everything was thoroughly explained and I felt very safe throughout.

Had to visit for two scans. Everyone was lovely and made it as nice as a hospital appointment could possibly be. Parking is extremely scarce, I had to drive due to trains not running. This was communicated with me when appointment was confirmed.
