Each person treated us with such care, respect, sensitivity, and compassion. Everyone we met genuinely wanted the best for my father and for us as a family. It all went very well. The staff were all very friendly and professional. The only thing I found time consuming and wasteful, of paper, was that I kept being asked about allergies, 3 times by 3 different people who recorded it on three different forms! This is despite it being on my medical records. I also found the wait of 3 hours a bit annoying, in for noon, Op, at 3.30 a bit annoying. However once started it all went well. and I was helpfully kept informed throughout by Mr Coombs. Emma was also comforting with her comments and assistance. The only thing I might change if I came in again is to have a light sedative with the epidural as it was very frustrating to want to change the position of your legs and feet and find that you can't for obvious reasons. Mr Coombs moved them for me but of course I could not feel the move! The two nurses that looked after me for the last hour or so up to discharge were very patient, caring, thoughtful and helpful, I wanted to get up and get home and they told me and showed me when I tried to get up that I was definitely not ready, and kindly told me to be patient - they were very good and I liked them both. All from Mr Coombs downwards made the process and outcome very satisfactory. I was up this morning walking the dog. Kind regards A.H.

I met Mr Freites two days before my planned sugery. At this first meeting he was, professional, approachable and caring. He had excellent personal skills and put myself at ease. Time was spent clearly explaining in depth my procedure, outlining realistic expectations as well as possible risks., so an informed consent could be obtained. On the morning of the surgery, I briefly met Mr Freites, he also came to see me in the recovery department to inform me of the surgery he had performed. After a long day of performing surgery he made time again to check in on me. He explained everything he had done, what to expect during my recovery period and when he would be seeing me again. He gave me the opportunity to discuss any concerns. The following day when he realised I was being discharge and he was not on site he phoned me to make sure I was feeling Okay. Mr Freites is an excellent consultant and I had every confidence in him.

Mr Caspar Aylott

My first consultation with Mr Aylott was Feb 21. I had been suffering with chronic back and leg pain following 2 unsuccessful operations with the NHS and being written off by them. Following an MRI with Mr Aylott I was diagnosed with spinal stenosis, he explained everything clearly and offered minimally invasive solutions. I had 2 sets of spinal injections which worked for a period of time, I returned to see Mr Aylott earlier this year as my condition had deteriorated and he proposed a spinal decompression with a dynamic stabilization. Post Op I am now 80% pain free with no leg pain and reduced back pain. I cannot recommend Mr Aylott highly enough he has given me my life back.

I had my 6 month check up with Lexi. Everything so far with Pride In Health has been great. The reminders for my bloods and checks up are always sent via email and with enough time to get everything sorted for them, as well as options for assistance from Pride. My check up with Lexi was great, she's always very welcoming and fun to chat to. We spoke about my upcoming surgery and she was very supportive and excited for me. Any questions I had never felt too silly to ask and she always had very informative answers for me. I left my session with all my questions answered.

Mr Henry Colaco

Mr Colaco is a brilliant surgeon. He performed Arthroscopic Rotator Cuff Repair and long head Biceps Tenodesis on my left shoulder. He was amazing from my first appointment through to the procedure, being informative and very caring at all times. He showed me images pre-operation and after. I am recovering well without much pain and less use of painkillers. . I am very grateful to Mr Colaco for the excellent surgery and thankful to his superb team. I have already recommended him to a couple of friends and will do to others and family. A big thank you.

I am now 9 weeks post op and feeling great. An excellent experience! Mr Thomas was clear and concise with his explanation of, and reasons for, having my gall bladder removed. The operation was, as Mr Thomas said, a text book case and I was home 7 hours after the surgery. Follow up from the hospital was good and at my post op check 5 weeks after surgery all was well and I was discharged with the proviso that should I have any concerns I must contact Mr Thomas’s secretary Gemma who is the most amazing and compassionate lady.
